The Leopard Lounge and Restaurant - The Chesterfield Hotel Ratings and Reviews
My husband & I had a wonderful meal. Service was impeccable. We started with a Ahi tuna appetizer. So different & delicious. I had the veal chop & he had a NY strip. Both very tender & served perfectly to order. We ended with Sticky Toffee pudding cake, which was amazing. Some friends met us after dinner for drinks & dancing. Lovely evening.
My husband and I spent an enjoyable evening at The Leopard Lounge. I was my birthday; therefore, it was a special celebration! We both had chicken curry and it was delicious. The ambiance was lovely but rather dark--very "old world" in feeling. My only suggestion as an interior designer is that the lighting needs to be updated.
This was an amazing experience. The ambiance is fantastic - rather like a Hollywood dinner club of the 1920s. They have live music and there is dancing during dinner.
The food was excellent (the veal chop is delicious) and the service is absolutely top notch. Extremely professional yet friendly. Dinner was timed perfectly. Jonathan, our server, was incredible and Carl, the restaurant manager was attentive and made sure everything ran smooth as silk. What a great find!
The Chesterfield has been around for a long time. This place was impeccably clean! We were treated like an old friend, and everyone was very friendly. The appetizers were outstanding as was the Shrimp Stroganoff dinner. The Key Lime Tart was crazy good! HATS OFF TO ALL THE CREW AT THE CHESTERFIELD LEOPARD ROOM!!
The Leopard Lounge is a Palm Beach institution, with some of the finest food and service we've enjoyed recently. It is understated, elegant, quiet, on a quiet side-street in Palm Beach, with an ambiance conducive to an evening of many pleasures. My wife and I don't eat there often, but when we do, it is a special occasion, with great food and experienced, anticipatory service! We will go back! We will recommend it to friends! We will spend more romantic evenings there, too!
We had the chicken curry. Very good! The wine list was nice, and the service was outstanding. We loved the pianist, and when we left, a band was getting ready to play. The ambiance was fantastic. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
From the kitschy feline decor to the superb attentive service to the Sinatra-sound-alike on the piano to the totally delicious meal... our evening at the Leopard Lounge was delightful. Luci is a terrific server. My husband's shrimp stroganoff was outstanding. Never been here before as we live on the other coast of FL but when we get around to Palm Beach again, will definitely have this on our list.
Took my 84-year-old Mom and my cousin (also 84) for dinner. This is one of the few places I can always trust to please everyone, even the very fussy. Yes, it's pricey, but it's worth it, to be able to relax in cool, quiet comfort and eat a great meal in a grown-up atmosphere. The crab cakes and Chilean Sea Bass were excellent, and my mother's and cousin's steaks were perfection. Drinks were also wonderful. Service great, as I remembered. I live in the Midwest, and brought Mom on vacation for a week to Florida, so this was a rare special occasion. Been here before and will come back.
5 of us girlfriends celebrated a birthday here ! we came from chicago. the wait staff and ambiance was awesome ! so fun the dj rocked. we danced crazy - before, during and after dinner.
just a delight. a total "frank sinatra" atmosphere and night. we will go back and back and back.
i will actually take my 24 year old daughter back with me in 3 weeks ! it's a place for all ages.... really - to appreciate a "classic" - beautiful hotel, also - and right of of worth avenue ! hello? win win. just a total total "gem". check it out --- by the way i am a "girl" who is 59 years old and went with my other 50-something besties !
just go there ! you will not be disappointed .... wear your leopard "stuff" and enjoy !
So we were actually in the Chesterfield in a lovely room right next to the Lounge kinda like the Library in Clue. If I may use a little British terminology....Delightful! And what a bargain! Delicious finger sandwiches, brewed tea and beautiful pastries and scones. The service is first rate.
Having lunch in Palm Beach is really nice. It is like going back 30 years to a more formal era which is sorely lacking in today's society. The atmosphere is like a New York supper club and I am not from New York but I do enjoy that atmosphere. I have had dinner there also and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service is excellent and the food very good and inventive.
Our server, Angela was great but after she was called away to a staff meeting, no one covered our table. We asked for Pellegrino refills from the bottle that Angela had opened for us, but another server brought us 2 Pinot Grigios (?)
Our coffee was being made 'to go' until my husband spoke up and said we wanted coffee at our table. A bit of confusion at the end of an otherwise very nice lunch. There were only 12 other patrons in the store so not sure what happened there.
We had a late dinner here, coming in out of the pouring rain one Wednesday night in January. There was live music overlaying taped disco, and a bunch of energetic woman dancers heating up the dance floor. Even so, the noise level was not a problem, and I have a soft voice. Service was great - nothing like older waiters. Food was good - we shared the crab cakes which were suitably crabby, and I had the chicken noodle soup. The highlight of that was the baked chicken croquette, which was flaky and tasty. the venue itself is terrific - a wonderful room that evokes the 1920s of Palm Beach - it's the essence of Palm Beach because it's suitably expensive and old. It was fun.
Who would expect to have an absolute blast at dinner? Well, Leopard Lounge is truly unique in that they have 5 star food and service AND the most wonderful entertainment. We stayed for hours just to enjoy the uniqueness of the experience. Great, fun place to go and NOT loud even with the entertainment an dancing.
The food was very good, though not great, but I think this place is all about the experience. The decor, the staff and the oldster disco party occurring during the meal were what made it memorable. We were kind of speechless when the party started. Don't miss some of the wacky art. This is worth a trip when in Palm Beach for its unique ambience.
