My husband stand and I brought our granddaughters to the tea. The kids tea is not up to par. It comes on a tray not the fun 3 tiers that one expects at a fancy tea. No little tea sandwiches for the kids. There was a burger slider, ham and cheese in the shape of a bear and small p b and J . There were other small treats and gummie bears in a cup. At 39 dollars a kid was not the ambiance that I was expecting. They gave them a toy that was taken out and f the plastic at the table. Would have preferred the true ambiance of the fancy tea without the bear if their cost was an issue.I had to keep jumping up to pour my granddaughter’hot chocolate. We have been to tea at the Plaza with them and that was 3 steps ahead. They had fun but I was disappointed.

The Sunday Brunch was wonderful and something that I'd recommend to friends, but there are some areas that were lacking. Dim Sum and hot prepared foods such as sea bass were disappointing. Who would ever think you'd get mediocre Dim Sum at the Peninsula Hotel, right? And salad selection was a bit boring. But, the cold seafood, sashimi, and dessert stations were quite nice and enough to make me look forward to returning another day. And, the French toast was the best I've ever had. Yum.

We had a lovely Restaurant Week meal. The space is beautiful and the service was outstanding. The food is very good, though perhaps not as outstanding as the service. All together a wonderful peaceful lunch. We will be back for tea.

Lunch did not disappoint. Being Restaurant week there was a prix fixed menu. It was a perfect in every way, food and service. The nicest surprise was the ending when the waiter brought me a happy birthday cake.
