Great food. Nice service. Beautiful venue
We enjoy dining out on the patio, though it is first come/first serve regardless of reservations. Indoor seating is quite nice too.
Our waiter was okay. Not terribly attentive, but everything else from our beverages to our food was terrific.
Stopped in with my son had the wings, a burger, and a steak sandwich with a couple of beers. The food and service were terrific.
Dinner was excellant, Service was great and so was the atmosphere. My wife and I enjoyed a very casual dinner celebrating Saint Patrick's Day. I had a very nice veal dish and she had corn beef sliders. We also ordered wings which were very good.
The pub is not what we t used to be. Kitchen service has gone down hill. Dressing on salads are forgotten, wings are brought with the wrong sauce, lemonade served so weak it might as well be water. On a Friday at a time we went the place used to be almost full. Now you can pretty much pick your table.
Was my second time here, this is where my girlfriend and I came for our first date so we came back this Valentine's Day two years later. The food and service was outstanding. I had lobster ravioli that was really phenomenal, and that isn't the easiest dish to do right.
We live locally and love to patronize the LVBP. The atmosphere is quaint and warm. Lunch food and salads are generally better than dinner items that sometimes miss the mark. We have been coming here for 20 years and do notice a difference in the establishment over time. We do love the restaurant and it's historic charm, and usually come here once or twice a month, and more often in the warmer months.
Food was good. Short ribs sauteed a little too long. Duck was tasty but chewy. Will try again. Waiter was nowhere to be seen half the time. Dinner arrived before we had a chance to order our wine, after finishing our cocktail.
Another fun visit to one of our favorite long valley hotspots. Great apps, drinks and dessert! This place is like Cheers! Everyone knows your name!
Each of us in our party of 4 enjoyed their meal. Menu has grown and improved since our last visit a few years ago. Will definitely be back. Such a cozy, casual setting!
The food was out of this world and our server was so nice. We will definitely be coming back!
Good American food. Ambiance good but noisy, normal for a pub/brewery. Would definitely go back.
Haven't been here in awhile. The menu is much better and the food was delicious!
Food is good...always a little loud. Service was quick even though large party took up most of 1st floor.
Friday night 630pm early reservation, tons of tables along the windows open, yet we were seated 2 feet from the kitchen. Crammed in to the point the next table had to shimmy their table over. Made no sense. Won't be going back any time soon. Food average at best. Total thumps down.
They need to write the drink order down..none of them where right!! Two of our dinner's where very bad.. would never go there again..
Had been waiting to go here for awhile. Was kind of disappointed. The beer was mediocre, the food was OK, but the French fries were super greasy, which at a pub is a sin. The service was totally subpar, pleasant but we waited a long time. Maybe they were having an off night so I will totally try it again, as everyone deserves a second chance, but this review is based solely on this one experience.
Must admit I was a bit disappointed this time. We generally only visit LVBP once/year to coincide with a fall trip to Hacklebarney State Park. This year the beer selection was somewhat limited (no pumpkin) and the menu was not as varied as prior years.
The food was still good, the beer that was available was still nice, and the service was excellent.
Picked the spot to meet friends. Service was a bit slow but OK considering we were catching up.
Great building, nice view, nice outdoor seating, good beer, good food at a reasonable price. Make reservations if you're going on a Saturday night.
Great place with outdoor seating
Good food and great service
Nice home brewed beer selection
This is the second time in a row now that I have experienced terrible service. The first time was about 6 weeks ago in August and it was not very busy. It was a weekday. This time it was a busy Sunday lunch. The waiter took forever taking our order and then forever bringing our food. When we got our food, half of it was cold. Our beer glasses were empty. While my burger was actually pretty good I didn't appreciate the cold french fries and another 20 minute wait to bring me more fries that were not quite cooked. I complained to the manager who said she was going to check on our orders and then never came back. We wound up getting a free lunch but I have been coming here for years and I was embarrassed that I brought my friend there for the first time. Very disappointed.
Have been there with a few and also a group before, never disappointed !
My husband and I dined here for our Friday night date. What a delightful surprise. We enjoyed good beverages, delicious foods and terrific ambiance. We dined outside because the evening was lovely. My husband enjoyed delicious clams with a side of pasta. This accommodation our waiter made for him since there was not a clam/pasta dish. I had one of the best French dip sandwiches! We will be back to try other foods on the menu and try dining inside, which looked lovely too.
Food was great . Service was fab!! Shane was very attentive.
I had made a reservations for a party of 6 for my wife's birthday, when we arrived they did not have a table available and told me another party had been sitting in our table for 2 hours and had not left yet. Yet, when asked why they did not prepare another table in preparation of our arrival, they did not have an answer
Love the food! It really is a neighborhood gem. There's something for everyone on the menu and quality of food is very good.
The old stone barn is charming. The waitress was attentive and apologetic for the translucent, undercooked shrimp, which was returned to the kitchen. The burger was ordered medium and came rare. The over-dressed salad and wilted lettuce were tolerated but not enjoyed. The beer was excellent.
If we ever go back, it will just be for a beer. Too bad, because the brewpub location and historic building were a real draw.
Charming place inside and very nice outdoor seating. Food was tasty and the service was good.
Service was great. Great place to have a tasty german fare or a lighter meal. And their beer always good.
Ok,.. the port chop was a little on the tough side
Upon arriving there were at least six open tables outside tables of four or more we were a party of two we were informed the wait would be 45 minutes for outside because they're holding the bigger tables for larger parties that might show up After eating inside we left and found at least 8 to 10 tables now available outside our whole point of going there was to eat outside we were told those tables are only for parties of four or more and that we could not have one we were told this is the policy of the owner after eating average at best food and being told we couldn't have a table that sad empty the entire time we were there I would have to say I would not recommend this place to anyone average food at best and a policy that I believe is ridiculous the policy will keep us from ever going there again and I would recommend not going to this establishment
Service was great the waitress was a sweet heart food was ok.
The outdoor bar had the friendliest bartenders that made for a really fun time. When we went inside for dinner again the staff was friendly and the food was great. It was an all around great time.
The food was great. We got to sit outdoors on a nice night. It couldn't have been much better.
We visited the Long Valley Pub and Brewery several times and wanted to return, adding variety to our dining out. The service is always great; nice people, friendly, and super accommodating. Hubby had the filet mignon which was cooked perfectly, and I had the salmon. Again, the food was delicious, generous portions and accompaniments were geared to the dishes. Great food for a very fair price.
Food was subpar at best. Service horrible (Luz). One server continued to yell across the tables to other servers. If we hadn't had the lovely ambiance of being outside we wouldn't have stayed. Will not be returning. Oh and they do not offer their brunch anymore.
The food and service were both great. The outdoor bar on a warm spring or summer evening is a great way to spend some time.
Another excellent experience, had dinner with friends. The food specials and on-site crafted beer were great. Our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and professional and we were not rushed.
Food was Delicious, prices were reasonable for the exceptional quality! Everyone in our party was happy! Service was very friendly!
Another great dinner at one of our favorite long valley hotspots. Kicked off warm weather with an outside table on an end of April Friday night with apps, drinks and desert!
