It’s out of the way, aka nothing else to do with your family after dinner. And it’s pricey. The food was ok. Salty. Presentation was there but quality was not.

Horrible. I BEG KEEP LOOKING FOR SOMEWHERE ELSE TO EAT. We were seated at 7:45 with an 7:30 reservation and didn’t receive food until 8:50, 10 minutes before they close. Definitely will never be coming back again. Four people each ordered a steak either medium- medium rare. Which each was served cold and well done. The NY strip steak cost $52, at a decently reviewed place we assumed the food would be decent, even good, but sadly we were extremely disappointed with the entire experience overall. While waiting we assumed the food would be worth the wait due to the price and reviews having us anticipating a delicious dinner. Although they removed our two appetizers from the bill it can’t remove the disappointment we have faced while dining at this establishment.

Breakfast is best… dinner was good until mom was whacked in the back of the head with a high chair by a different server than our own. Zero apologies from server.

We had one child and a toddler. They were very accommodating. The food was delicious. The service was on point. The kids menu is the most extensive we saw in Duck. Crayons and a child's menu to color was offered. All adults enjoyed their dinner selections. The evening we were there, the noise level was loud. This is a casual restaurant with an upscale menu. We have had a meal here before. Return customers.

This place has to be the best restaurant on the island. Incredible service, fantastic food + it takes reservations. I have been going to OBX for many years, but my first time at Lifesaving Station, will be back soon.

Have been here many times, this visit seemed off, drinks were not up to par, food was okay, service was slow and almost seemed like we were forgotten after dinner was served. Had nice private room upstairs with great views.
