A lovely evening. The food was great. The table set up meant we could have a nice conversation without it being too loud with others round. The outdoor area is lovely to sit in and enjoy a summers evening.

Fabulous little pub in an idyllic setting, food was amazing and the service impeccable. Our first visit was last year and our 2nd didn't disappoint, hoping to be back again next year 🙂

An outstanding experience. We were delayed by around half and hour so called to check this would be ok. We were advised that their kitchen was closing around the time we were going to arrive, but as long as we ordered swiftly on arrival they would take care of us. They were true to their word: we had 2 courses which never felt rushed, with excellent service and delicious food. If only all restaurants would be as customer focused as this.

Excellent food (as always) but ambience reduced by lack of other customers - perhaps a reflection on the hot weather.

What a shame! We had a mishap here with a Sunday lunch late last year and it was resolved beautifully. This is our absolute favourite pub in the area, with its food incomparable to its competitors. Until today, food was awful!! Apparently, the head chef left 3 weeks ago and the new chef doesn’t turn up. Amazing Sophie, who was front of house, has also gone. Vanessa, the manager who sorted out the Sunday lunch fiasco, also gone. I really hope they sort it out because it wasn’t just bad but inedible today - risotto where the rice hadn’t even been cooked. Really hoping they can sort it out and we can return for many happy meals in the future.
