The unlimited small plate brunch allows you to taste a variety of delicious items on the menu. The staff was accommodating and friendly. We are looking forward to our next visit there.
OK place, not great. Service was slow and had to wait forever to get the bill when we were done eating, and then nobody came for back for it so to pay it I had to go to the front desk and ask for someone to take my credit card. The Sunday prime rib special was mediocre at best, although the wings were good!
The Liberty Tavern is a great place to go if you want small plates and plenty to drink. The service was impeccable, the food was divine and brought to our table fast and HOT. I do not remember our waiters name, however, he was attentive, fast and made our visit worth coming back!
The ambiance wasn’t really what I was expecting. For some reason I was thinking more quiet, booth style seating, warmer atmosphere, etc. it definitely wasn’t a disappointment just not what my mind was expecting. It’s very family friendly, diverse and welcoming...like a tavern should be. The good was good. Be warned, the bacon was very salty. The hi light of my brunch plates was the grilled cheese and tomato soup...DELICIOUS! It’s in a good location with a nice picturesque statue across the street.
The food was great! the service was so/so. Our waiter was busy upstairs and we found ourselves having to flag him down a few times. Drinks were great as well! we will come back
The burger was over cooked
Food was ok. I bit pricey for the all you can eat brunch. Had much better all you can eat tapas at other restaurants for $9 less and also included bottomless sangria.
most notable, was the lack of distancing between customers. I almost left due to all tables being used and only a plexiglass between tables. I don’t think the restaurant is practicing distancing and looking primarily at ROI. I have been to many many restaurants in December and most had safety as a priority. For this reason, I won’t be returning as it is not worth the risk and cost.
The food was amazing. Very affordable, fresh, and delicious. The staff was very welcoming and friendly!
New Years eve
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ best pizza and pasta in Arlington!
Pasta was excellent. Caesar salad was good but not great. Service was great. Wine mark ups were a little high (well over double ($68 for a wine I buy $28 retail)
Best area for dining is upstairs on the second floor. Quieter, more space and better to converse. Downstairs is great for a bit more party scene, seeing and being seen and more focus on drinks than food, though the do have very good bar grub.
This place has great food and great service overall.
I originally made indoor reservation. Due to concerns w/ covid, i called and talked to a hostess and she said an outdoor table would be warm and cozy. It was anything but. It was freezing out there, no plastic covering up, heater not on when we arrived, and metal chairs were terribly cold. They got the heater on and it helped, but we could not wait to get out of there as we were still terribly cold. Food was good.
Awesome food and comfortable outside seating. A neighborhood gem.
I should preface this with I’ve been in the service industry for 6 years and I never have left a bad review for a restaurant. We initially had asked for a heat lamp to be moved closer and they said no and that other people were using it. Fine. I get it. A lot of people are only comfortable eating outside and the heat lamps are being used. Ordered a beer and I ordered a mixed drink, fine. We ordered our dinner and it took 40 minutes for the worst lobster ravioli I imagine there is. It was dry and the “half lobster tail” that comes with it was so over cooked and dry that I couldn’t even pull the meat from the shell. My boyfriend then ordered another beer and when it got to the table, he spit out a full spider. As a bartender, this tells me that the lines are unclean. When the check came and that beer was still on the check I had to argue with the server that he had found a literal full spider in his beer and she tried to tell me that it was because “we were sitting outside” as if a spider had propelled into his drink in the 30 second it had been sitting on the table. I can’t believe we spend $70 of our hard earned money, in a pandemic, when we could have been spending it somewhere that was actually worthy of our time and money and was doing things properly.
We had reservations at 2 pm, the didn’t seat us til 2:20, and didn’t the drink deal they had that ended at 3, even though it was their fault they sat us late
Great service, food and beer! The french fries are delicious!
Excellent food and atmosphere - looks like a little local bar but presents high end food!
Such a nice bar, with great food, drinks and really friendly personnel who is also bilingual.
They had a friendly and attentive staff. The food was really good. Seating was socially distant and we were very comfortable with their safety standards for the pandemic.
Service and food were great. Convenient to metro.
Greta brunch! I had the French Toast, which came with a side of bacon (other restaurants usually charge). Prices are very reasonable and everything was delicious! Especially their scrambled eggs with cheese - very fluffy and flavorful!
The new brunch concept is phenomenal. I felt safe and will definitely go back.
Loved the vodka sauce pizza!
The brunch was excellent. Practically perfect proportions. Delicious dishes and combinations with thoughtful presentation. We opted for the all you can eat brunch menu, which was perfect. The French toast dippers were thick and cooked perfectly creating a firm but mist consistency - the pecan maple syrup was the icing on the cake for this dish. I added their examples eggs w/ cheese, and a side of the thick cut bacon - a delicious rendition of breakfast staples. After this round I tried the Cajan shrimp and grits, which was not bad at all, probably even really good for most people - but I’m from the south, so I’ve have better. My 15 year old son had about three helpings of the everything avocado toast, and the Mac and cheese was served on a mini skillet with rich, yummy white cheeses - very good.
Wonderful place! Such a great experience, our server gave us amazing service. 30$ for unlimited brunch and 10$ more for bottomless mimosas, what more could you ask for?! They have food for everyone’s liking.
Been here a handful of times, but not since the pandemic. Still a great place. Always has great food.
Waitress made an excellent recommendation with the breakfast pizza. It was meaty cheesy goodness! My friend enjoyed her hangar steak main. Service was excellent and they were ok with us being a few minutes late. Would return!
Food was delicious and our waiter was very attentive! I would say a great value for the quality of food (I had the lobster ravioli and it was great). We sat outside and were very comfortable with the distance between us and the next table - we were actually separated by plants as well. Overall quite nice.
Great service, and thoughtful use of hands-free menu and disinfecting protocols. Food was great, street was a little loud due to street construction around the corner.
The best meeting place in Arlington! The Happy Hour is also a terrific with both drink and food specials. The outdoor seating is excellent for people watching.
My husband and I hadn’t been here in awhile. Food was delicious as always with great service. We were seated on time for our reservation and the staff was friendly with wearing masks.
Great Service and Food!
We had a nice brunch. I ordered the Salmon eggs Benedict and it was so good. My partner had the hanger steak and it was cooked to perfection. We drank the make your own mimosas. I felt safe even with Covid restrictions. Everything turned out great and I’ll go back again.
Great food and staff ❤️
Really enjoyed brunch here. Everything was very well prepared and seasoned. The service was fast! We tried several things and everyone was happy! We also shared a lot. The french toast - light & balanced well with the vanilla and syrup. Lobster Benedict - excellent - very surprised at the juicy succulent pieces of lobster - egg poached perfectly. I know everybody is doing Avocado Toast these days - well this version was surprisingly a cut above - even pleased my vegetarian sister. Really didn't feel like cooking, so we also took home the smoked wings and Autumn pizza - Another hit! Have already added Liberty Tavern to my "Go To" list.
Great food and service. good outdoor space. Attentive service.
Food was great, service outstanding
Sat down right away with reservation
Went for Brunch, but menu on website and menu boards outside by entrance did not reflect the limited COVID menu we were given once inside. The lobster was dry and overcooked and felt lie chewing on a piece of jerky. Unappetizing, but we finished our Mimosa's and stayed, but doubt if I Weill be back!
Eating outside was terrific.... felt very safe and taken care of.... food is always terrific
