Our server was very nice and friendly and the food was okay. But we waited nearly an hour for our food to arrive after our appies. However, this was nothing compared to the next night where we went to Pier 7 where we waited nearly 15 minutes for service that never materialized.

So disappointing.

The Lobby was always our favourite place to go for Amy occasion for many years but not anymore. Our waitress We ordered rack of lamb and beef short rib as a main but our waitress didn't ask how we would like for lamb and beef short rib was like chewy fibre with no flavour.

My wife, daughter and I came for a relaxing dinner and were overwhelmed by the noise factor of this restaurant. We could hardly hear one another talk which made for an unpleasant experience.
My wife's salmon was not very appetising, uncooked and dry.
Overall if the ambiencee of this place is like this I would not reccomend to anyone for a peaceful relaxing dinner.

What a disaster . Our mid week dinner outing left a bad taste in my mouth . Between the server' unsactimonious table service and the manager fuelling the downward spiral of negativity.
The room was less than 1/4 full . And one hopes that will transpire to personalized service. Not so. When we ask the server about the menu there was no ellabrotion or recommendations . We ordered a bottle of red, a gsm, and a bottle of white, conundrum . The server returned unscrewed the bottle ,poured a full glass of red conundrum in the glass closest to her. It's unfortunate when age old rituals are forgotten . I would provide a link on how to present a bottle of wine at a table , but there are so many .When we realized that she had mistaken what we had requested and mentioned this the server took the glass and bottle back to the bar . We sat and waited .Four of the five people in our group ordered hot entrees . Which arrived except for my friends entree sized salad .We waited ackwardly before starting. We ordered more wine to enjoy with our meal .My sable fish was amazing and the roasted vegetables comfy and carmalized . Enjoying my friends intelligent conversations involving a myriad of topics ,non of which involve slang, swearing, derogatory loud comments. I feel obligated to say this as the treatment that ensued , by server and manager , made me feel as though we were at the height of a week long carousing bender worthy of the big screen. Because we are told that they have been watching us , and there are camera that have recorded us and that we are now cut off . It doesn't sound right or reasonable , so we ask to speak with the manager . The manager explains the ServingItRight policy . It is a great program , but doesn't apply here as over the 3 hrs we have eaten , the men are men sized and the ladies are curvaceous, no one has driven , they forgot to ask this. The uncomfortable confrontation and insults from the manager on 'furthering my point' ruined our evening.

This was ‘Dine Out Vancouver’ and we felt that the food was very average. We dined there a few months ago for a West Coast dinner through Groupon and the food was superb. However the Creme Brûlé dessert for ‘Dine Out’ was amazing!

We hadn’t realized that Friday night had entertainment in the bar adjoining the dining area and it was so loud that conversation with our friends was virtually impossible which was the reason we were meeting.

Our first experience there was great but we will avoid ‘Dine Out’ and Friday nights!

We went for the dine out Vancouver menu. we both had .the prawn cocktail, very good but skimpy on the sauce...the shortrib entrée was very good...the pork chop entrée was good but the rice was rather crunchy...the crème brulee was disappointing as it had chocolate flavoring and wasn't the traditional dessert that we expected.
The service is always good at the Pinnacle and its nice to be able to sit in a booth rather than a table.

The atmosphere is warm and friendly. The food is great. My ONLY caveat is that , with a large group ,it is difficult to hear each other with the ambient noise in the large rooms and high ceilings. The round tables help to create an inclusive mood but if one desired a more intimate feel to a gathering, go for the bar area in a secluded corner. Love the location, staff, and the entertainment!

The food was good. The room they put people in for the event was segregated off to the side, which made it nice and quiet. However, I found the room did not have much ambience (meaning decorated in an inviting warm & colourful way). A bit austere, lacking of artwork, etc. IF you are going to have a separate room, make it inviting and feel special instead of utilitarian.

We were out for a birthday dinner. Our server, took away our wine glasses as we were having cocktails prior to dinner. She then took away the wine list as well. As it ended up, 3 of the gals went with the wine pairing option and another 2 ordered more wine. Morale of the story - it is best for servers not to make assumptions. It felt a little rude and spoke of poor quality of service.

We used a groupon for a 3 course meal for two. We both had the prawn appetizer with sauce, good but small portion. I had the lamb entrée, very good but a small portion of lamb served with veggies/potato. . My partner had the short rib entrée. He enjoyed it but again a small portion of meat with mashed potato and veggies. there was only 1 dessert available, crème caramel which was tasty but not the best that I have ever had.
The service was very good and it was quiet as it was early and not many patrons. The décor is rather bland/boring for a high end hotel.
We have been to the Pinnacle on numerous occasions as the food and service is always good. Free underground parking is also a bonus with the groupons.

The turkey dinner was expensive for what it was. The mash potatoes came out as a clump like they had been sitting for a very long time, the turkey was extremely salty and the wine pairing for $24 was said to be a very good deal, but it was more expensive and did not add any value to the experience at all.
I had expected it to be a dining setting, so that was my fault, but we were seated beside the lounge which had a very loud group and couldn't hear each other across the table till they left.
The server took extremely long to come take even our drink order, but she explained she had to take care of that big table in the lounge and sorry for our wait- she was friendly and if it wasn't for Cinnamon's humour and professionalism, it would of been a total wash.

Last Friday we were wandering around the Quay and the Night Market in North Van and decided to return to the Pinnacle for dinner. We both had delicious meals, I had the BBQ Ribs and my Wife had the Chicken Penne. But the real treat was the Crispy Prawn starter they were awesome {My Caper Caesar salad was great too}. Everything was hot and the portions were large enough that we both had a great lunch at home the next day. Our waitress was Gaby and she was great, helpful and pleasant. We will return to the Pinnacle for sure.

This is our 4th visit to the Lobby and we have never had a bad meal. Always excellent! We used a Groupon coupon so it was definitely worth the price. The menu for Groupon is actually quite extensive. You have a range of appy's, this time all four of us chose the prawns. We got five or maybe six very large prawns served with a seafood sauce. Tasty. Our choices for mains, 2 steaks, one salmon and one baby back ribs. The only downside to the steaks was they were 10 oz. That is a big steak. A go bag was in order. The ribs were melt in your mouth as was the salmon. Presentation was very good. Dessert, what can I say. The shared plate gives a nice selection, crème brule, panna cotta , vanilla bean ice cream with a French macaroon, a dense chocolate cake. We could not finish. Food portions are definitely not skimpy. Looking forward to visit # 5.........

This is my third trip across the inlet to go to Pinnacle. I have yet to have a bad experience. The food is excellent and the lunch menu is varied. I had the quinoa salad and it was more than filling. My friend said the ginger carrot soup was excellent as was the ham sandwich. She was only going to eat half the sandwich and take the other half home but couldn't resist and ate it all. The sandwich & soup combo is not on the menu? but ask your server. They will be more than willing to oblige.

Good food in filling (but not vulgar) portions. Definitely not the "food galleries" that serve up edible art in minute quantities. Good but not fantastic tastes (although the grilled vegetables were delicious beyond expectations). The wine menu is sub-par, listing several wines that I recognize only because they're so cheap ($10/btl) that we buy them for cooking. The service was genuine but green, often leaving us with the feeling of being rushed along despite a half-empty space. We'll keep an eye on this place and maybe give it another try in a year or so.
