I’ve been to the Liberty Tavern for brunch and had a very tasty and enjoyable experience. The price was reasonable the food was delicious and a lot of variety and the service was great! I decided to try the tavern for a lunch date with my husband on Valentine’s Day. We both ordered salads. His steak salad and mine chicken chopped salad. We were totally UNDERwhelmed. The chicken in mine was flavorless and the entire presentation lacked . The salad just not that amazing. My husbands’s steak salad was also not that good. He did say the steak itself was tasty but the rest just so so. Like the first brunch visit, our server at lunch was perfect. She was pleasant, efficient and very helpful. So my recommendation is if you’re not at Brunch.......don’t order the salads!

I just tried the chopped chicken salad, which I had not had before. It was exceptionally good, complex and flavorful. A step above the usual chopped salad!

The meal was tasty and the kids menu very impressive. Service was quite good. Main downside was that the lighting was so dark that we had to use phones to read the menu.

Top notch brunch buffet with house made sausage, bacon and smoked salmon. All your favorites from fried chicken, French toast, grits, pastries, salads and soups. All homemade and legitimately better than most of your other local eateries.
Don’t sleep on liberty tavern if you’re looking for a brunch spot that seems to always stay consistent. Make every effort to get your reservations.. as I’m not the only one who feels this way. Lots of locals every weekend flock to this place. And lastly, get in early for easier access to the buffet with an abundance of fresher ingredients.
Enjoy!

Came for the Sunday brunch and was pleasantly surprised at the unique options available on the buffet. Everything was very fresh and empty food items were quickly replenished.

The brunch buffet was wonderful - a wide variety of choices including vegetarian ones. It was constantly being replenished. The service was very attentive but not interfering. We never felt rushed to finish up and leave. Don't eat much breakfast because you will be sorry if you do!

As always, a great brunch option. The all-you-can-eat brunch is very tasty.

Our second time here, a disappointment (last time was lunch, better). Although we were seated according to our reservation (a must Saturday night), and the waiter was polite, the ongoing service and food were mediocre at best. The tavern salad was over-dressed and too vinegary to eat, and essentially just plain greens, nothing like description; when I said something to the employee who was eager to remove my half eaten dish, she clearly did not understand my complaint. Entrees took forever to come out. Garnishes/sides were indecipherable (sweet potatoes liquid, kale undercooked). The desserts were strange--just sugary and not great. We weren't ever asked how our food was, and it was nothing special. At $35 pp Restaurant week prices (before drinks), still not worth it. Won't be returning or recommending. Very overrated.

A group of friends and I went for restaurant week - Liberty Tavern was listed as a restaurant participating for brunch. However, when we got to the restaurant the 'deal' was their normal all-you-can-eat brunch for $22.95. We were disappointed by this 'deal'. The food for a buffet was average.

Good food, good service but noise level - even upstairs where it is generally moderate - was overwhelming.

Excellent dinner. Lovely wine list. Very intuitive and friendly service. Server overheard a conversation about a birthday and then surprised us with dessert. Over the top. Every single person was friendly and helpful. Food was wonderful. We love it here.
