The Little Owl
Our go to place for special occasions; we’ve been going for 10 years. Food is consistently amazing, no matter what you order. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The space is small, but comfortable.
Perfect (as usual)... always delicious and the service is great.
Charming restaurant with really friendly staff. We asked the server for their signature dishes and they did not disappoint! We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Food was very good. Brunch choices were done well. Great egg and lox scramble, brioche french toast and bacon. Only downer was beignets were delicious doughnut holes not New Orleans beignet. Service was very attentive. Plate and utensils were changed which is always appreciated.
Loved the vibe and food!
This is an all around GREAT little gem of a restaurant!
MBM- South Mills NC
This is a great place.
Great food & service!
We had a great experience at The Little Owl. We had the beef carpaccio, branzino and lamb. It was all very good. It’s a small restaurant. Definitely make a reservation.
The Little Owl was so wonderful. I called ahead to let them know that I was stuck in traffic and was told not to worry. They would seat me when I arrived and all would be fine. The food was absolutely divine. The service was wonderful as well. I highly recommend "The Little Owl" to anyone who wants to dine finely. Five stars and I will be back!
I have been to The Little Owl several times, and it is consistently good food and service. One of my favorite places in NYC!
Wonderful service and overall dining experience. Exception food. The best!
Maybe one of the best meals I have eaten inside any restaurant. A small space, great playlist (which you can listen to on Spotify) but maybe they can turn the volume down one number. Definitely make a reservation. I would easily return.
What a great night out in NYC. Picked this based on reviews and did not disappoint! I had the special which was a bass and my husband has the lamb and both were delicious. It’s a small restaurant and the service felt very personal. Will definitely return.
Great food, pricey for the portion size. Great service. Sat by the window and as the exterior was used in Friends there was constant people taking photos during your meal. Ruined the ambience, felt like you’re in a fishbowl
First of all our hostess Theresa always is accommodating and feels like an old friend....every meal we have had was delicious... what can you say about meatball sliders and eggplant parmigiana... and the sauce!!!! Every fish dish was also superb... that is why we keep coming back!!
Such a cute place, great atmosphere - food was delightful and plentiful. Didn't rush us.
Salty food but bread pudding was delish
Always consistent- excellent food, wine and friendly staff.
Such a wonderful, special place. Real neighborhood gem. Wonderful food, welcoming service. Just first rate.
Celebrating lunchtime anniversary, they went out their way for us, in the middle of the day, to allow us space to unwind and toast. It was kind and generous of them to do that.
good food but very bohemian atmosphere. Nice staff.
Such an adorable restaurant with amazing dishes! Chilaquiles is simple and spicy, great eggs. Bacon is a must, same with the beignets. Definitely will be coming back!
A dependably delicious place - a bit noisy, but the food, service, the windows and the food - always fantastic
We’ve been dining at the Little Owl since it’s been open. It never disappoints!!
We love your restaurant but do wish it was a bit quieter. It is really hard to have a conversation with 4 or more people.
We made a last minute reservation for 8:45. We arrived 30 min. early and were greeted with complimentary Prosecco while we waited. Lovely table for 2 and Jorge was exceptional. The corn soup tasted like the corn was just picked and the juices squeezed into the soup. Yummy, but not overly heavy. The sunflower salad with golden beets and toasted sunflowers was lightly dressed. It was a nice starter. Pan seared Monkfish with brown butter and leek risotto was the special and tasted like it just came from the boat to the restaurant. Super fresh and not over cooked. The Albariño was a perfect choice to go with the fish. We split the chocolate cake soufflé with espresso gelato. It reminded me of a molten chocolate cake, but lighter and the gelato paired well. Finally, Jorge treated us to Little Owl’s take on a beignet. It was light and had a lovely tangy rhubarb sauce. While not a New Orleanian’s idea of a beignet, it was tasty. Looking forward to returning next time we are in the city.
Friends suggested Little Owl as it was their favorite in the Village. Loved everything about our experience.
Everything we tried at The Little Owl was amazing, and the service was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back, and highly recommend it to others!
Amazing food, and excellent service. A small, intimate venue. Drinks were expensive and the wine list was minimal but the rose turned out to be the drink of choice. It made for a perfect evening.
The atmosphere was so nice and the staff were excellent. We had brunch and the food was delicious!
Food, service and atmosphere were completely enjoyable!
Lovely little restaurant in picturesque Greenwich Village. Delicious food and good service. Happy to finally get a reservation at this popular spot.
It’s a small little gem of a restaurant. The owner Chris was extremely nice and accommodating. We decided to wait for a table and he brought out cups of champagne for our inconvenience. It’s a hard reservation but definitely worth the effort
Absolutely fantastic food and service! A charming little place that will continue to make our list for upcoming visits when we are in the city
Great little spot. Excellent ambience, service and food. Eat here if you can.
Really cute restaurant with tons of natural light and lots of charm. Food was terrific and service was outstanding. We will definitely be back!
Such a great little place. Great food. Loved the fontina biscuits. Loved the neighborhood too. Perfect Sunday brunch
