The Liberty NYC
Once indoor dining resumes, The Liberty's exclusive downstairs Clubroom is a perfect location for any private event for 30 to 150 people. The entire venue can hold 300 people or more, depending on the set up of your event.
The Liberty Bar itself, embodies the spirit of the city she serves; the Liberty to be one’s self. A 4000 square foot bar/restaurant set over two levels. Super good food and cocktails. Comfortable outdoor seating. Will definitely go back.
it was ok my waiter was a little rude and pushy the food was ok my overall experience was a 4/10
Great happy hour deals
One of my favorite spots in the city and the best for happy hour deals, both with drinks and food. Will keep coming here!!
Food was great and so was the customer service!!
Unfortunately I didn't make it to dinner but my friend absolutely loved it. She loved her shrimp cocktail. I will make it up and show up for happy hour.
We went for brunch. While I understand that they were trying to create an atmosphere it was far too loud and the music was grating.
The drag show was fun but the service and the food were both really really bad, So bad we left before the show ended. Food was undercooked and cold. Everything was cold. I know brunch is a hard meal for restaurants but this was really, really, really bad. BAD!
Also the "unlimited" drinks that would have helped dull the pain were sorely lacking.
Will not be returning.
The drag brunch was amazing! We had so much fun. Will def be back
My all time favorite happy hour spot! Service is always great, food is delicious, drinks are perfect! Will always recommend this place :)
Very loud and tight. Not for dinner with fsmily. Perfect gor after work drinks and small tslk.
So much fun! Love the price of the bottomless mimosas. Our waiter was so much fun. The drag queens were amazing. We sat where there was a pole in our way most of the time, but that is okay. This is my second time being here, I love it!
Amazing drag brunch! Good value bottomless drinks to enjoy the food with. Make sure to sit on the front side of the bar for the best viewing.
The specials have added some nice new options to the menu. The fish & chips are great!
Extremely loud. Like, nearly everyone is yelling as loud as they can. Not an exaggeration. Food is terrible, really missed the mark. Nice vibe and decor. Definitely a bar, not a restaurant.
Amazing!! I love going to the Liberty for happy hour but this time it was for my boyfriends surprise birthday party. Thank you guys for making this night special! ☺️
Get location. Friendly service. Definitely going back
It was perfect food ambiance and of course serves
Service was good, food was meh, cold when it came out and not so tasty. To heat the food up it came out over cooked.
The atmosphere at brunch on a Sunday a absolutely fabulous!! The incredibly talented and vivacious drag queens put on a gorgeous show and the staff are super friendly and fun. I wasn’t given the option for bottomless booze which I probably would have chosen instead of having individual cocktails, but I’ll definitely be back. Caroline the host is marvelous!
Awesome experience well organized by the Liberty Team and loved the lounge setup downstairs thanks to the Liberty Team
This is a drinking not dining establishment. The food left is all in search of Rolaids and Prilosec.
This is our first time to NYC and the Liberty NYC didn’t disappoint. It was the perfect spot for our Saturday night date. Great service, fast & efficient. Our drinks were outstanding and the food was delicious.
The service was very slow and there was no heat in the restaurant during the afternoon. Food orders took almost an hour to arrive. We were holding an office luncheon there and most of the guests sat with their coats on. At 12pm on a weekday, we all given the brunch menu (eggs and pancake). When we requested the regular menu, the server seemed very confused and had to ask her manager. The service was not very professional and I would not recommend holding a business lunch event there.
Extremely loud. Only fill tables are bar height on backless stools. More geared towards bar/club than restaurant
Went for my birthday with a large party of 14 people. They were very accommodating to our large party, with our table being ready early and allowing us to sit and order without the entire party there yet. There was only 1 server for our party, and this caused the service to be slow. Our waitress was great, but needed help. Overall, the ambiance was energetic and fun! Perfect if you're in your 20's and the food was excellent!
Good pub food and casual dining. Very Good for large groups.
We had a large lunch party (more than 10) but overall the restaurant was slow with only 2 other tables. First we ordered some appetizers, the hush puppies were nothing like I've ever had before, and not in a good way. Definitely stay away. The calamari was ok but the French Fries were very good. Overall the entire group was just OK with their entree choices. I ordered the Fig Jam pizza, which was so overcooked you couldn't even taste any of the flavors. A friend ordered a medium rare steak that came out well done and I was told the Mac and Cheese was just OK. It was a very disappointing meal and I don't suggest eating here.
Black Friday and we were only ones there. Service was accommodating and nice. Food was good for pub fare. Wish there were more people but we liked it!
Wonderful French onion soup ssndwhich and cocktails! I’ll be back!
What? I can’t hear you...
Waited 10 minutes and never even got asked our drink order. We left.
Fun restaurant. Our second time there for Clemson game! Lots of good food, drinks, and great service.
We really enjoyed the visit, but the room is cavernous and so noisy. We had to talk loudly to each other to be heard. Otherwise, the food was surprisingly good and reasonably priced. Decorating is very New York City, very cool! A little too loud for me, but my friend and her husband plan to return.
This is THE place to watch a Clemson football game. The NYC Clemson Alumni pack the place the it's crazy fun!!! The food is good and the service is great-we will definitely return when we are back in the city:)
We were expecting a steakhouse style restaurant but it was more of a pub atmosphere. That being said, the food was very good and we even had three steaks (medium, medium rare and rare) and they came out perfect. Our waiter was also the bartender (Niall) so he had to keep coming out from the bar to come over to the tables to serve us and the other people seated. But despite that handicap, the service was good and Niall was from Ireland so he was very friendly.
Everything around Penn Station/MSG is either a boisterous Irish Pub, which is great in certain situations, or a trashy tourist trap. Finding the Liberty after a concert at MSG as a NYer was a pleasant and much welcome surprise. It is elegant, open, has friendly service, great cocktails, and reasonable prices. We’ll be back!
I'm a huge Clemson fan, and this was the place to go to watch the game. The food was terrible and so were the margaritas. The bar was standing room only, however I was lucky enough to get a table. Don't go here to dine...Clemson football would be the only reason. Go Tigers!!!
It was a little more like a bar than a restaurant. We were expecting something a little nicer based on the photos.
Too loud. No longer has oyster happy hour which was why we went. Service was good.
