First visit here. The waitress and service were very good. When the food came - 2 sirloin steak dinners - it was VERY good - tasty, beautifully presented and an ample portion. Most unfortunately it was spoilt a bit by 2 noisy groups who arrived as we were finishing.
Wonderful everything and place to celebrate my birthday. Thank you
Best Dine out in Vancouver menu !! Amazing dinner, a great presentation with wonderful flavours. The service was excellent.
The venue needs help to match the food quality !!
Came here for Dine out Vancouver with family and ended up leaving very happy.
From the dine out menu, we had the wagyu carpaccio and the octopus nicoise salad and that kicked it right off. The carpaccio with the crispy fried capers and truffle aioli was fragrant and mouth watering while the salad with the warm octopus was tender and refreshing yet not heavy.
Entrees came afterwards, which we had the ahi tuna and the short rib. The tuna was a good size portion that went well with the creamy mash and the short rib was moist and just fell apart.
We also ordered some crab cakes and yam fries from the a la carte menu and would have to say if you had to get something from the a la carte, get the crab cakes. They will put a smile on your face with the size and pure crab meat in there, probably the best you'll have in Vancouver.
Finishing the meal with dessert was a rich decadent chocolate cake and a classic creme brulee. If you want a heavier dessert, go for the cake in my opinion. Both would be good with coffee as a suggestion.
Expect to spend a good 1.5-2 hours here for a great dinner.
Always enjoy coming here. Food is good, restaurant feels safe with social distancing protocols in place, and service is good.
The service and foot was very good and if you attend during the happy hours the drinks are reasonable
We had dine-out Vancouver the food was excellent but the lobby bar was too noisy. Also the food presentation was excellent.
We dined for dine out. The food was just okay - quite strange flavour combinations! The restaurant is quite loud inside, and people had brought their large dog into the restaurant! The service was not bad, but not great either - they were bringing our main meals out before we had finished the entree. For the price of the meals, i think there are much nicer options in North Vancouver.
Went for dine out, food arrived luke warm and took 1.5 hours to arrive. Service was not great. We had trouble finding out server until it was time for payment (which she brought instantly).
The Lobby at the Pinnacle Pier has got to be Vancouver’s best kept secret. The food is on par, if not better, than most fine dining restaurants in the city. Every time we go there is something new and sumptuous on the menu. An eclectic medley of North & South American, Pan Asian, Mediterranean, Indian, British dishes that blend harmoniously with my palate on any given time and day. The dining room and bar could be run-of-the-mill if it were not for the staff who take such good care of us, in no time we are family. Here also, our parking is paid for, a rare touch of hospitality to bid us farewell. There is Happy Hour, but as far as I’m concerned The Lobby is my Happy place.
We celebrated Valentine's Day and our 35th Anniversary with the Valentine's Day Special. The food was a good value and great tasting. We had the wine pairings to celebrate with the meal. The Sauteed Tiger Prawns were delicious. My husband got his prime rib just the way he loves it, rare. And the dessert was excellent. My meal was great also. The service was exceptional as always.
This was the Valentine Day special meal. The rack of lamb and prime rib were excellent and proportions were generous. We enjoyed the shared sweets as well. Service was excellent as well.
We enjoyed a delicious brunch for Valentine's Day. We had excellent service from Gabby and even thought the restaurant was busy, we didn't have to wait for service and our food came in a timely manner. A lovely treat.
Family day brunch.
Went for an early Valentine’s dinner, food was great, as well as drinks, service was horrible felt like the lady who was wearing glasses was so rude and was rushing us for last call and came off as quite aggressive.
Valentine’s Day. Service was terrific. Noise level a little high. Food was good and good value
i would say nice food, nice atmosphere and good service
We had dine out menu. The food was delicious but we waited at least 25 minutes for our main courses. I will come back next time but definitely not during busy hours
Always a great spot next to the Shipyards. Duck done to perfection and short rib the same.
