It was a great experience...friendly servers, fast and efficient service and fabulous food... plus location is magnificent
We dined at the Lobby on a Saturday evening and chose the fixed price Dine-Out menu. We had goat cheese and beet salad (excellent), the duck l'orange (excellent) and the creme brûlée's (also excellent and very generous amount!). Service at the table was excellent but the kitchen was unacceptably slow. We promptly had water and our wine order delivered to our table after arriving but waited an unacceptable hour for our meal to arrive. The kitchen seemed to be very busy with take-out orders at the expense of the dine-in business. I have no idea if our experience is typical but I would not recommend anyone to dine at the Lobby on a Saturday evening because of the overwhelmed kitchen. Pity because the food was interesting, well prepared and nicely presented.
Our server, Gabriela, was so friendly and engaging. My son and I have celiac disease and the menu offers many options for us. I personally recommend the Salmon Fresh Bowl or the Red Thai Curry.
Very good food and service.
First visit here. The waitress and service were very good. When the food came - 2 sirloin steak dinners - it was VERY good - tasty, beautifully presented and an ample portion. Most unfortunately it was spoilt a bit by 2 noisy groups who arrived as we were finishing.
Wonderful everything and place to celebrate my birthday. Thank you
Best Dine out in Vancouver menu !! Amazing dinner, a great presentation with wonderful flavours. The service was excellent.
The venue needs help to match the food quality !!
Came here for Dine out Vancouver with family and ended up leaving very happy.
From the dine out menu, we had the wagyu carpaccio and the octopus nicoise salad and that kicked it right off. The carpaccio with the crispy fried capers and truffle aioli was fragrant and mouth watering while the salad with the warm octopus was tender and refreshing yet not heavy.
Entrees came afterwards, which we had the ahi tuna and the short rib. The tuna was a good size portion that went well with the creamy mash and the short rib was moist and just fell apart.
We also ordered some crab cakes and yam fries from the a la carte menu and would have to say if you had to get something from the a la carte, get the crab cakes. They will put a smile on your face with the size and pure crab meat in there, probably the best you'll have in Vancouver.
Finishing the meal with dessert was a rich decadent chocolate cake and a classic creme brulee. If you want a heavier dessert, go for the cake in my opinion. Both would be good with coffee as a suggestion.
Expect to spend a good 1.5-2 hours here for a great dinner.
We were there because of Dine Out. We did order 2 Dine Out meals: 2 Wagu Beef which were really flavourful, fatty as it should be and with some drizzle of aoili and sprinkles of cheese (maybe parmesan?). Also ordered the Korean Short Rib which came with spicy noodle for my teen daughter; the rib was sweet but tasted boil the noodle though sweet, was a little too spicy even for me & we both do eat spicy from time to time. Duck a l' orange was disappointing as it also tasted like they had boiled it first and there was no char as I expect it would be. My daughter's chocolate cake was nothing to write home about and my Creme Brulee with the burnt sugar gave it a nice caramel on top of the creamy bottom. My husband and younger teen were glad that they went with burgers and fries and they were happy with their meals. I went to this restaurant on account of my friend saying the above dishes she had was great but after I checked notes with her, she said perhaps it depends if it is really busy and whether we did get the same chef. So thumbs up for her but not so for us. Also with regards to Covid and the restaurant environment, it was quite busy and I see that they do wipe the tops of the table but not the edges, nor the seats. There are dividers but we are otherwise fairly close together. I did ask to seat in the front area where it was not so busy but the hostess said that those were for walk-in customers??? Not sure if that made any sense! They do get a lot of Groupon people as they seem to ask everyone that question.
Always enjoy coming here. Food is good, restaurant feels safe with social distancing protocols in place, and service is good.
The service and foot was very good and if you attend during the happy hours the drinks are reasonable
We had dine-out Vancouver the food was excellent but the lobby bar was too noisy. Also the food presentation was excellent.
