The restaurant is as good as ever (before the Pandemic). The food was delicious. Two of us had the shrimp salad and our other guest had the burger. Adding the sweet potatoes was a great touch to the burger and delicious. Totally enjoyed our luncheon.
Amazing food and ambience! Absolutely loved the experience
The food and drinks were incredible. Everything we ordered tasted fresh, was filling, and menu descriptions didn't do the dishes justice - well beyond expectations. While having Celiac's, it's kinda hit or miss if I feel "safe" eating in a restaurant, but I had zero concerns here. The service was also unparalleled - the staff knows what they're doing and you can feel a sense of teamwork on the floor throughout the experience from the moment you reach the host, to walking out the door.
Everything was terrific. The staff were friendly, calm and accomodating. I had the shrimp tacos in lettuce wraps which were ok just dull on flavor. My friend and I shared the shititso peppers and they had great flavor! I just recommended The Little Beet to a friend!
We always enjoy this place, though this time there was some disappointment with food. We usually come here for great appetizers and crispy skin salmon. I am not sure if there is a new chef, but the salmon dish was different, less tasty and had a funny combination of salmon, green apples and almonds. None of us found it good. Even the Cesar salad was not as good as usual.
The service is very good, and it's always a pleasure to be well taken care of. But we may need to take a break from this place if the menu stays the same
Everything we ordered was excellent, the service was attentive...
So we went to Buddha and checked the reviews before. We were aware they are either 5star or 1-2star= the place polarizes
Well in my opinion the 1-2 reviews are absolutely right. Here are my findings:
some might find it great - I just find this big Buddha tasteless and “cheasy” … it gives it a Walt
Music… no opinion, deeper talks will be not enhanced
In general all plates have a flavor issue - you do not feel enough flavor for the price. The stuffing of the “duck liver balls” was an undefined taste of something.
My guess a lot is pre-prepared or even purchased prepared (convience or sousvide)
You need to be aware of: this food is far away from fine dining - the prices not.
Yes it is true the service pushes you through your order, not in an unfriendly way but you feel pushed.
Our service also forgot one of the starters.
And we were seated close to the entrance where the service people took a rest and chatted among each other.
I left and seriously had a feeling of having been at a tourist attraction.
A big Buddha, some fancy lights … and the rest is mediocre for a high price.
Amazing that something like this still exists.
Turn the entire place into a big children event room. The Buddha is great - he could even have smoke coming out of his ears. And the service crew would probably also have more fun and a smile.
Little Beet Table is one of my favorite places. The varied menu with delicious special diets options. It never disappoints and is our go to for a nice quiet dinner out.
I am a Celiac patient. The staff was knowledgeable and caring. It’s nice to be able to dine out and not worry too much about contamination.
The food here is pretty ordinary other than the beet falafel. We've been here 3 times and it's really slipped. Last time for us.
Great food, drinks, service, and environment! I truly have no complaints and will definitely be returning. They are incredibly accommodating for those with intolerances/allergies/etc. and the food tastes incredible.
Great healthy and tasty food. Lots of gluten free options. Great cocktails.
It was delightful; the ambiance, the service, and the food that felt nourishing and delicious.
They were out of the few things a wanted which was frustrating, but the food we ordered was good and service was great
Interesting and flavorful veggie-centric menu. Staff was very friendly, although sometimes difficult to find if you needed something (like a refill of a drink). Despite this slight criticism, it's a great restaurant.
Lovely and delicious! Great cocktails! Really enjoyed the evening.
Great menu with delicious, health conscious food. Would recommend the shishito peppers.
Fabulous experience. Food was delicious. Staff ultra accommodating to substitute based on my food allergies and preferences. Hidden gem!!
I am a vegan and loved it! The 3 others were not and also loved it!
This was our second time here & it was just as delicious as the first! We have a few food allergies (Dairy & Gluten) & really appreciate the accuracy of the menu. There were a lot of great choices on the menu, I have included a list of what we have tried.
Sunflower Seed Hummus
Hanger Steak (had it both times)
Everything was yummy & presentation was on point! Look forward to going back!
I ordered the crispy salmon which wasn’t crispy at all but was still really good. It’s also took a really long time for our entrees to come out - almost over an hour. Which was strange since it was a weekday, not sure if they’re just getting started or if there were kitchen issue but the taste of the food & drinks, and overall ambiance was good.
The food is very good and the service is great. I wish they added specials once in a while. Miss some of
The dishes I loved like curried shrimp and braised fennel with beets. Maybe another fish besides salmon.
On the positive we know we can have a good meal
Without worrying about gluten and dairy.
Food was amazing…a must try!!!
We’ve been a few times here when we need a grab a casual dinner - don’t t feel like cooking at home. It has decent amount of vegetarian options m. I recommend the beetroot falafel, the flat bread and the burger as well. The bread in the dessert is great but a very large portion for two so be prepared to take a doggie bag home.
Amazing food! Every appetizer and entree were so good-and the service was wonderful
The crispy rice was so good - it’s a must order! Also had the mushroom black bean burger. Both were excellent.
It was a wonderful plane to have lunch . They went out of their way to make my friends birthday a memorable one.
food is delicious! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Food is great - service ok
Lovely!!! Everything but the falafel was delicious, LOVED the GF variety!
Such a wonderful experience. I’m allergic to gluten and could eat almost everything on the menu. Food was delicious and service was friendly and on point. We will definitely return.
We just had pretty terrible service. We waited for our food for about an hour and when I asked about it we were then just given a completely different waitress. When we finished eating we had to chase down a third waitress to get our check. The food was fine, not amazing. 3 pancakes came with a very small amount of strawberries.
Waited 90 minutes no food, asked waitress she said there was a delay in the kitchen. Then 10 min later went back to ask for an update and they brought out someone elses food and then said they could go back and ask for my order to made quickly
We left nearly 2 hours after being seated with no food
I came to the city and needed to eat gluten and dairy free without only eating salads. I felt like I got to eat like normal with my husband and friends and definitely had the cayenne pepper and blood orange margarita!! When I visit again-I will eat here for sure!
Shrimp tacos were great. Beet falafel app was really good too. Vegan options available. Nice staff!
The watercress guac was amazing. Had the salmon which was cooked perfectly and came with a delicious sauce. Banana bread for dessert was to die for. Highly recommend!
Beet falafel is amazing, great vibe, highly recommend!
The food is consistently excellent. The service is good.
Staff is nice.
Lovely, clean restaurant with wonderful service and interesting vegetarian and vegan choices. Hummus was made out of sunflower seeds which some liked but I thought it was too rich and didn’t care for taste. Baked falafel fell apart and was overwhelmed by the sauce it was served with. Really wanted to like the food because waiter and staff were so nice.
Great gluten free choices deliciously prepared. I’ll return
