Dinner was wonderful. Every dish was amazing! I highly recommend.
Absolutely delicious! Wonderful outdoor table and ambiance!
Lovely outside seating, great service interesting and delicious drinks and a wide variety of seasonal vegetables. No trouble eating for this vegetarian.
Wonderful service and wonderful food. Can't beat it
Loved it! I went there with my husband and baby and it was a lovely meal.
Always our first dining choice when visiting NYC from Texas. Every dish is creative, seasonal, fresh, and DELICIOUS!
Lovely as always! Even in the rain, they managed to make it warm and welcoming!! Thank you
Excellent meal and experience. Truly a neighborhood gem.
Outstanding as always, staff super attentive and sweet and food superbly delicious :)
Nice brunch selections. Food and service were good. The outdoor seating was comfortable in the rain; not too squashed.
Amazing restaurant. Customer service was AMAZING! Food was really good too and prices super low for how good the experience is. Will be back for sure!
The quality of the food, presentation and the people who work there is always top notch.
Siuch good food!
Love this place. And the staff. But lunch was truly bad. Oily and limp French fries inedible. Soft shell crab sandwich tasteless, as if they’d totally forgotten to add spices and salt.
Too bad. Because everything else here is so wonderful.
The Little Owl is just as charming outside as it always has been inside. The food is as good as ever. The servers were short-staffed but did a magnificent job nonetheless. No cheap, but worth it.
Excellent food and drink octopus, brocolini halibut and crispy chicken. If in west village nice place to dine.
We dine here regularly and have run out of adjectives to describe the food , service, and ambiance
Captures the vibe of the west village of the 1970’s when we first lived here
The service was great and so was our meal.
Everything we ordered was delicious and wait time between courses was minimal.
Would recommend The Little Owl to friends for sure.
Best haddock I have ever had. Meatball sliders continue to be great.
Just lovely every time we go!! This time we had lunch on a weekday and it was just fantastic. The staff, the did, the ambience... everything. Just amazing!!
Good. Like most NYC restaurants now they are short staffed.
Very nice service. Small portions but that isn’t a bad thing. Lovely little restaurant in a lovely corner.
The maitre d' was so kind, attentive, and informative (even knew the Latin names of the displayed flowers!). Miguel, our waiter, was patient, accommodating (food sensitivities), and timely. Our water glasses were always promptly refilled (90° day). The ambiance was lovely, relaxing, charming, and perfectly conducive to connecting with your company. Now, the food! “To die for” doesn’t seem appropriate to say anymore... but my goodness, The Little Owl absolutely has the best food in all of the West Village. Even the parts of the meal that I would usually push aside, were absolutely divine (The little salad that that meals are displayed over). To top it off, we got to see a little show performed by traveling musicians! Overall, it was the ideal dining experience.
We were able to sit outdoors for brunch and it was perfect. Nice to be able to book ahead.
Always s a treat. Love this place even during these crazy times
The service was great and the waitress was really nice and had great style. She was fast and quick. The happy hour deals were amazing
We loved the Little Owl. The Caesar’s salad was so good that we bought the Chef’s book just to get the recipe. My husband and I both had delicious dishes. And, our server - who may have also been the hostess was wonderful. Will be going back
On a bit more of the expensive side but well worth it - one of the best restaurants I’ve been too.
Nice place to eat and then take a picture in front of the Friends apartment. Waiter was attentive and food delicious. Food is a little pricey compared to the portions but worth it at least once for the ambiance.
The food rivals the vibe here. Both are top-notch. The staff is incredible as well!!
This was the latest of many visits to The Little Owl, but my first since the pandemic. The restaurant has coped inventively with the limits of pandemic dining. We were greeted enthusiastically by the convivial hostess and seated promptly. We ate outside in one of the uncovered sidewalk tables, as opposed to the enclosed street tables, on a brisk evening. But we were totally comfortable from the heat lamps above us and underneath the table. We started with broccollini as an appetizer and a caeser salad (both excellent, although not especially creative), followed by the salmon (perfect) and the halibut (excellent). The main dishes were nicely plated and served with tasty finishes. We had a reasonably priced 2015 Langhe from a small but interesting wine list. Service was very friendly and efficient. Overall, the restaurant has not lost a step from pre-pandemic days. We will certainly return.
We ate outside on a lovely, cool day and had a great, unhurried lunch with friends. The waiter was a bit overstretched but otherwise fine. Their outside set-up is excellent - tables well spaced and comfortable, heaters just right for the weather, easy time conversing with neither traffic (minimal) nor other guests competing for attention (despite a full crowd). Food was excellent as always. We all had different entrees: black bass, skirt steak, Caesar salad with steak, and pasta with shrimp.
Always a pleasure little owl.. glad to see you not only survived covid but are better then ever.
Gilbert is fantastic!! Food and service are impeccable
Was raining as we sat outside and didn’t even notice
Always love it and will definitely be back
It’s always the best. Service, food, and setting. Love it!!!
A must stop every time we come to New York! The food, service, and ambiance is terrific, and the outdoor dining experience was every bit as wonderful as eating inside. Can’t wait to return.
Had the best experience here! Would 10/10 recommend and go back!
Despedida o bien venida ???
Casual ... pero a la vez romántica ...
Cita de desayuno con sabor a cena
Fue wow !!!
Nunca deja de sorprenderme este lugar !!!!
We arrived early for an 8:00 and the host gave us some Prosecco while we waited of our table. He apologized for seating us “late” at 8:05. The outdoor seating is fantastic, with dividers between each table and a roof that makes each space feel intimate. The food, as always, was fantastic.
