Really nice experience overall will definitely return for a meal or a drink. Nice atmosphere, varied menu and good TV set up. Higher end on the Irish Pub scale
It's always a pleasure when We go to eat and hang out😀
The food was delicious. The service was also excellent, very (but not overly) attentive. We had theatre tickets and the service was efficient for our time constraints.
We had a reservation and the host brought us right back to our table. Good selection of entrees and appetizers. Excellent value for Manhattan. My wife and I don’t drink, but without cocktails our portion of the bill including tip was only 54.00, reasonable price for dinner out anywhere yet alone Manhattan!! Will definitely revisit the Long Room next time we’re in Manhattan
I love this restaurant but the waitress we had this time was horribly inattentive. Barely brought Out our food and then didn’t give us catch up for any condiments for our french fries, etc. I will come back but I hope I never have that waitress again
Hi Holly, Thanks for your review! We expect all of our staff to always give a 5 star customer experience and I apologize this was not the case on your visit. I will be sure to follow up with the server and will do better next time! Best, Tara
On Valentines Day we were greeted with complimentary champagne (and a chocolate treat at the end of our meal). The menu is varied and interesting! Great beer selection. Our waitresses, Sarah and Shaunaugh, gave us white glove service throughout our meal. It’s actually our second visit to the Long Room and will not be the last! Great place to dine before a show!
The Long Room is my go-to spot if I find myself in midtown and need lunch or a quick dinner. Good drink selection, tasty and comforting pub fare, and the staff is just fantastic. I met an old friend for lunch, and they let us sit and chat for another hour after the bill was paid - just left us to enjoy our conversation. It's a great spot.
Great place for a quick meet up! The drinks are reasonably priced and the burgers are amazing!
A very nice spot to dine with a warm, casual vibe - we were greeted at the door by our Hostess with a big smile - it's obvious she enjoys her job! Our server, Lauren, was extremely pleasant and efficient - she made several menu suggestions which we did order and thoroughly enjoyed! Desserts were beautifully presented with slices of fresh fruit on the side - a nice touch . We were in no way rushed for the table - comfortable, relaxed and friendly place! Also, the list of beer was extensive! :)
Love this place! Go for lunch and after work drinks and always friendly and attentive service. Their burgers are amazing, great salads too. Would imagine it's a great pre-theater spot too with the location. Never had a bad experience here.
Although it was a Saturday afternoon and we were visiting the city to see Bryant Park and the tree at Rockefeller Center, I made a reservation which wasn’t needed as there were open tables. Our initial server who took our order memorized everything without writing it down. Shortly after the food came. After that she must have changed to the front room and no one checked on us. We had to stop someone to get water refills. Someone took our plates but was assigned a larger party and the table next to us but never once asked if there was anything else we wanted. I had to go ask our server for our check who first took our order. She apologized. We paid and left.
The Long Room was SO welcoming on a crazy busy day during the holiday season. The food and service were excellent. The vibe was exactly what we were looking for. Fun and festive. It's a gorgeous place as well. Cozy and spotless clean. Definitely going back!
Charming Irish pub with comfortable ambiance and great food.
Unfortunately they could not find our reservation and when they did finally find it they had it for 2 hours earlier than the time of our reservation. They had to squeeze us in and informed us that we would need to be done in time to accommodate another reservation. Kind of a disappointment.
Decent enough pub. Food was pretty good and the staff were friendly. Would recommend here if you’re in the area.
Great service, great food and fun environment. Fun place to grab a quick lunch in midtown Manhattan.
Always a good lunch spot for a quick bite for business or personal.
The food was delicious and our server was lovely. It looks like we found a new restaurant to add to our NYC rotation.
Server kept asking for our order while we were having a drink and deciding. After choosing appetizers, she then can by repeatedly asking for main course. We kept asking her to come back. She returned several times. In the end, we ordered to stop her asking and of course, the main courses came while we were eating the apps. Now we have a very crowded table top and a very rushed lunch. Not enjoyable.
Hi Jack, Thanks so much for taking the time to review and I apologize that your server made you feel rushed to order. I will make sure to address this issue with our servers so it does not occur again. Hope to see you back again soon! Best, Tara - GM
Great variety of food, awesome brie/fig jam grilled cheese, excellent margarita and service from Dee was outstanding
Food was reasonably priced and tasty
The long bar was different then most. Had a nice table reserved for the 2 of us.
From the ice cold beer to the delicious food and casual ambience, the Long Room is a great place to relax, have a nosh and a couple drinks before a show, or exploring the Times Square area.
Reliably good food. Good ambiance. Great location.
Delicious pub food, great atmosphere, and wonderful service. Can't wait to visit again.
We had a mini family reunion prior to a matinee across the street. I will say, it was quite empty considering the proximity to the theater. Maybe it was too early for the typical Broadway crowd. We arrived early and there were no issues accommodating us. The service staff was quite attentive from beginning to end. There were no complaints about any of the food. Our waitress took a group pic before we left.
Enjoyed our last few visits to The Long Room. Comfortable atmosphere - good service - really enjoy the comfort food. No pretense - just a reliable place for some food, a drink, and conversations with friends. Recommended!
Went with a small group prior to going to the theater. The Scottish decor was welcoming on a cold February day. The wait staff was attentive. Everyone in our party had something different and we all enjoyed it from the tuna bowl, steak bowl, salmon entree, chicken sliders and turkey burger. We started off with the warm pretzel which came with two sauces and was large enough to share. Couldn't pass up dessert. Cheesecake and chocolate cake were delicious. We sat at table high seating. But much of the seating is bar height. Recommended it to friends that were dining after the show.
Hi Mary, Thanks so much for your wonderful review and I'm so glad everyone enjoyed their meals! Hope to see you back again soon. Best, Tara - GM
Great appetizer selection to share. Food is of good quality for what you are paying. Typically quick service allows you to get in and out during lunch hour.
Great food. Good time!
Great service, best beef stew ever! Although it was loud, we were a party of 7 and sat in the back and could talk. Love this place!
Delicious food with wonderful vegetarian options, upscale pub ambiance, great service, one of our favorite places to go in the Times Square/Broadway area!
Reserved a standard table and received a high top. Otherwise, an excellent experience.
This place is good for a quick bite or a casual business meeting over lunch.
My wife was cold in front of door, after asking a couple servers we asked the hostess and she and the manager changed our table. Very accommodating and very appreciated!
We did Thanksgiving Day dinner and it was great and reasonably priced.
Servers were very friendly and accomodating. Food was delish
Great experience! Loved the fun atmosphere and steak sandwich. It’s the perfect place to grab a bite before a play.
I took a chance on the restaurant since I never had heard of it but, the menu looked good. I didn’t realize it was St. Andew’s. The people I brought loved it!
