The food was good value and tasty. However we were very disappointed to find that most of the menu wasn't available which was frustrating. Additionally we were told there was limited spirits available and no fizzy water - that is simply unacceptable and very amateurish.

That being said, the chef in the kitchen did produce amazing food and the staff were polite / attentive.

I love the relaxed feel and laid back nature. The Lodge is kitted out to be like a ski lodge in Verbier, with the staff all wearing casual check shirts.

As it was Valentines Day, there was a set menu at £45 per person. This included a glass of cava each, four starters, a huge fondue with new potatoes, bread and salad, and a giant baked Alaska for dessert, all to share.

The food was great, I really couldn't fault it, I just found that £45 per person seemed steep for what it really was. The price is potentially more a reflection of the experience than just the food.

I'm glad I went as iteas a special occasion, but probably wouldn't return. It's a 'been there done that' place.

Delicious beef and good fondue, but pretty pricey! Good for a special occasion. The rosemary roast potatoes are incredible!

Good service but overall I thought this place is overrated. We ordered the fondue which we thought was average and overpriced for what we were given.

as a group of 5 that ordered lots of, wines, starters and the fondue main course followed by dessert we certainly tried lots of the menu, there was a feeling there could have been a little more Fondue (apparently its weighed out per customer so we had our fill) but the waiting staff handled our greedy disappointment superbly and even managed to persuade us to eat 2 x the baked Alaska - great idea but needs to be baked in the oven, so that the ice cream is melting just like those mountains the Lodge is supposed to evoke, less blow torch more bake please :-)

Had this booked for ages and really looking forward to the Fondue as never had it before. Ordered the chef recommendations and the Fondue. We were then presented with 4 starters, mackerel, broccoli, pork and duck. All the dishes were excellent but it was a lot of food.

After asking for a short break we were presented with the Fondue. Wow what a lot of cheese. It was really tasty but very rich. The Fondue came with bread and potatoes which were good but felt it would have been nice to have some vegetables as it was very carb heavy.

Staff were friendly and attentive and overall a good experience.

We probably had the worst table as it was by the entrance and it was a little bit cold (hence the low score for ambience) but just a minor gripe really.

The environment is quite nice, particularly good if you want to go there during the christmas period. Food was okay, nothing amazing and pretty overpriced. Same goes for cocktails. Overall not particularly impressed.

I LOVE This place and it never disappoints! So glad it's back for a seasonal fondue. The staff go above and beyond and the atmosphere is amazing. Can't recommend the lodge and Jimmy Garcia's places more! *

We went to The Lodge on a Thursday night after wanting to go for months. It's a nice venue and the cocktails and side dishes are amazing but the fondue, which should have been the main event, was really disappointing.

Fantastic evening at the lodge. Didn't do the Fondue (but looked great, however all the other dishes were amazing! Hardest thing in the Lodge is trying to choose from the menu..it's all so good!

Really great atmosphere and everyone who works there is really friendly. The food was amazing, the bottomless bubbles continuously topped up and love the decor. Only downside was the desserts, unfortunately not as good.

As usual we had a lovely meal at The Lodge. The menu had a lot more on it than it did last year but of we couldn't resist going for the fondue again. Really tasty and creamy. Overall, great meal and as always, great service.

We had a great evening at the lodge last Saturday evening. The food left us wanting for more. Authentic fondue and attention to detail in the side plates. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly and had good knowledge of the menus. The atmosphere was cosy and i was really impressed by the way the restuarant was transformed into a Swiss ski restaurant. We suggested frosting the windows to retain the atmosphere. My only dissapointment was that dispute the effort the team took in making us feel like we were in a ski report we could see the 155 bus and clapham traffic clearly out the window by our table. Worth noting too that the lodge is a pop-up restaurant rather than a pop-up event venue.

Went to The Lodge for a family meal with my sister and her family. The atmosphere was good. The service was great - friendly and attentive and nice to the kids. We had the cheese fondue which was delicious but really a bit overpriced. Good that the potatoes, greens and bread are all-you-can-eat and the wine was reasonably priced, but in the end we racked up about £50 a head for a meal which was a bit much for a school night. Delicious though.

The food here was excellent if a little expensive, however the staff were not very attentive. It was really hard to get anyone's attention to order a drink, despite there being more than one person stood around apparently not doing anything. At times it was like they were trying to avoid us when we wanted to order more drinks. They were very accommodating when it came to squeezing an extra person in at our table though.

This was my 2nd time here this Winter Season. Their fondue may not be the cheapest - but it is the best you can have in London to replicate a ski holiday in the alps. Service is always spot on - love the ladies who work there. Food is always perfect. Will return over and over :)

Food was amazing, especially the salmon starter and the cheese fondue. However the fondue was too small, not enough cheese! It's a shame because if there was more cheese it would have been perfect!

The Lodge promises a lot but never delivers on that promise. The place looks cosy, although we expected a better interior design. What definitely removes points from the overall experience is the horrible music that plays quite loudly and doesn't match the feel of the place. Instead of a trash pop and R n'B hits playlist they would be much better off with jazzy tunes. This is not down to personal preference, as I prefer rock music but I've never been in a Lodge which plays pop hits for 10 year-olds before! The music was annoying and detracted from the experience of dining in a lodge.

The food was mediocre. The fondue doesn't even explain what type of cheese is used other than a vague indication in the menu and is ridiculously expensive (24 pounds per person!). We also ordered a Cote de Boeuf which was promised to be quite a large portion (it wasn't) and we were never asked how we wanted it cooked! Also, no steak knifes were provided with the steak. When your only highlight is your bacon and cheese croquettes (a starter) then something is definitely wrong with your menu. The prices were too high for what was offered and that's a shame because the overall idea of the place is good.

On the brighter side, the stuff was very friendly and always happy to help.

Overall, we had a mediocre time, and this was an anniversary dinner!

This was our first visit and if Lola (grandaughter ). Hadn't workedthere I don't suppose we would have found it. The result will be that you will probably get a few 'older' customers!!

We had such a lovely time here with a small group of friends for a pre-Christmas get together. Food was great, as was the service and the setting is very festive! We had a lovely evening here.

I booked a table 3 weeks in advance but was given a table that was left over beside the kitchen. Our wine came after out food and we were forgotten about for most of the afternoon. There are lots of people running around but no one seemed to be serving anyone. The food was ok but the service is terrible.
