Great food and service, definitely recommend this place! Live music started around 8:00. Only downside was we had a very tiny table that barely fit 2 menus, so we didn’t have much room for drinks, plates & food. Would be nice if they had a slightly larger table for two.

It's been a while so nice to be back. Our daughter ordered the butter pasta. My wife ordered the mojito and I ordered the Horizon. We shared the Ahi Tuna Ceviche, Duck Tacos, Brussel Sprouts, Chicken Skewers, Elk Tenderloin, and Chocolate Trio. Our server was friendly and professional.

The Loft is a unique dining experience. The Bison Carpaccio was amazing. I had the lamb chops that could not have been any better, tender and delicious. A friend had the Elk another had the filet mignon and bother were very pleased with the food.

Our “Have To” place to eat when in South Lake Tahoe! My FAV would have to be the lamb chops w/sweet potato mash and tomato bisque soup… THEN, save room for desert, b/c the S’mores right at your table Is A MUST!!!

The food was very tasty. Our order included the tomato bisque, pork cheek, and gnocchi all of which I would highly recommend. The fettucinni and seafood risotto were a bit lackluster. Our server was very attentive. We also had tickets for the magic show after dinner which I would also highly recommend, and they allow you to order drinks to take into the show right at The Loft. Cool spot in Lake Tahoe!

You can see the dust flying underneath the lights. Plates had food on it and my clams were not cleaned properly. The bus boy was really good constantly filling the water but didn’t get some of drinks until I asked. And wasn’t a mixed drink it was apple juice and cranberry juice. Food was over priced and only mediocre.

Our meal was FANTASTIC …. Literally every bite was delicious and we ended up order 2 more tapas plates based on how good the first 4 were. We arrived ten minutes early for our 7pm reservation. It was our first day in town and we were still feeling out where things were and how long it took to get there. When we told the host we had arrived we got a snarky reply about being ten minutes early! Not cool. We planned to have a tapas meal because that’s what most of the menu is. Our server was clearly spread pretty thin because we saw him rarely. The kitchen was painfully slow with a dish or two coming out maybe every 15-20 minutes. Keep in mind these are small plates with just a few bites on each. Most of the time half the table ate while the other half watched…waiting. Our server did not deliver the food and did not check if we were actually receiving what we ordered either. Two things we ordered never came and the server never bothered to take them off the bill until we called it to his attention to do so. Thumbs down on this one.

We went there on a Tuesday night and the service was so slow, especially for the food. Our server was new and I don't think it was her fault at all, but the food took forever to come out of the kitchen. We waited at least 30 minutes for one of our 8 items to be served. Also, the drinks took quite a while to be served without an explanation or apology.

We are visiting on vacation and definitely recommend doing this one night. We really enjoyed this place! very intimidate. The staff was very welcoming and nice. Our tapas plates came out fast and we couldn’t have enjoyed them more! I love the experience of dinner then a show. Up close and personal magic is so fun to enjoy for all ages.