Our 2021 Dine-Out experience was great. My husband and I enjoyed all three courses. The portions were generous and tasty. The all day happy hour on drinks was an added bonus.
Really great food and great service! Enjoyed our dinner immensely.
We had the Angus burger and the Salmon bowl. Both were tasty. Nice view of the open public area and good service. We’ve been several times and will return.
Good dinner experience with delicious food!
Excellent food, good service and reasonably priced!
The service was outstanding, thanks to your amazing waitress/hostess (didn't get her name). The food was very delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Really worth the money, will definitely go back again.
I’ve come in quite a few times over the years, and the food, service time and servers always remain the same.

Always good, service is excellent every time. Food is consistently good, well presented.
Disappointed... felt more like a sports bar then a restaurant. The service wasn’t great and they messed up on 3 parts of our order and didn’t do anything to comp. the food was just ok. I really wanted to like this place as my boyfriend and I live close but will not be going back.
Seemed like there were too many people in the restaurant.
Food arrived cold.
Loud young teen who kept bouncing up and down on adjoining sear.
Loud noise from noisy patrons.
Baby crying
A bad move to come for brunch
Not again
To be honest it was quite loud and couldn’t even hear any music. Food quality was ok, but we won’t be rushing back for dinner.
Great 3-course menu but the server was too busy to bring our entre out to our table when ready so the food was warm only. Limited HH beers and wines. Reg drink prices are high as expected at hotel rate. Felt covid-safe with plexiglass dividers but many tables had ‘extended friends’ instead of immediate family bubble. Will try again on a non-weekend night.
the food was a bit greasy and i wish they had something more healthier in their menu
Great place to eat. Have been to the lobby so many times and every time they Live up to my expectations. Food is good and the service is great. Will recommend this place to anyone.
Spent my birthday with family and as always, foods are satisfying. Not so many people so we enjoyed the place, the nice service and overall we had fun.
Great menu and value for the food. The ambiance is quiet with great service. Lighting is soft and noice level is low. I always find their menu to be great and they often offer three course meals for a decent price.
Nice dinner, decent prices. Great wings, and very good service from Gabriela.
I misread the ad and thought Christmas dinner extended to Boxing Day. It didn't, but the chef managed to create me a Christmas dinner from leftovers. I was so grateful! It wasn't very flavourful though (not like last year, when my son and I wanted to go back the next night!), but it was comfort food and I wanted a Christmas, turkey dinner, so #grateful. OTOH, my son ordered the lamb and he RAVED (highly unusual for him). He insisted on bringing home the 3 or 4 mouthfuls he couldn't quite finish and ate them for lunch the next day!! Our server was delightful; careful not to intrude, but there as needed. I hope my son tipped her heartily. We felt very safe; plexiglass dividers everywhere, folks in masks when not eating. The bar next door was a tiny bit noisy, but they were happy noises, so didn't care. All in all...we'll be back next year if possible!
We booked Christmas dinner well in advance. The fixed menu was not vegetarian friendly so we were encouraged to come at 3 PM.
Upon arrival we were informed that there was only a brief selection on the menu and we had to be out by 4 PM
We had time for a drink and appetizers then left to find somewhere else for dinner. Quite a challenge on Christmas day at 4 PM
The management at the Pinnacle were apologetic and picked up the tab. We ended up having Chinese food at a place up Lonsdale. It was delicious
Open Table changed our reservation from 3:15 to 2:45pm. The regular menu changed at 3:00 pm on Christmas Day to the Turkey dinner. Also I saw on the website a ticketed dinner was available from 5:00 pm but not advised until around Dec. 18.
Although these times were confusing, the Lobby Restaurant accommodated all our requests - for a turkey sandwich not on the menu and for a turkey dinner, without starter or dessert - and extended the time we could be there from 1 1/2 hours to 1 3/4.
The only thing not available was a Dubonnet or red Cinzano for one person who doesn't normally drink.
So all in all we had a good Christmas dinner.
