Had a delicious lunch. The corn lobster bisque was outstanding and the service is warm and friendly Not to be missed..
Wonderful place so cozy and the food is also very nice
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here last night. I had the halibut and it quite possibly might be the best meal I’ve ever had in NYC!! This is definitely a precious little gem of a restaurant tucked away in Greenwich Village that I will return to often!!!
Very attentive staff, perfect service, good food and nice ambiance. Our best restaurant experience so far in NYC.
Fabulous place, loved it 😍
Great menu with a bustle and popular vibe
Always go when visiting New York! The food is incredible and service is outstanding. Staff always makes us feel welcome and remembers our names even though we visit only a few times a year!
Big portions of great food. Varied selection. A little bit cramped but that’s part of the feel.
Delightful. Great food and helpful servers. Can’t wait to go back.
From start to finish, the experience was stellar! Cannot wait to go back.
We had the best brunch!!. From the hostess, Amy , to our server and busboy, everyone was so nice and helpful. It was a lovely experience.
Great place for a cozy brunch! Food was delicious and the staff was very friendly!
I’ve been meaning to eat here ever since Alton Brown raved about the pancakes. Everything was superb. Service was excellent and everyone was so friendly. Thank you!
Food was very good and the service was top notch.
Lovely waitress and staff in general. She was funny and personable and applied just the right touch to keep our meal moving along without rushing us. Great brunch.
First time at Little Owl - an early dinner with the SO. Hostess was friendly & service staff were nice, efficient. Food was good - enjoyed the chocolate soufflé with coffee gelato above all (good coffee too). Atmosphere was intimate. Would definitely return & recommend.
Delightful dining experience from start to finish. Delicious food, wonderful atmosphere and service. A true gem!
I sat next to the heat which was too hot and the table was pushed so close to me because the place is so small and packed.
We had a lovely lunch. Food was very tasty and staff was attentive.
We arrived early and were offered iced coffees to sit outside with while we waited. We opted to sit at the bar to get seated faster. The service was top notch and our food was great! I would absolutely recommend. It’s a tiny but adorable spot in the west village. And it’s entertaining to see all the tourists gawking at the building from Friends! It certainly didn’t seem to be top of mind for anyone who works there.
Food was amazing... service was good... only downside was all the tourists outside taking pictures of the place.
My finacee and I came here to celebrate her birthday.
The ambiance was great, the restaurant was full but didn't feel too crowded, the food was delicious, and the service was great!
Incredible food! Great service
And fun atmosphere.
Second time at Little Owl and every bit as good as first time several years ago.
Will definitely include in every NYC trip.
We were there with a guest who had never been before. He had the chicken and just loved the whole experience
OMG The Little Owl is always amazing and I love to eat there as often as possible! Not inexpensive but worth every penny! And I love Chris. Can’t wait to go back.
Still our favorite restaurant! Always a perfect experience!
It was superb. Just wished there was something to buffer the noise level to chat
Amazing as always!
Although we expected a delicious meal (based on the excellent reviews that we read), we were very disappointed. The only dish that we liked was the eggplant parmigiana. Also--the olive oil that accompanied the bread was really excellent.
The main courses were terrible. Both of us ordered chicken that was inundated with much too much salt. I actually couldn't eat it. My friend ordered mashed potatoes with the chicken. The mashed potatoes were green and tasted horrible.
I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone. It's a little funky -in a nice way-but the food left so much to be desired.
I should mention that I'm not easy to please, but the tastes of the dishes were incredibly disappointing. What a letdown!!!
Little Owl is every bit as enchanting as I remembered it to be, and this makes it absolutely legendary. From the time I called to say we’d be 10 minutes late for our reservation to the time we left, the service was warm, courteous, intuitive, and skilled. The food, as always, was spectacular. The chicken is the best I may ever have had, and the bibb and beets is a splendid little salad. Go if you can get a reservation which are still hard for come by after all head years— and rightfully so!
Lovely little place with great service. Brunch was good, fresh and quick.
Been coming here for 10 years and never disappoints!Thank you for a terrific brunch
Yearly trip to NY wouldn’t be complete with a visit to Little Owl! First time to have weekend brunch though— it was fantastic! (And meatball sliders go with every meal!) Love The Little Owl!
Fabulous west village restaurant.Buzzy atmosphere and great food and wine.
Friendly service.Didnt realise it was the exterior location for Central Perk which is not played up to attract customers. Will return regularly in the future.
The food and service are outstanding, the wine selection by the bottle is excellent. Thank you little owl
Nice cozy place. Good comfort food and nice cocktails
The place is very cosy and nice and we’ve been welcomed promptly.
Excellent selection of music and fast service!
We sure like to return!
Very accommodating of late arrivals in our party. We had a wonderful time!
Great food and great service.
Barely enough space to seat two people comfortably per table - they are trying to squeeze in too many people into a very tiny space with the staff having difficulty navigating the tables themselves and this was on a quiet Friday afternoon!
Do not recommend - there are many other enjoyable, roomy places in the village that don't require acrobatics to get to your table.
