The Loft - Tahoe
Remember to try one of our famous table-side S’more Fire Pits for dessert!
Dining at the restaurant is separate from our shows.
The food was amazing. We had the butternut squash tortellini and the Chuken Picatta. We recommend both plates. We had dinner and after dinner attended the Magic Show located in the same floor as the restaurant. He service was A+. Will come back again next time we visit Lake Tahoe.
Great service! Portions are smaller but delicious. All the entrees come atop pasta. Not a spot for gluten free. On Friday night they had a DJ. Hard to climb the stairs to get to the dining room - they make you work for it!
Great for our 9th anniversary! Would recommend to friends and visitors.
In general we enjoyed our dinner at the Loft. The food was good, the tiramisu was excellent, and service was very good. The only thing I would have preferred was different (and I realize this is a personal preference) was that the room was very dark. I prefer a little brighter dining experience. In general though, we had a lovely dinner for four in celebration of my husband’s birthday.
The food was awesome. A bit pricey but worth it. Staff was awesome and attentive. The atmosphere was great. A nice place for a romantic date or a group outing with friends.
We have eaten here prior and enjoyed it. This time the dining room was very cold. Only two other tables seated for dinner and all were complaining it was uncomfortably cold. The servings were significantly smaller than our last visit. Honestly the Picatta was about 3 ounces of chicken - $27.
Terrible food. Did not receive several menu items we ordered. Waiter said he was too busy. Drinks were weak.
Will not be returning and will share our experience with others.
We had the chicken picatta and butternut squash tortelloni. Both were delicious. The tiramisu was different from any I've had previously; that said, DELICIOUS!
Had dinner here before the magic show. Off season in the village so quiet and intimate for dinner. Katherine provided exceptional service and the food was 5 star worthy. Highly recommended.
The best food we had during our 2 week stay at Lake Tahoe. Keep up the great work! We split a Caesar Salad and Chicken Piccata. The way each of these dishes was prepared, was excellent. I highly recommend!
Not really a "restaurant", more of a bar with very good food. Almost all of the tables are high-tops so not a "dining" experience. Server was very good and food was very good, however
We celebrated a birthday here last month. Our waiter was top notch- friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The place is decorated in a very modern style, which is cool, but it was so dark we couldn't read our menus. We were also seated right next to another large group which made it quite noisy. This was strange since the entire place was empty at the time except for our two parties. The food was outstanding. Everyone commented on how great their selection was. Overall, it was a unique experience with excellent service and cuisine. The atmosphere could use some tweaking to make it more comfortable.
The Loft was fabulous, our server Scott was the best waiter I think we ‘ve ever had. We will definitely be back
Our greeter (from Poland) was warm and welcoming. We enjoyed our waitress- that’s where the pleasures stopped. While the “toasted cheese and tomato soup” appetizer was served promptly and hot... the caesar salad was overdressed and mini croutons appeared to be from mass packaging. The rosemary bread was served hot, but the olive oil/balsamic/garlic tasted rancid (bitter)... so say (3) people. Out of the three different pasta dishes ordered, (lasagne, shrimp/angel hair and chicken pesto), all were over-cooked and over sauced. A second visit is unlikely.
Excellent ambiance, food and show. The sauce is awesome and we thoroughly enjoyed the show and interaction.
Great cocktails, good food (even a kids menu), and the small magic theater is great for a close personal show. Lounge also has some games to play and nice fire centerpieces on the tables.
3 year Anniversary
magic show was excellent
Hidden gem, great food and service. Have to try the s’mores for dessert
My grandchildren and I ate at the Loft after the magic show. The chicken piccata was amazing. They altered mine to be gluten free. After dinner we enjoyed cooking our own smores at the table. It was so much fun.
Wonderful service and our server was outstanding, cheerful, energetic and so friendly.
Food was excellent and the darker lighting added to the great ambiance.
If you go, get the s’mores!!!
The staff were wonderful and polite. Food was delicious. Had the wild boar cannellini and butternut squash ravioli w/ walnut and brown sage sauce.
Dessert was ok. Had the limoncello ale mode and chocolate tort. Both were simple but good. The s'mores was by far the highlight of the dessert. Tonnes of fun and a crowd pleaser
We ate here before seeing Magic Fusion! Both the restaurant and the show were excellent! Show was perfect for the whole family and restaurant was amazing for the adults, and ok for the kids. We had a party of nine and all the adults LOVED their meal...kids were a little more picky, but found something they liked! We will definitely be back next year when we visit Lake Tahoe!
Great time at The Loft with family for dinner and Magic show. Recommend both when visiting S Lake Tahoe
Food, Service (Todd), ambience, cocktails. EXCELLENT !
Great time! Great service and excellent food! Magic show was also very entertaining and funny. I do Recommend!
Excellent magic show and dinner was awesome. Highly recommended. We really enjoyed spending
Our anniversary here. Everything was wonderful. Thank you.
Food was exceptional! All fresh ingredients.
Authentic Italian cuisine. The wine list had a great selection.
Our waiter was Todd who treated us like gold.
All of his suggestions and knowledge really made our meal that much more enjoyable.
It’s cozy and lounge like setting was so inviting.
I would highly recommend The Loft!
Thank you for such an amazing experience.
I loved the drinks and the free glass of wine with check in with Yelp. The grilled cheese and tomato soup shooters were amazing. Maybe a little less veggies on veggie lasagna. AMAZING!!!!!
We arrived early for our reservation and the lovely hostess was able to seat us within 5 minutes. After that the service was non-existent. Worst service ever!
We sat for 15 minutes without a single hello, an offer for water or be asked if we'd like to order a drink. We then watched other patrons sit after us, immediately get water and be asked if they would like to order drinks.
After another 5 minutes with no service we decided to leave. We told the hostess what had happened but all she could say was she was so sorry. I would have thought she'd at least ask if we would like to speak to the manager.
The food was fresh! The chicken piccata was so good. The chicken was tender but not over-cooked. Nothing I had seemed like it had been prepared 2-3 hours before. I felt like everything cooked and uncooked had been prepared just for us! The salads were beautiful and fresh. The sauce on the chicken piccata was fresh. The drinks were great.
The only thing that I might recommend is that it was a little warm where we were sitting but in the restaurant's defense, it had been a very warm day. Perhaps the AC hadn't caught up yet.
Not enough tables to many high tops great service they found us a table
Great vibe, not too busy. Food was good and we had fun making s’mores at our table. We also decided to stay for trivia night in the lounge after dinner. We would definitely go back!
The food was amazing
Excellent customer service and outstanding food selection.
Food was not acceptable to most guests but the server and service were outstanding. They replaced a different dish but based on the first dish served, cheese ravioli, we couldn't enjoy the second choice.
Good food and reasonable prices for being in the heart of South Lake Tahoe.
Good food and drinks before the magic show with the entire family. We would go again!
The food was average. I would go for drinks and appetizers but not dinner. The food was very bland.
Ate at the Loft as a dinner theater starter- cool & hip atmosphere with excellent service. Nice menu, and convenient for the show. Delicious fod as well! A great find - you won't be disappointed..
