Great food. Lovely service. Gorgeous place. Highly recommend.
Lovely dinning experience as always and good food.
Fantastic location and views, good service. But a limited menu, not very tasty food and therefore expensive for what you get.
A lovely meal for our last night on holiday. Beautiful views. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff.
Enjoyed being back at Lewinnick. Again had a great steak & lovely bottle of Zinfandel. Nice to see the old faces amongst the staff. Some of the staff are brilliant.
Lovely food, beautiful views, friendly staff, what more could you want
First time we have eaten here and we had a great experience. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the food is delicious. We chose the seafood platter to start - an excellent choice! Our party had steaks and the curry - all very very nice and tasty. We will be back next time we are in Cornwall 😊😊
Our meal was amazing couldn’t fault anything. We have lived in Newquay for 19 years and have eaten here many times always great . But the steak I had last night was just beautiful and the peppercorn sauce made it even better . I am a chef myself snd work in hospitality . We haven’t been out for a meal in a very long time due to covid and rising cases in Newquay . So my only complaint is the staff not wearing masks when serving being that they are all quite young and have probably not been vaccinated so ruined the evening a little bit . I appreciate it is not mandatory to do so but in an enclosed environment it’s something I personally would have preferred . But can’t fault the place or the food . Thanks for a lovely evening . I certainly will be returning sooner rather than later
The team were very accommodating and helped us during our visit with my elderly (91) father in law. Our table overlooking the ocean made for a very special dinner. Will definitely be back when next in cornwall.
Sat outside and views were amazing. Service was lacking.
Thank you for the lovely time our party experienced at your restaurant. The spectacular views coupled with good quality refreshments, drinks and food made for a memorable time out.
Your approachable, professional and guest oriented staff team helped to make the experience a great one too.
Really enjoyed the main courses of the meat and fish sharers but disappointed with the dessert - apple and rhubarb crumble - arrived cold so sent back, replacement was marginally warmer but the dish is just a fruit base with crumble sprinkled over the top which is not heated or baked- expensive at £8.50 Our server was really nice and as this was clearly not her fault and obviously how they serve it I at it and left
Beautiful views. Food well presented. Not hurried.
Generally all good with service and food, but we did ask for the ice cream to be changed on a dessert and it came with ice cream on the menu. Only other comment would be that the crumble topping was a bit soft rather than crunchy like a crumble.
We will be back 👍
First time visit and will definitely go again. Beautiful food, attentive service and great value.
Had the best meal here for my dads birthday. Highly recommend
Fantastic place, foods great but was disappointed at the availability of some of the dishes, that being said I'd go there every day if i could just for the view
The food was excellent but took a long time. We had to remind the waiter about our drinks as he forgot to tell the bar staff. The setting is beautiful and atmosphere lovely. We will definitely visit again.
We had a fantastic lunch at Lewinnick Lodge overlooking the sea. Staff were very attentive and friendly and the food/drinks well presented and faultless. I would recommend the seafood platter which was amazing.
Will definitely be going back.
restaurant was nice. we went 8oc on 15th sep. couldn't see the view but can imagine it's lovely. food was good. limited menu and 2 items not available. waitress was exceptional. She did the work of 3 people but happily. We needed a cab but apparently there is a shortage and the hotel were unable to ring one for us, so we were stranded. I tried at least 4 cab firms but no luck. I ended up in desperation calling our hotel tolcarne beach and the restaurant manager came and picked us up. It was really kind of him. I cancelled a further booking at the lewwenick Lodge purely because of lack of cabs
Beautiful food and views as always from the Lewinnick. To some degree pricey, however worth every penny for the unmatchable views.
A return visit to Lewinnick after 3 years and didn’t disappoint. Such a lovely location. Great table overlooking sea. Had a very pleasant lunch, sirloin steak and fish and chips. Both very nice. We were a little disappointed in dessert, chocolate brownie, but this is possibly down to personal choice as we like a gooey consistency and these were more like chocolate sponge pudding. Expensive at £8.50! That aside, we had a lovely lunch and the staff were very good/attentive.
The service food and views make it a place we will always return to.
Once again not disappointed superb food and service back Thursday evening
Very attentive service. Food excellent. Lovely surroundings. A little noisy at times, bar staff throwing empty bottles into a bin, made me jump. A little thing I know but worth mentioning.
Fantastic views with service to match. Wide choice of food on menu which was excellent and really well presented. Thoroughly recommend
I booked 2 tables - a 6 & a 4 at 9:15pm & 9:30 pm in celebration of my mother & father in laws 50th Wedding Anniversary. I rang on the day to ask if it was possible for our tables to be close together and Lewinnick Lodge went out of their way to accommodate us - they put our tables together and we were all seated by 9pm and allowed to celebrate. Our waiter was very friendly but not intrusive. We had an excellent evening and I highly recommend Lewinnick Lodge.
Lovely evening here & sat at a table with such a fabulous view! Food and cocktails were great and the service from everybody there was faultless! :-)
Very disappointed after travelling quite a distance and looking forward to a Sunday lunch.
Our reservation was for 2.45pm and the food that was served was cold and inedible.
We had 2 mussels and a roast. The mussels were good but the vegetables were too al dente
An excellent Sunday lunch. Scrummy beef and Yorkshires. Our dog was made very welcome. The waiter was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. The views are amazing. Will be coming back!
Lovely food. Decent amount of choice. Friendly, approachable staff.
Poor choice of menu, service poor had to return cloudy beer.
We love it here! Perfect lazy Saturday afternoon dining. The service is wonderful - nothing at all to complain about. Oh the cheese board is HUGE!
Excellent food, the laksa was phenomenal..! A beautiful place with great views over the ocean. Excellent service also
Was a beautiful day and we sat outside enjoying the fantastic coastal view and sunshine. There were three of us, mum had the Seafood platter a great selection, I had the mussels and my dad had the Thai Laska.
Food was excellent and we followed with the Panna Cotta with fruits - lush! Dad had the Apple & Rhubarb crumble.
Staff were lovely, helpful and very pleasant. Also outside chairs and tables really good quality and very comfortable. If it's a nice day you cannot beat the view!
A very enjoyable family birthday lunch. The staff looked after us very well. The two children (6 and 3) loved it and their food. One kind of criticism is that my adult fish and chips was too large a portion, I would have rather had the 'kids' size - then I might have had a dessert.
Every time we visit Cornwall, on our last evening dining out at the Lewinnick lodge is a must, from the servers to the food everything has always been perfect. We will continue to dine there every time we are in Cornwall. It’s a perfect place to go as the views are always stunning form the window tables and especially the large patio area. Would recommend this place to everyone 🙂🙂
Lovely breakfast and great service from all the staff in particular Angela who was very friendly. Would definitely return.
Went for breakfast at 10am. 90 minute slot just perfect on a rainy day. Eggs benedict looked lovely however I had vegetarian breakfast which was superb & I wasn’t hungry until teatime. Very dog friendly. Very good flat white, strong & creamy. Some of the best service & staff we’ve had during our stay. Unfortunately they’re fully booked all week for evening meals, as we’ve dined here before and it was superb. Perfect setting & a just what we wish for when we come to Crantock xx 👌🏼🌟🥰🌟
