The Leopard Lounge and Restaurant - The Chesterfield Hotel Ratings and Reviews
Went for "Flavor Palm Beach" menu was offered right up front along with their normal menu. This was one of the pricier restaurants but worth every cent. Service was excellent on this evening but even though the bar area was busy there were few diners in the restaurant proper. The food from the first course on was outstanding. My appetizer crab cake was large enough to add a salad and call it a meal. The filet mignon was perfect and cooked exactly as ordered. Chocolate lava cake with ice cream was our chosen dessert, extremely rich and very decadent. We dine out frequently and very few go completely as expected, but the Leopard Lounge nailed a perfect meal.
Had the Afternoon Tea at the Hotel once and noticed the restaurant which looked really cool. Turns out the food is really good as well. The décor is in a word 'swanky', kind of old Palm Beach but in a good way. It's dark and romantic. There's even some light dancing if you choose and the piano player was a perfect accompaniment. Turns out we went on a Prime rib Tuesday which was delicious and a great value. Lobster risotto also perfect. Special Occasion for us and
with the service, the beautiful room and the food it couldn't have been better at the Lounge.
Dining in The Leopard Lounge and Afternoon Tea in the Library of the Chesterfield Hotel are very memorable!!!! The service is professional and most attentive!! The variety of food offered is wonderful. Our server Dahlia is outstanding. The Restaurant Manager Carl is very friendly and extremely hands on!! Thank you all for making the celebration of my friend's 90th Birthday so special!!
Been staying @ The Chesterfield for years and have always taken at least one meal during our long (4 day/3 night) weekends in The Leopard Lounge. We've never been disappointed with the food or service! This past weekend we created a party of 15 for Staurday dinner and heard no complaints from anyone (including as to the live music)! The service was courteous, professional, and prompt. The food was exceptional! Next year we'll double our party size!
The atmosphere was exceptional. The food was off the charts delicious! The price is high but worth the money for the experience and quality of the food. We loved it. We were on a date (married 20+ years but still date like we just met) and being dressed up with my husband in a romantic beautiful environment was worth it and wonderful.
Sadly, my daughter and I arrived for our afternoon tea reservation. We were brought to the tea room and all of the tables were dirty and full of dirty dishes. We were told to wait so they could find someone to clean. No one cleaned, so after waiting for 25 minutes we had to leave
I cannot say enough good things about our experience at the Leopard Lounge-
The ambiance was delightful, the service on-point, and the food was absolutely divine.
I am quite willing to sing the praises of the sticky toffee pudding from every rooftop I encounter.
Beef and vegetables soup was outstanding, so was Chilean Sea Bass. Cesar salad was very fresh and tasty. Bread is something else. The best I ever had in the continental 50 states. We just couldn't order desert, because we were so full. They had some live music that actually wasn't offensive on the ears. The place was relatively quiet, so we could talk to each other. It was very easy to make reservation for Friday evening one day in advance. May be because prices were high. To me it was worth it.
Too, too noisy! Ridiculously so.
Could not stand to sit indoors , so sat in the courtyard.
Chicken curry very tasty! Wines offered by the glass were a good selection. Service was adequate.
I kept comparing this place to the Milestone in London, their sister hotel. It is such a wonderful hotel, such a gem. This one is not.
A pianist filled the room with contemporary music (Carol King, Billy Joel sounds). Jonathan provided attentive service with great charisma. Cocktail was potent and perfectly crafted. We shared a Caesar salad, which was fresh, crisp and accented by delicious garlic butter croutons and anchovies. The temperature on my strip steak was on point at med-rare as requested, tender and flavorful. The Mrs had the Shrimp Stroganoff which was a generous portion of large shrimp and a rich brandy cream sauce. Jonathan was quick to accommodate both of our substitution requests. A more mature crowd. Mostly couples, one of which took to the dance floor for a tune. Will return.
