My go-to for dates, dinner with parents, dinner with girl friends
Wonderful Thanksgiving dinner, my husband and really enjoyed our food and drinks.
The Little Owl never disappoints. The food is great. It's well prepared with imaginative preparations. It has pivoted to outdoors and doesn't miss a beat, The ambiance is charming and the heat is welcome. Lately I have been there for happy hour, lunch and dinner. Each has been very satisfying.
The best restaurant in nyc. Sweetest staff and always great vibes. So cozy and special
Great food (risotto did leave something to be desired, though), they've really figured out outdoor dining (heated lamps above every table), and happy hour drinks were on point and definitely worth the value. Will be back!
Overall it was really wonderful
We sat outside and we were fine but our feet were cold 😁
Perfect pace of service and friendly knowledgable staff. I’ll be back!
A very wonderful experience, will return
One of my favs. Amazing service. Amazing food.
Little owl has an incredible outdoor dining setup. Totally safe but chic and cozy. Quintessential New York even during the pandemic.
Great brunch with friends !
Amazing! Will definitely go back again soon.
The manager and our waitress did an incredible job from the start. The food was amazing, the table & setting was beautiful, and service was impeccable. We will certainly be back again!
Great farm to table eats, gracious service, elegant touches in outdoor environment. Wish for 1 veg entree.
The best food, people and atmosphere. One of our NYC favorites
We were seated outside and managed to stay dry in spite of the rain. Location is perfect. Food however is not! Way overpriced, given the quality and the quantity. I would not go back.
Excellent spot for brunch or dinner!! The menu is always so creative that there are 5 things you'll want to order, the hamburger is not to be missed, all the vegetable preparations are so delicious!!!
Wonderful meal and amazing service! They even let us pull up a couple of chairs for our friends.
Loved the ambiance and food. Would definitely recommend to others!
Best spot ever, service is the best, even whilst outdoors at the tent!
Excellent food and service. Friendly staff. My favorite place in West Village. very nice outdoor patio that adds extra tables.
LOVE everything about The Little Owl. And they have done a great job with outside / street dining - even in the rain! The food is consistently great. They care so much about the ingredients and every detail of preparation. We had the Italian Wedding Soup and it was just impeccable. The tiny polpettini (meat balls) and evenly cut vegetables were perfectly combined with an "egg drop" and parmesan. Along with a sneaky glass of of Grenache at lunch! I am still dreaming about it today.
We also had the Scallops and they were sweat and cooked to perfection sitting on a bed of what seamed like just picked from the garden lettuces.
Dessert was cinnamon spiced beignets. Bite sized donuts served warm and with raspberry and Nutella. And with coffee was heavenly. I ate at 4 restaurants in 2 days and that was by far the best meal I had. Along with fast, friendly and attentive service - what's not to LOVE?
I can't wait to go back for the French Onion Soup. Please never leave the neighborhood!
food was not as fresh as previous meals. love the place still & will go back
The best little gem in the west village. Absolutely gorgeous food, amazing service and so quaint.
Excellent service and food
One of my favorite spots in NY that never fails to exceed expectations. Delicious food, amazing service, friendliest staff in this cozy west village spot.
They made our anniversary so special
Little Owl is the loveliest restaurant in nyc. The food is consistently delicious, service is perfect, staff is kind and happy to give guidance and the atmosphere is incredibly charming. Dates, catch ups, perfect!
My favorite place, makes me so happy every time! 100% recommended.
Perfect meal on a beautiful street. Felt safe and taken care of. Highly recommend!
Very good food, nice outdoor dining experience. We had the halibut and the snapper special. I also enjoyed the Little Owl Rosso wine. My only recommendation was to make it clear to diners there is a time limited at the table. After an 90 min we were asked if we minded moving to a side table to have our coffee. They were very nice about it but I would have preferred knowing they had time limit. On the plus side- glad this gem of a restaurant was still busy that they had this challenge. Love this place
Couldn't have asked for better ambiance (even with outdoor dining in colder weather) or service! Food was delicious - I came for dinner and am excited to come back to try brunch!
We were off on the side and rarely got checked on; service was extremely slow.
Lettuce in my Caesar salad was brown.
Seems like they’re still figuring out covid dining.
Little Owl has maintained its utter excellence against all odds! Warm, relaxed yet attentive service, food delicious as always, and a sweet, spontaneous lagniappe to finish. Love.
They said they don’t do happy hour anymore but have not updated their website
We went for a lovely Sunday brunch to celebrate our parents anniversary. Our waitress was so attentive and thoughtful making our experience all the more merry! We ordered a variety of items off the menu, everything being delicious and satisfying. Their food is very much quality over quantity. The overall ambience and service is marvelous. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back again soon!
The Little Owl has transitioned without a glitch to accommodate the new Covid world. The service was still superb. The food outstanding. They've even managed to make the outside dining ambience quite delightful. Absolutely my favorite restaurant in NYC!
Such a cute, simple yet elegant little place - perfect for Sunday breakfast with an old friend. Menu items are unique (chaquilles!) and we loved the simple, "not too much food" presentation. Waitress could not have been sweeter.
This is the quaintest local restaurant! The food is terrific and the wait staff even better! A must visit for a fun weekend brunch!
