I’ve been a fan of the loft for years and this was my first Valentine’s Day menu. Four courses and it was amazing. I highly recommend it if you want a great night out with friends and family.

Service was wonderful here as was the wine, and it was cute up in the loft. The menu, however, seemed somewhat limited and not very interesting. There were no specials. I might return for a quick bite or drink but probably not for dinner.

Excellent food. Had Prawn pesto gnocchi and my daughter had the filet mignon. Both were delicious.

We would have left.

From the moment my date and I walked in — completely ignored by staff — we traded knowing glances daring each other to make a move for the door. We should have left. I mean, this is America. We have free will. This is a capitalist society and businesses that don't live up to muster don't stay in business long. How bad could it be?

We could have left.

After a group of four vacated their table in the bar to go upstairs, we were told we could take their spot. Still ignored, menu-less, we wondered out-loud (although unable to hear each other over the cacophony at the bar) about what was in store for us. We sat for what felt like an eternity until the waitress brought over menus. Judging by the way a dried and crunchy dollop of pesto coated the wine list on the back of the menu, I had an intuition that the pesto dish might be popular.

We should have left.

If you're considering this place, take my advice and take a hard pass. There are plenty of places within walking distance that have better service, better wine lists and better food.

Lovely service and bountiful entrees. Good food and honest drinks! Would return again and again.

Very nice waitress. In spite of the fact that they were out of 3 chosen items, in a monday night, our second choices were all fabulous.
Enjoyable in all ways

Our server was outstanding and very attentive. The food was quite good but took an incredibly long time just to get apps. The down side was the seeting in the front along side the entrence and bar is way to tight. There is not enogh room to allow people through to the entrance and other customers and staff will continually run into your back all night long. If you get seated heresit in these seats with your back to the bar, you will be consistantly bumped and interupted through out your dinner. That added to the noise level up front made for a no good very bad date night.

We had a reservation and were seated in a reasonable amount of time. Even though there were open tables we were seated right next to two other people. We felt like we were practically sitting on top of them. After ordering our food our server did not return to our table for a long time before bringing our drinks. We also watched other people seated after us served their food. Finally the food arrived with the salad and main course arriving at the same time! The food was average. The service throughout the meal was poor. When we paid the bill we asked for a receipt which we finally got tired of waiting for and so we left. I generally do not write poor reviews but in this case it was just too many things that didn’t go right. We probably won’t return.

A group of 6 of us had dinner reservations at 6:00 pm on a Wednesday. One of us arrived early and ordered some appetizers at about 5:50. The 2 appetizers were delivered 25 minutes later and just before the other members of the party arrived. Several more small plates were ordered at 6:20 along with wine and drinks. The drinks came shortly after but the food did not get plated until 7:25. We had expected to have plenty of time to eat and attend a concert at 7:30. We left with boxed food and some of the party had nothing to eat until much later. It was a very disappointing experience. The food that we did get was good but way too slow. There are many other restaurants in the area that have great food and MUCH faster service.

Quality food. Service was relatively slow, due to being short-staffed in the kitchen, however, when we mentioned that we were heading to a show, the kitchen made every effort to get our order prepared and getting us out the door.

My husband and I are vegetarians and most restaurants in the Seattle area have entrees for us but not a single option at this place. We had looked at the online menu before coming here and it did have options listed that we could eat. However, when we got to the restaurant the menu was totally different. The waitress recommended that we get some sides of vegetables or a caesar salad (btw Caesar salad has anchovies in the dressing which she was unaware of).
I fail to understand why meat eaters think vegetarians only eat vegetables, we would starve if we ate like rabbits. A salad or veggies is not satiating and does not provide enough energy.
On top of that, the service was very slow.
We will not be back to this unenlightened restaurant.

Extremely slow, I haven't been to a restaurant is that that slow.. food was good, but it definitely doesn't take 1.5 hrs for a risotto to be prepared . Drinks were creative , we all liked them. Advice to serve faster

The food is always good here, however this visit the service was not very good. We had to ask for drinks, ask for silverware, and ask for our bill. We didn't feel waited on at all. Not sure if we will want to go back.

The Loft was a solid "ok". The restaurant is tucked behind a very narrow, crowded bar scene, and although most of the tables were empty, kitchen service was quite slow. This could be a great place with a few minor changes to the layout. I appreciate their effort to create an outdoor space in the city, and the menu was diverse and interesting. We had the charcuterie platter, and my friends had a burger and caprese salad. The food was pretty good, but the slow service, and difficulty leaving once we paid (bar patrons block the exit and aren't keen on moving) don't make me want to come back anytime soon for a meal. Looks like a fun place to grab a drink instead!

Awesome food and drinks! The back patio is relaxing and the servers are always nice. The Loft margarita is the best in town.
