Great food and service. Nice wine selection
The Loft was a fun atmosphere to catch up with our friends we haven't seen in a while. Food was good, drinks were good and the service was awesome. We saw the magic show after dinner. It was definitely a cool evening.
Never been to an Italian style restaurant that served no bread before or with dinner? Who eats pasta with no bread? Food was marginal at best, and my son was still starving after finishing his sad little entree and we had to get him something from the kids menu to hold him over since another $25 plate of subpar ravioli was OUT of the question. Expensive for what you get and a Super weird vibe in there too. Won't be back.
Dinner was delicious. The drinks were really good. Cocktails were different than your average cocktail so they are very creative in their drink and food menu. Great service also. We went to dinner before the magic show which was also a fun thing to do. I would definitely return to eat dinner or just drink and eat apps.
Dinner was fabulous. Had hoped to see wondering magicians. Only disappointment because we didn’t have time to go to the show.
We went for the new Sunday Gospel brunch and thoroughly enjoyed it! The food was good, a decent variety of items in the buffet. Had the bottomless mimosas:). The live music was awesome!
Had a Great night! The food was delicious!
While the food and the service were ok, this place was nothing to write home about. Better tasting food can be found in other local places for the price. Ordered steak gorgonzola. Stated steak served on cheese tortellini with an alfredo goronzola sauce. Came on penne with a water alfredo and gorgonzola sprea on the steak. Favor was ok but disappointed. Also, this is an italian reataurant and there was no bread served with the meal. For the price I expected more and better.
We celebrated my daughter’s birthday there. The adults and kids enjoyed themselves. Great fun! Lisa
Food was very tasty! Service was outstanding!!
Went for our anniversary and they were very accommodating. Stayed for the Magic Fusion show with Robert Hall-worth it!
We had a delicious meal and fine service. We were celebrating an anniversary and the celebrating couple was treated to a tasty dessert on the house!
This is our 2nd time to The Loft and the food was excellent, once again. The magic show is also a MUST if you're going to be here. Great evening for us and our guests.
We had a wonderful time and enjoyed sharing raviolis. The cheese and soup appetizer was also delicious. Our server was new, but he did an awesome job! Thanks!
The food was fantastic! our servers Scott and Jess we're both incredibly accommodating, polite, and professional.
Love the food and the service and show after was awesome
A great hidden gem. Very limited seating gives the restaurant an intimate and cozy atmosphere. Our waitress was welcoming and extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend for a date night.
One of our 3 favorite restaurants in Tahoe. The Shrimp Scampi is something I keep ordering every time we're here, and I'm not even much of a pasta fan. The Smores are an instant hit for the kids and make for a great kickoff for tickets to the Magic Show immediately after dinner. If you have a family or you're just looking for a live show, you can't beat the Loft.
Great place for dinner and drinks. Amazing staff took really good care of us.
We had a wonderful time. Our food had great flavor and was fresh. The six of us seemed to be very happy with salads and entrees. Only a couple of minor mentions a little too dark at table 1 trying to read menus and wall behind us was angled so had to move table out so heads didn't hit. Not a big deal. The food, cocktails and wine list selection was very good and not overpriced. The Magic show was a lot of fun. Second time seeing the show and enjoyed it once again. Magician is amazing. The Magician knows a lot of people have been skiing all day then eat and drink so he was good about keeping the crowd engaged when they are getting tired at a 9pm show. Love that The Loft is conveniently located next to the Marriott. We will visit again. Thank you
Hidden gem in South Lake Tahoe! A little pricey but has a great seasonal cocktail menu. My dad and I really enjoyed our waiter's recommendations. Would recommend for anyone looking for a nicer dinner in South Lake Tahoe without committing to a steakhouse.
Had great meal. Seen a very good show.
We went for the magic show and the s’mores afterwards.
Ambience is perfect for a dinner date.
Great food & service! Magic show was fun!
Amazing hip vibe in heavenly village. Hilarious magic show. Delicious food, games, and S’MORES on the fire...
Brilliantly executed and very relaxing. Lounge, dining area, and intimate theater all separate but adjacent.
Highly recommend to make reservations as the restaurant does get get busy. Timing your reservation before one of the shows is ideal so plan well in advance.
My wife and I really enjoyed the experience. Our server, Scott, made some great recommendations. We had the grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato bisque as an appetizer. My wife had the shrimp scampi and I had the beef tenderloin with tortellini. Both were excellent. Great service. It is an open area, so it was quite loud, but tolerable.
Service was great! The server we had was very nice and not pushy. She was knowledgeable about the food and had wonderful recommendations.
Great food & service.
Way over priced. Waitress wasnt happy. Food was good.
The hostess wanted to sit us at a high top table in the bar stating the table was for 4.
She sat us and saw other twosomes set at tables after we were seated.
Having dinner with family and the going to the Comedy/Magic show
Our waitress was very friendly, providing drink and food recommendations.
Staff and food was beyond our expectations!! Our waitress Katheryn was attentive and helpful. Atmosphere was excellent. Great chef and excellent food choices.
Our server Scott Hamilton was wonderful and friendly he made the evening very fun.
Nice quiet authentic Italian food in a quiet light atmosphere.
Excellent service & conversation with our waitress. She went over & beyond to explain & talk to us about the menu items, wines etc...loved the trivia games there!
It was very nice, only one complaint. When we were almost done they had a Dj setting up and they basically told us we had to leave or pay $10. Why would we pay $10 each when we just spend over $100 on dinner. It was very annoying. Overall the food, atmosphere, were very fun.
Birthday celebration before the Magic Show...................................
I would recommend as an easy evening before going into the magic show but not for a BD celebration. The waiter was great, but there was a long wait before we were even acknowledged. The table we were given in a back very dark corner had a slanted ceiling, so it was a bit uncomfortable. When we came with reservations, there were other tables we could sit at but were not offered. Each time our candle burned out we grabbed others off the tables for light and ambiance. No employees one seemed to care. No one in my family wanted to speak up as they were trying to make it a positive, happy 60th celebration for me. I'm usually the one who has to speak up, but I was trying to be a good sport for all their effort. So there you go.... could have easily been better.
Probably will never eat here again. Sat next to a family of five and the three children were loud, unruly and crawled all over the seats. Ruined or evening.
Very nice dinner after the great magic show . S'mores dessert is fantastic and the live jazz was great
