Had a lovely meal out for a birthday celebration. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and the food was brilliant. They were excellent for accommodating coeliac diet too.
it is ok food, I would not say it is value for money
Fantastic setting, attentive staff, sadly the menu choice was rather limited, the burgers we had were a bit dry.
Best fish and chips I have had in a long time. Food well presented and staff friendly.
Always a pleasure when visiting the Lewinnick Lodge, my favourite place when I visit Cornwall and can’t wait to visit again in the new year. New decor looks great too and definitely made us feel welcome, as always.
The atmosphere was superb and the waitresses were friendly and efficient. Food was excellent. A lovely meal
And a enjoyable evening.
Limited menu and prices are now expensive. Will not go again
As always at Lewinnick, great views, great food, great service everytime! Thank you
Great!!! Food , service and location. The go to place…
Every time we come to Cornwall we love to visit Lewinnick Lodge. Food, service and view all perfection
With views over Fistral Bay whilst you dine this place is a must. Great general menu together with fabulous selection of tender Sunday Roasts available. Finish off with one of the mouthwatering desserts.
Excellent breakfast with a lovely view and great service
we loved our evening , i have been loads of times and this was great
Wonderful lunch to celebrate a special birthday, asked for a sea view and got a great table, service was fantastic, could not fault the food, we would recommend a visit and we shall be definitely treating ourselves again very soon, thankyou
A great evening with good food in a very pleasant environment.
Limited menu, very mediocre food. Nice restaurant & bar area with glorious sea views.
Ladies toilet was out of use, so we had to use disabled loo… sadly flush not working in there either!
Tasty breakfast with a fabulous view of Fistral Beach.
Better than last time after improvements to bar and restaurant area
Excellent food, excellent service, would highly recommend
Great venture with amazing view. Very friendly staff and good food
4 friends ate at the lewinnick last night, food atmosphere and service was exceptional!!!
One of favourite places to eat in newquay
Fantastic vibe as soon as you walk in, you feel welcome! Probably one of the best meals out we have ever had, will be back when we come to Cornwall next! Perfect.
We have been going to the lewennick now for some years as we live quite close. Due to restrictions etc because of the pandemic it has been lacking in good service and ambience . Last night every box was ticked with bells on. All staff were friendly and helpful from the start. Adam served our meals and drinks and I have to say he went above and beyond! He has restored our faith in the lewennick. We will be back very soon!!
Excellent food as usual. Good to see high standards being maintained.
Excellent food and friendly efficient service combined with stunning views
Been here twice now, absolutely amazing food and a great atmosphere, the staff are very friendly
All very lovely, apart from main course being a bit lukewarm
Starters very poor, smoked mackerel pate looked and tasted like paste out of a jar, anchovy fillets were not grilled, but in oil, also possibly straight from a jar. Mains were better, but I was kept awake most of the night with a bad tummy ache! Have been going here for years, but won’t be returning for some time sadly.
Lovely decor, beautiful scenery, wonderful views from the deck. Great atmosphere to share lunch with friends.
Excellent service and food in nice surroundings. We will be returning.
A very good experience. Lovely staff who had a sense of humour. Look forward to visiting again.
Always a winner. We bring gusts all the time and they are always very impressed. The muscles were delicious and he views amazing.
Food was loverly the view was even better, would definitely recommend
Good food. Friendly, professional service & a good ambiance! Will go again
A fantastic restaurant, tables well spaced apart, beautiful views and excellent service. We have been visiting this restaurant when celebrating our special occasions for several years & have stayed in their rooms which are fantastic. However, on this occasion we felt the menu was limited and the value for money has declined & charging a resident (who is paying several hundred pounds for their room) £1 for a tiny portion of tartar sauce with their fish & chips highlights their penny pinching. I think their Xmas menu is due to be introduced shortly so will definitely give them another visit as it is such a lovely place, I just hope the value & choices improve 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Overall the food was reasonable but nothing like it used to be. Crispy beef starter was the best of what we had. The rib beef starter was bland with not much flavour. At £18 the monkfish main was just 2 glorified fish fingers in a nice flavoured sauce. We decided not to go for dessert. At a few pence under £70 for the two of us we felt it wasn’t good value. The bill only included 2 glasses of wine & 2 soda waters for drinks. When booking a table it asked if it was for a special occasion. I said it was for a birthday. I mistakenly thought they might have done a little something to make it special, even a chocolate mint would have been a nice touch, but no nothing! We used to love it here and have celebrated quite a few occasions with them. I’m sad to say won’t be going back anytime soon.
We really enjoyed our lunch in this beautiful restaurant.
Despite being local, we’ve avoided this place for obvious reasons this summer! But it’s safe to venture out now so we took our visitors here this week and were not disappointed. Delicious food, respectable portions and excellent service. Our expert muscle-eater was almost beaten by quantity. They were a real hit as was the pork belly and steaks. No room for pudding but they looked and sounded tasty.
Enjoyed my evening at the Lewinnick Lodge great service by all of the friendly staff great food a great night out.
