About The Loose Moose Tap & Grill
Welcome to the new Loose Moose, featuring a brand new menu and the largest draught beer selection in downtown Toronto.
Since pouring our first pint in 1989, a lot has changed at The Loose Moose. And yet, so much has remained the same. Our space is different, but our address isn’t. Our business has grown, but we’re still independent. And now, even with the most draught beers downtown, we’re no beer snobs. Never have been. Never will be.
After all, staying true to yourself is how you make new friends - and keep old ones. Anyone who’s stopped by The Loose Moose to unwind after work, watch the game or make a night of it will tell you the same.

The Loose Moose Tap & Grill Ratings and Reviews
Service from hostest and server was great. Food and drinks came in a timely manner. The only reason it was a great experience is because the food was just ok. We had the mac and chees sandwich and the fish tacos. The fries weren't cooked right. they were really dry and old. The rest of the food was nothing to write home about....just kind of boring and expensive.
Service was very slow. At one point there was 45 min without our server checking on us. Wasn’t packed in there either. Lots of bartenders and few servers. Food was good and ambience was good too...but hard to go back when don’t want to keep your beer glass full
Food was great!! Hostess very nice!!
We were, however, very displeased with our server. She was not pleasant to us and was rushing us out. We were there a total of 45 minutes and had drinks, appetizer and our entrees. There was 3 of us, one was in the bathroom, and the server took our drink orders and wouldn't wait for the one in the bathroom. Then at the end before we even were not our food she brought the bill and at the same time brought the machine... before we could eve look at our bill. She did not make us feel welcome and will be turned off to come back. Couldn't even tell you her name as she didn't introctuce herself. She had long dark brown hair. Thanks
The occasion was a casual night out with friends and we were all happy with the restaurant. It is fairly noisy so not good for a quiet evening or romantic night out. The food was quite good and good selection of craft beer. I had the Mexican salad with chicken and enjoyed it very much. Two others in our group had the fried chicken and one had the jerk chicken. Everybody enjoyed their meal.
Saturday night after a Jays game. In the back of the restaurant the dining room is very dark. Was very loud in there, where you have to really speak up to talk across the table. Service was good and friendly, would of rated higher, but didn't get the right change on one of our bills, paid in cash, so there is no way to verify. Food was good, and was able to get a table reservation a week ahead. Beer selection was great.
Server was great - We brought some exchange students - they enjoyed it - a little Canadiana but not too much - could use this to greater advantage. Everyone liked food. The entry is dreadful - add some lights and something that suggests the inside might actually be interesting.
The food was good value - nothing special but well done and satisfying. Loved the beer selection and the fact you could order small glasses to try them out before ordering a full sized class. Service wss good and unlike many places on the area we could talk without shouting. Will recommend to my friends.
The place has a pretty cool vintage look, lighting is pretty soothing. I was taking my uk friend there along with my boyfriend for dinner, seeing that this place is highly rated. However, I am pretty disappointed about it. The service wasn't bad, the waitress does appear a little unfriendly though. The ribs was ok, but the other 2 dishes we order were pretty off. The salmon was really bland and the spicy mexican bowl was way too salty that it was completely not edible. The experience in general wasn't too pleasant in terms of the price and I don't think I will come back for it anytime soon.
