The restaurant is beautifully designed and the location is great. We have been there 2 times, and each time, we had really poor service. Items from our orders were missing and foods did not come out at the same time. When they finally arrived, they were cold. The manager gave us some discount the first time, but this time no one was responsive enough to hear what we had to say. For a restaurant in North Loop, it was far from tasteful to have creamer-cups!! Why not pour cream in a creamer and present it. No spoon, few sugar packets, no ketchup, coffee was either cold or too bitter. It felt we had to ask for every single item. Food, if not cold, is good. But we are not going back because of poor service.
Service, music, and food were excellent. I would definitely go back.
Was there on a Friday for a 40th b-day celebration. Service was very slow (although it was a Friday, so maybe not a surprise, but haven't had that issue with other restaurants in North Loop). Food was excellent, drinks were great. Didn't receive much attention from our server (e.g. waters were never refilled, no acknowledgement if they were super busy to account for the slow/lacking service).
Not a place for a special occasion - but fine for a regular dinner/drinks if you're not in a rush. Again, food was excellent, but service was very much lacking.
It was great overall! I love coming here and will come back. We had an issue with some food being cold, but we came in for late night eats so we expected that. We sent it back and they replaced it.
Very Attentive service, decent food. Only complaints are that it was very loud and my bf's cocktail drink was not good. Bit pricey for the food we got.
I didn’t realize they were open for weekday breakfast and it was surprisingly good with lots of veggie options!
Waitress was absolutely wonderful! And the blackened quinoa salad is to die for!
Remodeled restaurant and updated menu since our last visit. Excellent food and service; will return soon!
It was a busy afternoon with the Vikings in town and the place was crowded, the waitress forgot a couple things and had to be reminded. The food was good but the loopy juicy was raw in the middle. The chicken sandwich was good and we enjoyed the fries. All in all it was a fun atmosphere before the game.
Drinks were outrageously overpriced and service was meh. Not likely to return.
Took 10+ minutes to even be greeted/seated. Food is good for a bar.
The breakfast was delicious, especially the blueberry pancakes!
Food was good. Noise level way too high if you don't want to shout.
The recent renovation has really brightened the space. A few TVs have been removed to lessen the sports bar vibe. The revamp of the menu to include breakfast was really well done. The breakfast menu is a real winner. A lot of options without feeling overwhelming. Fried Chicken and biscuits were excellent.
Way too loud and understaffed for the Vikings game, but the servers did the best they could.
We went for brunch pre-Vikings game and got a great private spot for our larger group. Great location, service (fast and courteous) , yummy food. Not that crowded which surprised us. Recognize it would be a great place to watch a game as well......super bar seating and tv's
Great atmosphere and food.
Service was good, food outstanding, loved the building/decor and all the tv's. It was loud (feels like your at a club) but we enjoyed it. The loop burger is delicious! Will definitely be back!
Date night with my husband and the food and service were great. I had the chicken salad with mashed black bean, cilantro, veggies and it was wonderful. My husband had the hummas plate and it was quite big with lots of pita bread and veggies. Yum!
BY FAR THE BEST BAR IN THE NORTH LOOP! Wonderful food, bar and sports viewing experience. Newly renovated and a hot spot in Minneapolis!
Really liked everything about this place except it was pretty spendy. Went during happy hour and had 3 cocktails and a sandwich w/fries for dinner and spent $50. Cool spot with good food but overpriced.
Great experience with a group of eight. Would enjoy visiting again.
My spouse and I went to the loop on a whim for some Sunday brunch-wonderful decision! The drinks were fantastic and the food was also delicious-absolutely no complaints at all. Will be visiting again soon!
went there for a quick brunch.....wonderful as always
Best fresh fried donuts I've had in a looooong time!! Also, their French toast bake is nothing to shake a stick at! Would recommend to any brunch buffet lover.
5 of us went for Mothers Day brunch and it was great! My in laws had never been and seemed to LOVE their options. 5 of us had the brunch including a few cocktails and the bill was less then $120.00. Everyone Beas full for the rest of the day. I can definitely recommend the brunch. It includes prime rib, delicious omelettes, pastries, fresh fruit, salads. waffles and delicious sides. Kids are welcome.
The food was fantastic and great service. It was during a hockey game so the TV was a bit loud, but understandably so! Great experience!
The tacos were amazing! Really good carnitas and pico de gallo
We wanted an affordable option for brunch nearby (we live in NE Mpls) this place was great. The food was very good - omelette and prime rib were cooked JUST right and the fruit was really fresh.
Brunch for 2 adults and 2 kids (4 drinks) will run you right around $100.00 after tax and tip.
My Old Fashioned was good, Fiance's Margherita was not. Had Boneless wings that seemed to be overcooked, couldn't get a fork in them... Buffalo wontons were delicious!
Decent brunch buffet. Friendly service. Was able to make a reservation online but showed up to no host and an open seating situation at the restaurant.
Great North Loop restaurant. Good place to have dinner and drinks before a show at the ACME Comedy Club.
Enjoyed Sunday Brunch at the Loop, it was a great time with friends. It was quiet on Sunday morning when they opened at 10. The food was fresh and the omelets made-to-order.
Definitely more of a loud sports bar (lots of TVs) than I was expecting or hoping. But the food was good and the service was outstanding.
The atmosphere was perfect for the occasion, but the large booths are actually pretty terrible for a group of 7 trying to have any amount of conversation. I ordered the same drink 3 times and each time it came out a little different, and I'm not sure what that was all about. However, the food was great... Definitely a step up from typical bar food. We had a variety of apps, salads, and burgers, and all of us were pleased.
Shout out to Jeremy Birr for being a boss bouncer.
The loop was very accommodating and saved a large booth for my birthday group, even when I called to let them know we'd be running late!
We had horrible service for the first half of our visit. Our server claimed she was slammed, but the restaurant wasn't very full and she seemed to have enough time to stop and chat with her other tables. We could see our beers and drinks waiting on the bar and we easily waited 15 minutes for our first round of drinks. They were out of TWO of the stouts on their tap list. My friend's burger arrived well after everyone else's food and his plate was set down without so much as an apology. The server's attitude eventually changed, but I always think an apology is free, so why not apologize when something goes wrong? It is unlikely I'll be returning to The Loop.
Our experience was extremely frustrating. We had made a reservation for a large group online but when we arrived the entire restaurant was "seat yourself" so we had to scramble to pull a bunch of tables together to fit out group. When I informed the wait staff of the issue they didn't offer any help.
The seemed severely understaffed as service was slow and the brunch buffet had limited options (and average taste) for the price.
