The Little Owl
First time at Little Owl. Amazing food and excellent service. Will definitely be back!!
So glad we tried this place for dinner and have already recommended it to family and friends. Service was very good and kind. Food was delicious and very tasty. I had the French onion soup and my husband the meatball sliders, very tasty. For our entrees we had the filet mignon and halibut. We order the special a side of the Brussels sprouts with Spivey roasted pecans, so delicious. Portions were just right. Oh and the wine and sangria were on point.
Sunday brunch. Great foods and services! We really enjoyed this cozy restaurant. The cheese burger was a big hit for me! Definitely go back there:-)
So good! Staff is great as is the food. Great vibe. More than a neighborhood place.
Food was not bad. Made a reservation but my table wasn't ready. Too many tables in a small space, so very noisy.
So glad to finally get to Little Owl; loved the vibe, the terrific people the setting ;wonderful experience! Looking forward to returning; thank you Little Owl!
The Little Owl never disappoints. I am certainly not the first to say, have the meatball sliders! Had a fried skate sandwich with coleslaw for lunch, after the meatballs, and it was perfect. Service was very good, not exceptional, but the place has such a special feel to it...tightly packed in, but I guess you would call it cozy/warm. Hey...its The Little Owl after all.
Love getting lunch here with my coworkers! Hospitality is amazing, food is superb, and atmosphere includes just the right amount of buzz without being too noisy.
FANTASTIC AS ALWAYS! Good food, service spectacular, amazing vibe
We had a delicious meal with friends. We all had the pork chops, which were amazing!
We love Little Owl! It’s our go to in the West Village. The food and service are always amazing!
Nice cozy dining experience. Food was very good and the staff were attentive and friendly.
The menu was amazing ant the seafood was perfectly prepared. It was very noisy and hard to hear over the din.
Perfect and good for pre theater at Cherry Lane--the best little restaurant in NYC!
Definitely worth sacrificing for the tight quarters. Food is excellent!
Very special seasonal menu. I had the special which was very tasty. The noise level got really high though as the place filled up.
Little Owl still great
...though I wish they still gave you 3 sliders instead of 2 but whatareyagonnado? Pork chop awesome & it’s all still worth it.
Lovely, cozy restaurant. Excellent service. Menu is too meat heavy but good.
Always wonderful. Great ambiance and service. Food excellent
Had an early morning breakfast. I was lucikly seated even before my reservation time, serivice is good, food is good too (not large portions). check out their bathroom too. it was so cute. Staff was very accomodating, appreciate it.
Love The Little Owl! Yes,it's small, quaint & very popular.Reservations are a must as there is always a waiting line. The staff here are very friendly & go out of there way to make all feel welcoming & comfortable. But the real star is the food & the chef. The menu is spot on with fabulous choices. The food simply fresh & fabulous.
Oh, The Little Owl gives enormous pleasure. The tempranillo by the glass was quite good. I had the bucatini and my friend had the eggplant parmigiana. Superb as was the friendly but not hovering service.
Delicious food, warm service. A go to spot for a special occasion.
Excellent food! Best French toast ever and the pork in the enchiladas is so tender and flavorful!!!
Our table was right next to door so it was quite chilly. Prob best to request a table in one of the corners.
Brunch was yummy.
Love this charming place. It’s like a great friend.
A simply brilliant evening - food, service, ambience - everything. If there was a 6-star rating, that's really what this meal deserves. From the welcome by the extraordinary host, to the friendly, informed and engaged service from our server, to every bite of every course, this evening confirmed for us - once again - that Little Owl sets the bar so high, few restaurants can compete with it. Less than an hour after we returned home, we booked another table for three weeks in the future. We'd like to go more often, but, in some ways, the pleasure of dining here is even greater after some time has passed since ine's last visit.
Love this place
Charming and small but vibrant
Food and drinks outstanding selection
A true gem of a restaurant. The staff are all delightful. Worthy of 3 Michelin stars! Absolutely enchanting!!
Our kids and their BFs treated us to lunch and it was amazing. Nice little place with great food
Quaint little restaurant with an abundance of atmosphere and quirkiness.
The team there really do look after you and nothing is too much trouble.
The only criticism and it is only small is the olive oil isn’t the best so don’t bother dipping your bread in.
Well worth a visit and I’ll recommend the restaurant when I’m back in England.
Great food, friendly service, cute location. Would return without hesitation.
The meatball sliders are to die for. The strip steak in the mushroom parpadelle was amazing. Then the chocolate soufflé was the best I’ve ever had. 5 stars as always. Love this place.
Just loved it!
Delicious food and wonderful service!!
Can’t wait to go back.
Gem of a neighborhood restaurant. Tiny, but delightful. Brunch is outstanding. Wait staff is excellent. It is NOT a place for a quiet conversation.
Little Owl is one of our favorite restaurants and did not disappoint. Great service, food, gracious and warm interaction. We had a wonderful citrus salad, roast chicken and a fantastic pasta with veal. The room has a great vibe but an intimacy that allows for conversation. We try to go a few times a year and wish we could get there even more.
Delicious, fresh, flavorful food! We had a Saturday lunch reservation that was running a bit late, but they were professional, kind and attentive regarding the issue. We had a lovely time.
Excellent in all regards
Went to brunch on a Saturday. Food was excellent as was the service. Possibly the best omelette I’ve ever had.
