Went here for Game 1 Raptors playoff game. Our amazing server, Mary, handled the busy scene like a boss and made our great night even better!
Very loud, not for quiet conversation.
More of a sports bar
Which i didn't realize.
Great ambiance & terrific food, I'd definitely go back.
Service was fantastic and the food was good. We went there to watch the Leaf game but they didnt have the game audio on...just the video and music. That was disappointing so went downstairs to the antler room where they did have the audio on...so much better.
Went for dinner before the Leafs Game. Fantastic options for beer if you are a craft beer lover. Pricing for alcohol overall is good for beer - a bit pricey for the wine. Food was good. We ordered the Pickle and Pork App which was good. Felt there could have been a few more pickles for the price. Also ordered the Jalapeno dip which was good. As for mains we ordered the Chicken avocado sandwich, the onion and goat cheese chicken sandwich and the steak frites. Sandwiches came with fries. Food was delicious. Overall a great spot and will definitely visit again.
The service was excellent! Our waitress, I wish I caught her name, was the best. She took perfect care of us!
As always great food and service before Leaf game.
Great Pre-Game ambiance. The perfect stop prior to attending one of the near by sporting events. GO LEAFS GO!!!
Good service and food was relatively inexpensive but typical bar fare.
Excellent food, great service on an extremely busy Good Friday. The only downside was the background music was a bit loud, we all had a hard time hearing our server. We will definitely eat there again.
Perfect location for before or after a Jays game. Very, very busy when I was there so service was a touch slow. Good value
Went prior to Toronto Maple Leaf. Nice and close. Great service and full selection of beers.
I always use the Loose Moose before concerts or sporting events. Unfortunately the server we had(Stacie B on the receipt) was dreadful and ruined this particular experience . She was rushing us from the moment we sat down, the appetizers came out super quick and included my daughter's main meal which had to be sent back. Then the main meals came out before we had a chance to finish the appetizers. We complained about this but to no avail so we just left them to one side and they were cool by the time we got to them. We then ordered another pitcher of beer and she actually rolled her eyes as if we'd asked for something really difficult - I thought bars wanted to sell beer!! We had just received the second pitcher when she started grabbing our plates off the table - I had to grab mine back so I could finish my meal.
I will go to the Loose Moose again but I will be requesting to not sit in Stacie B's section.
My friend ordered the ribs and it came to her RED, the manager apologized and my friend ordered something else but we had all eaten when she got her new meal. They did not even offer her a glass of wine for the inconvenience of having to rush to finish up her meal before we went to the show.
Food and beer was great as usual! Very busy, our server was okay but it was very busy.
I think this is likely a great spot. I made a reservation for 7 long before coming to Toronto for the Pink concert as a pre concert thing. Unfortunately they stuck us way in the back next to the kitchen. I thought we might be cooking our own food. It was a disappointment to say the least. Cut off from all the action. I do think the actual place looked like it was great though.
Great meal. Great service. Great atmosphere. We were about 10 mins late due to traffic and they accommodated is. We would highly recommend.
This is a great place if you enjoy chain dining establishments. The servers were very pretty and wore tiny or tight outfits. The food was just what you would expect - nothing wrong but nothing interesting.
The place was lively with good beer selection. The food was mediocre. I recommend this place for a casual get together. There is music, but not loud enough that you can't carry out a conversation.
I really enjoyed the food. We both got a burger and we started with the guacamole and chips. The service was quick and very attentive. Our waitress told us about specials and we quickly jumped at the opportunity to try a new drink.
Food was great and so was our server. I would recommend this restaurant to friends and we will definitely return again.
very good food, if you sit at the front its not to bad for conversation, the back area is noisy so with a group it would be hard to hear each other. Service was very good, both the hostesses and the waitress we had. Very attentive and friendly. Food arrived quick, was hot and tasted excellent.
The Loose Moose is a great restaurant and has a good combination of craft beers and good food. That is a hard to find combination in an affordable price range.
Great place for pub-fare and variety of drinks. Lots of sports on the TV's and not a big challenge finding a seat...even on a busy Saturday night.
Great food great service. I found this in the "top ten family friendly resturants near Ripleys Aquarium list" on line. Very convenient to walk to from Ripleys. Very friendly staff BUT they are definitely not family friendly. They have ONE booster chair and most of the tables are bar height. AND there is no charge table in the men's room and no family bathroom. It's 2018 people. Dad's have children too. I think the dozen stairs should be considered too. Not too convenient when you have been out for the day and have a stroller with you, I would go there again if the group were adults but it needs to come off the family friendly list for sure
Delicious food! Fast service! Great atmosphere. May be a bit too loud. But still fun!
Food was very subpar. I ordered the chicken BLT and it was essentially a sad little chunk of chicken between two soggy pieces of bread and a dead leaf of a lettuce that cost 15 dollars. Ambiance is sports bar with lots of TVs. Overall fine place for a quick stop if you’re starving and need a burger but otherwise stay clear.
Great food, but found it very cold at the table we were seated at. Had to eat with my coat on.
Great food. Our server was the best. Great experience
Great bar atmosphere and good food menu.. Awesome beer choices. Server had no pulse. I thought she was a walking zombie..no hello or how are we today. Her opening line was DRINKS? She had no desire to be there at all..
We went for dinner before the Leafs game. We did have a reservation for 5:30 but arrived early. We were offered seating at a "community table" instead of waiting for our reserved table. We were fine with that and it worked out great. The restaurant was very busy but the service was quick and the food was very good.
our server Gail was great and very hot great time was had by all
Casual, low- key get-together w friends. Server was fantastic!
There were a couple of hiccups with our order, not a big deal, but they couldn’t have been nicer about it. Mistake was rectified and they offered some freebies to apologize with but we were so stuffed we had no room. They did give us some donuts to go...very yummy.
Would go back again.
Fries too salty!!! Great service though.
Good spot for food and drinks before a game at the ACC. Quick and attentive service. Nachos were delicious.
Booked a table but showed up a bit early. Got seated right away. Greeter was friendly. Server was friendly and knowledgeable about the craft beers. Food was good and hot. Noise level was a bit loud but should not deter anyone from going.
The food was great but our Main server, (the one that took our order and brought the bill) must really hate her job.
There were several others that helped out. They were great.
I had been there before for business and it was great. Brought the family and unfortunately won’t go back
