We are located in the Lobby of the Pinnacle Hotel!
Although it was a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, the food was not great and the cost was higher than average. We met friends at the restaurant and although we didn't order much food, what we did order was not great. The pizza was mostly bread / crust (very little cheese) and the truffle fries did not have enough cheese or truffle added (mostly it was just a plate of fries). The service was superb, our waitress was wonderful. We wanted to give it a try due to a coupon we received for a free appetizer but it's unlikely we will return.
Server was knowledgeable and accommodating. Was there for happy hour and dinner with co-workers.
We had the sable fish and short ribs, both excellent.
Staff was excellent, friendly and accommodating.
Love the prawns/scallops risotto even if it’s a bit $ - delicious. Our server was great. We did find the musician loud and trying to talk over it was challenging.
There were 6 of us getting together from our high school days. We ended up shutting down the restaurant and were never felt that we had to leave right away. The last server on was cleaning up and came over to talk to us about our night. Never did she ever tell us we needed to leave. The food was great, the atmosphere was lovely and overall it was a very nice location to meet up with old friends. We will be returning again. Thank you!
Great location, great food, good wine selection, but, SORRY it was a little loud for our liking.
We had a great meal for my husband’s birthday. Ambience and location were fun!
We enjoyed our meal from the reception, service and excellent food quality. Fresh and yummy. Definitely on my list to go back too. Very reasonably priced.
Your Alaskan Crab and Prawn Linguine is very nice, but the menu says nothing about cheese on
I always forget to ask for it not to have cheese on top, and feel awkward about returning it.
Could you please put it on the menu ingredients for those of us not having dairy products.
It would help me to remember to tell the cook to omit it.
Best Turkey Dinner I’ve had in years 🤫
Thanksgiving dinner. Very good food. Good service. Good atmosphere.
Thanksgiving was the perfect opportunity to check out signature plates at the Lobby. The Angus beef carpaccio was great starter; the Ahi Tuna tataki was generous portion and had lovely citrus flavour. The rack of lamb was prepared to order “medium” and well seasoned. The pan seared Ling cod served with mussels in tomato coconut broth was surprisingly good. Hazelnut tort was bit overdone but the creme brûlée was one of the best I ever had. The added bonus of live vocalist playing guitar music made for wonderful evening. Attentive and friendly server who knew the menu and made accommodations for food allergies. We already knew they’re great for brunch; we will be back for dinner next time.
Good value if you buy the Groupon, but at full price I would look for a better option.
Came here for a business lunch, and atmosphere was clean, current and perfectly suited for business. Service was excellent- prompt, friendly, nothing overlooked. Good menu selection including flavourful salads, and value-packed lunch choices. Food was good quality. Only (small) complaint was an overdressed salad that became limp, so if you’re particular, ask in advance your options to avoid that.
We have been to the Lobby many times and every time the food and service have been consistently excellent. Our visits have been both for special occasions and casual meals; we have never been disappointed.
Hat alles sehr gut gepasst. Essen war sehr gut! Wir waren zu zweit und wollten den Urlaub dort ausklingen lassen. Das Hotel kann man auch sehr empfehlen.
Gabriela provided excellent, well paced, and attentive service. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and wine selections. Food was beautifully presented, served hot as appropriate. All made for an outstanding dining experience.
We were celebrating a birthday and started with a sparkling wine. The server, at our request, recommended a platter of meats, cheeses, thin baguette slices (toasted), fig jam and carmelized onions. This turned out to be a tasty and filling appetizer, especially the fig jam. We then ordered Angus burgers, which were delicious, quite a change from a fast food offering. Two of us enjoyed a glass or two of Merlot with the main course. We then indulged in the dessert tasting platter - another lovely idea. Everything was yummy and just the right sizes to share among three people.
Great menu and wonderful food beautifully presented. Greeted and seated well, then waited and waited for service; waited to take our order, followed by a long wait for the food, and an even longer wait to pay. Difficult for a business lunch.
Great prime rib special. Very friendly and attentive wait staff
Overall was pretty good. However, one of the servers was not doing good.
great location, always parking, food good, sometimes very noisy though
We have been here several times and always have had good food and great service. Its a perfect place for an after dinner stroll.
We were disappointed that the Retro Saturday option was not available.
We really enjoyed that menu option and did not realize that it was only seasonal - winter to spring. We would like to have that option available all year round. As well, we were not told that it was not available any longer when we booked on line; however when we came for dinner just last Sat night June 23rd it was on the menu option but were told by the server that it was no longer an option.
The noise coming from the lounge area made dinner conversation next to impossible. The waitress never poured our wine for us fret the initial pour and didn’t follow proper protocol when pouring of ladies first.
I’ve been going to this restaurant since it opened as a local resident and pick it for special occasions as well as quick bites in the lounge but was very disappointed in the experience this time as we were celebrating a birthday and could barely chat or relax over all the noise.
Very nice quiet restaurant and bar with good food, drinks and good service. Parking is very convenient. Always enjoy going to the lobby at the Pinnacle.
The food was excellent, but dessert spoiled it all. We paid $9 for something like hazelnut brownie and ice cream, but the hazelnuts were not fresh, so it wasn't edible. I certainly would recommend this restaurant, but maybe skip the dessert.
Lives up to its Tripadvisor #1 Rating for breakfast on the North Shore.
Went there for brunch and the sausages and bacon were over cooked to the point that they were burnt.
We were a group of 7 adults and everyone enjoyed there dinners. There was a Sunday night special of prime rib which was a great value at $23.95. Four of us had the prime rib and we were all more than satisfied both taste wise and portion size. The service was very good and we will be returning to this restaurant for dinner, lunch or brunch in the near future.
The prime rib was So. Good. I don’t see many restaurants that do Yorkshire pudding either, letalone do them well. Great job!!
Had my birthday celebration,it was great. The foid, the service...
Staff was very accommodating for our special needs. The food was excellent. Would certainly go again.
There were three ladies....I was hosting for a special Birthday. I had the fish and chips. They were fine...although not quite hot enough upon arrival...and it was not busy...at all. Since I was hosting my friends said they enjoyed their meals.......which I do not recall. We had a dessert....fine too. Waitress was pleasant. Nothing bad....nothing exceptional either. 6.5/10
I thought overall it was a nice place. We were there for a birthday brunch. We all enjoyed our food, service was good. The only thing I would say is it's a bit loud and sometimes hard to hear the person your speaking with across the table.
Food was ok. I had filet mignon which was a bit over cooked. Potatoes were very dry and veggies were waxy and not edible.
Six of us enjoyed Happy Hour very much! Well priced drinks, and outstanding value and quality chacuterie board! Nice to have the $3.00 loaf of bread too. Comfy seating, and easy conversation. Loved it!
Will return for your Thursday Pub night, which looks like a great deal!
Food was excellent, staff friendly and helpful, but all was tarnished by the poor acoustics overlaid with the worst muzak heard in any public area.
Very noisy. Fire alarm even went off. Service very slow. Plates left on table finished but not removed for about 20 minutes.
Food was delicious and service was excellent. We will definitely go again!
