Thanksgiving Dinner -
Ordered prime rib medium rare with green beans substituted for asparagus- received well done dried out meat. Finally after multiple attempts to get waiters attention he brought a medium rare piece but took green beans back and replaced with asparagus- after asking twice for green beans ( can’t eat asparagus due to a diet restriction) gave up.
Desert portions of pie for both my guest and I were considerably smaller than the folks on either side of guests us as well.
So somewhat disappointing night at a normally excellent restaurant.
We ate there on Thanksgiving. The food choices were great & the food was delicious. Our waiter was great.
Food was not hot. Pie was served with a spoon but no fork.
The floor was wet and dirty around the table, the server couldn't hear some requests [?] didn't know the answers to questions and kept dissappearing, then told us the kitchen was closed and gave us the bill. The food was okay.
Really liked the location, food and service. Good selection on the menu.
Went for brunch and did the all you can eat option. The food was great and so was the service! Will definitely be back.
Food and cocktails were both great and so was the service
Last minute dinner plans and Liberty Tavern was the perfect choice for it. Food was delicious and great selection to choose from. Steady for a Sunday but not too crowded which we appreciated. Will definitely be back!
Great food, fantastic service, cool setting.
Great food and service! A very enjoyable experience
Great food, service & atmosphere. Small portions.
Food was ok. We sat outside, which was nice, but there was absolutely NO shade. They should have an awning or umbrellas for outside service.
Out waitress”Sophia I think) was great
Everything was great until a couple of servers starting coming by the tables asking us to finish up because there were reservations waiting for our table. We weren't the only table to be approached. It was weird, especially because we made a reservation too. We weren't walk-ins. Even if we had been, it was uncool.
Quite good food in a civilized pub environment. Smoked chicken wings exellent. Good draft list.
Double date! It was perfect to talk and not feel like others were listening in. The food was amazing and the waiter was ver personable and funny.
Great spot to fill up and hang out! All guests at our table did the "Unlimited Plates" - we all do it or we all don't. But the "Unlimited Drinks" each person can choose to add on individually. I used to go when the brunch was a buffet, but they have shifted to small plates - which I love! Everything is fresh and warm and I didn't feel SO overly full when I left as I have in the past - we know we like to eat with our eyes!
Good food, reasonable prices, energetic atmosphere.
Bottomless Brunch was very filling. To have them bring the small plates to you instead of the buffet style is always top-tier.
Food was delicious, high top tables were our only option but eating near the bar, even at 7:30 was so loud you could not converse across the table. Strange smell of mildew around our table, probably from the mop used on the floor or table, but gross. Waiter was focused on the online ordering device which was distracting and took much longer than other methods.
We have always had a good meal here even with the loudness so I'm reluctant to ding too much because of this experience.
Food at this establishment is always amazing. It never disappoints. Service was great and it wasn’t too noisy. The grilled octopus was delicious. I got the chicken over mashed potatoes, and it was cooked to perfection and more than I could eat, so I took the rest to go.
Everything was great, good food and great value. Definitely recommend for brunch.
We were accommodated at short notice (via online) booking. The restaurant was clearly busy but staff were very attentive and engaging. Wait for food was short and the quality of the meal was excellent. Really enjoyable, we will definitely come back and recommend to others.
A nice outdoor dining option for lunch/brunch. Excellent service.
The Liberty Tavern is one of our favorites and this visit was lovely, outside seating on a sunny fall day. Squash soup and Brussel sprouts were stand-outs.
Nice enough place, made a reservation for 10 and the table provided in the bar area could not handle 8 people comfortably, let alone 10. Very dissapointed.
Food was good and service was adequate.
little improvements would make this place significantly better: bring more ketchup to the table instead of a tiny little bit of it. your soda is disgusting, it felt more sweet and less carbonated than a coke would, your beer isn't cold enough.
Very nice dinner outside. Great burger. Will be returning soon!
Food was good and the service as well. I left my credit card at the restaurant and they contacted right away.
Brunch - small plates: you could get much better for the same price at a couple of other places around Clarendon. Slow service, sticky table, and generally underwhelming food.
Great brunch with friends or family and bottomless mimosas!
The corn chowder is awesome, and it can be made without bacon. I forgot to specify that it be made without bacon, but the staff were very gracious about it and brought out another corn chowder without the bacon. There is excellent outdoor seating. I also really appreciate that they offer Virginia wine - the Viognier really hits the spot! Their pizza is delightfully crusty. I also appreciate that the staff let my friend and me split a lemon ricotta cake between us. That cake was amazing. 13/10, would visit again.
Our food, the service, ambiance, and noise level were fantastic. Our server was an excellent wine sommelier and decanted our wine perfectly.
Thank you to Connor, the female manager on duty, and the whole team for delivering an amazing dining experience.
Keep up the great work. Houston has a lot of amazing spots for brunch and outdoor dining, but this has been one of the BEST brunch experiences I've had in my life.
Food was hit or miss. Two of the items we had were delicious. Several were fine and several were horrible. Service was awful. Waiter didn’t take our order for a long time and then never checked back. Our food was very slow to come and after we finished eating about 45 minutes later, our waiter
stopped at the table and said “did your food ever come?” Wow. Hopefully this was just a bad day… We have always loved our LT experiences before this.
The duck entree was delicious. The service was superb. First time and we will definitely be back...
Terrific waitress. Nice outside table. Not as noisy as inside.
Entrees were generous in size and delicious.
Delicious meals. GF grandson loved his chicken, vegan granddaughter loved her salad and fries. My fettuccine pesto was delicious! Good time had by all!