We dined for dine out. The food was just okay - quite strange flavour combinations! The restaurant is quite loud inside, and people had brought their large dog into the restaurant! The service was not bad, but not great either - they were bringing our main meals out before we had finished the entree. For the price of the meals, i think there are much nicer options in North Vancouver.
Went for dine out, food arrived luke warm and took 1.5 hours to arrive. Service was not great. We had trouble finding out server until it was time for payment (which she brought instantly).
The Lobby at the Pinnacle Pier has got to be Vancouver’s best kept secret. The food is on par, if not better, than most fine dining restaurants in the city. Every time we go there is something new and sumptuous on the menu. An eclectic medley of North & South American, Pan Asian, Mediterranean, Indian, British dishes that blend harmoniously with my palate on any given time and day. The dining room and bar could be run-of-the-mill if it were not for the staff who take such good care of us, in no time we are family. Here also, our parking is paid for, a rare touch of hospitality to bid us farewell. There is Happy Hour, but as far as I’m concerned The Lobby is my Happy place.
We celebrated Valentine's Day and our 35th Anniversary with the Valentine's Day Special. The food was a good value and great tasting. We had the wine pairings to celebrate with the meal. The Sauteed Tiger Prawns were delicious. My husband got his prime rib just the way he loves it, rare. And the dessert was excellent. My meal was great also. The service was exceptional as always.
This was the Valentine Day special meal. The rack of lamb and prime rib were excellent and proportions were generous. We enjoyed the shared sweets as well. Service was excellent as well.
We enjoyed a delicious brunch for Valentine's Day. We had excellent service from Gabby and even thought the restaurant was busy, we didn't have to wait for service and our food came in a timely manner. A lovely treat.
Family day brunch.
Went for an early Valentine’s dinner, food was great, as well as drinks, service was horrible felt like the lady who was wearing glasses was so rude and was rushing us for last call and came off as quite aggressive.
Valentine’s Day. Service was terrific. Noise level a little high. Food was good and good value
i would say nice food, nice atmosphere and good service
We had dine out menu. The food was delicious but we waited at least 25 minutes for our main courses. I will come back next time but definitely not during busy hours
Always a great spot next to the Shipyards. Duck done to perfection and short rib the same.
Our 2021 Dine-Out experience was great. My husband and I enjoyed all three courses. The portions were generous and tasty. The all day happy hour on drinks was an added bonus.
Really great food and great service! Enjoyed our dinner immensely.
We had the Angus burger and the Salmon bowl. Both were tasty. Nice view of the open public area and good service. We’ve been several times and will return.
Good dinner experience with delicious food!
Excellent food, good service and reasonably priced!
The service was outstanding, thanks to your amazing waitress/hostess (didn't get her name). The food was very delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Really worth the money, will definitely go back again.
I’ve come in quite a few times over the years, and the food, service time and servers always remain the same.

Always good, service is excellent every time. Food is consistently good, well presented.
Disappointed... felt more like a sports bar then a restaurant. The service wasn’t great and they messed up on 3 parts of our order and didn’t do anything to comp. the food was just ok. I really wanted to like this place as my boyfriend and I live close but will not be going back.
Seemed like there were too many people in the restaurant.
Food arrived cold.
Loud young teen who kept bouncing up and down on adjoining sear.
Loud noise from noisy patrons.
Baby crying
A bad move to come for brunch
Not again
To be honest it was quite loud and couldn’t even hear any music. Food quality was ok, but we won’t be rushing back for dinner.
Great 3-course menu but the server was too busy to bring our entre out to our table when ready so the food was warm only. Limited HH beers and wines. Reg drink prices are high as expected at hotel rate. Felt covid-safe with plexiglass dividers but many tables had ‘extended friends’ instead of immediate family bubble. Will try again on a non-weekend night.
the food was a bit greasy and i wish they had something more healthier in their menu
Great place to eat. Have been to the lobby so many times and every time they Live up to my expectations. Food is good and the service is great. Will recommend this place to anyone.
Spent my birthday with family and as always, foods are satisfying. Not so many people so we enjoyed the place, the nice service and overall we had fun.
