We used a groupon for a 3 course meal for two. We both had the prawn appetizer with sauce, good but small portion. I had the lamb entrée, very good but a small portion of lamb served with veggies/potato. . My partner had the short rib entrée. He enjoyed it but again a small portion of meat with mashed potato and veggies. there was only 1 dessert available, crème caramel which was tasty but not the best that I have ever had.
The service was very good and it was quiet as it was early and not many patrons. The décor is rather bland/boring for a high end hotel.
We have been to the Pinnacle on numerous occasions as the food and service is always good. Free underground parking is also a bonus with the groupons.

The turkey dinner was expensive for what it was. The mash potatoes came out as a clump like they had been sitting for a very long time, the turkey was extremely salty and the wine pairing for $24 was said to be a very good deal, but it was more expensive and did not add any value to the experience at all.
I had expected it to be a dining setting, so that was my fault, but we were seated beside the lounge which had a very loud group and couldn't hear each other across the table till they left.
The server took extremely long to come take even our drink order, but she explained she had to take care of that big table in the lounge and sorry for our wait- she was friendly and if it wasn't for Cinnamon's humour and professionalism, it would of been a total wash.

Last Friday we were wandering around the Quay and the Night Market in North Van and decided to return to the Pinnacle for dinner. We both had delicious meals, I had the BBQ Ribs and my Wife had the Chicken Penne. But the real treat was the Crispy Prawn starter they were awesome {My Caper Caesar salad was great too}. Everything was hot and the portions were large enough that we both had a great lunch at home the next day. Our waitress was Gaby and she was great, helpful and pleasant. We will return to the Pinnacle for sure.

We had an excellent dinner using a groupon. I didnt look at the regular menu so cannot speak to pricing. We felt like we had gotten a phenominal deal. Really, really enjoyed it.

This is our 4th visit to the Lobby and we have never had a bad meal. Always excellent! We used a Groupon coupon so it was definitely worth the price. The menu for Groupon is actually quite extensive. You have a range of appy's, this time all four of us chose the prawns. We got five or maybe six very large prawns served with a seafood sauce. Tasty. Our choices for mains, 2 steaks, one salmon and one baby back ribs. The only downside to the steaks was they were 10 oz. That is a big steak. A go bag was in order. The ribs were melt in your mouth as was the salmon. Presentation was very good. Dessert, what can I say. The shared plate gives a nice selection, crème brule, panna cotta , vanilla bean ice cream with a French macaroon, a dense chocolate cake. We could not finish. Food portions are definitely not skimpy. Looking forward to visit # 5.........

This is my third trip across the inlet to go to Pinnacle. I have yet to have a bad experience. The food is excellent and the lunch menu is varied. I had the quinoa salad and it was more than filling. My friend said the ginger carrot soup was excellent as was the ham sandwich. She was only going to eat half the sandwich and take the other half home but couldn't resist and ate it all. The sandwich & soup combo is not on the menu? but ask your server. They will be more than willing to oblige.

Good food in filling (but not vulgar) portions. Definitely not the "food galleries" that serve up edible art in minute quantities. Good but not fantastic tastes (although the grilled vegetables were delicious beyond expectations). The wine menu is sub-par, listing several wines that I recognize only because they're so cheap ($10/btl) that we buy them for cooking. The service was genuine but green, often leaving us with the feeling of being rushed along despite a half-empty space. We'll keep an eye on this place and maybe give it another try in a year or so.

This was on our radar and we used open table to find a spot at the desired time 730PM,
Everything was top notch from service to portion size with appetizer still managed room for dessert and was pleasantly surprised at the diversity of a combo. Loved the ambiance and room setup in relation to the bar.

We have been here a couple of times. The service and staff are great. However, we find the food a bit lacking flavor. It would be good to review the menu and put some spice into some of the selections. Given the neighborhood, there will only be more and more people chosing to eat here and it should be a bit better food then it is.

We have always wanted to try the Prime Rib special on Sundays but have never had to stay over the weekend. I'm so glad that we finally did! The prime rib was a very good portion and came with veggies, mashed potatoes and a fried croissant muffin. It was a very good value and it was delicious! I would definitely come back again for this meal and many more.

We used a Groupon & it was supposed to include 2 hours of parking. I have a disability but there were no parking available. The closest parking available was 9 blocks away. Needless to say, I was not pleased. The restaurant was quite noisy & we could not hear the singer/ entertainment. Food was delicious. My steak was tender & dessert was very good. My husband said the Osso Bucco was okay.

Having been a few years in a row for Mother's Day brunch, it has steadily declined. Some of the hot food was cold, quality wasn't as good as years before, selection wasn't as varied as in previous years. Service was lovely but the restaurant itself was tired looking - chairs had stains, tables were scuffed and chipped. Was not worth the price. Won't come back next Mother's Day.

I really love coming to the Pinnacle as it's a great meeting spot. On Wednesday, I was there for a friend get together. As a vegetarian, I found the selection to be satisfactory. When I asked for extra vegetables instead of rice for the Tikka Bowl, I was asked if I would pay extra. I don't think this should really be an issue. I wasn't asking for extra meat, but more vegetables. That said, the meal was good and the salad I had for starters was fresh, vibrant and appealing to the palate.
I will continue coming to the Pinnacle as the hostesses are great! I've gotten to know a few of them over the years. One of my favorite places on the North Shore. Love the virgin mojitos too!

Good food & service! The Dine Out event was good value, with decent helpings of tasty food. The restaurant is a good location, so we went in spite of the snow as we just caught the sea bus to the quay & walked the short distance. The only reason we marked down the ambience is because of the noise. It was so noisy the 8 of us had to talk very loud to be heard.
