The Leopard Lounge and Restaurant - The Chesterfield Hotel Ratings and Reviews
Too, too noisy! Ridiculously so.
Could not stand to sit indoors , so sat in the courtyard.
Chicken curry very tasty! Wines offered by the glass were a good selection. Service was adequate.
I kept comparing this place to the Milestone in London, their sister hotel. It is such a wonderful hotel, such a gem. This one is not.
A pianist filled the room with contemporary music (Carol King, Billy Joel sounds). Jonathan provided attentive service with great charisma. Cocktail was potent and perfectly crafted. We shared a Caesar salad, which was fresh, crisp and accented by delicious garlic butter croutons and anchovies. The temperature on my strip steak was on point at med-rare as requested, tender and flavorful. The Mrs had the Shrimp Stroganoff which was a generous portion of large shrimp and a rich brandy cream sauce. Jonathan was quick to accommodate both of our substitution requests. A more mature crowd. Mostly couples, one of which took to the dance floor for a tune. Will return.
Went on a recent Saturday evening for the first time in years. It was lot of fun, the restaurant itself is worth the trip. My daughter had the chicken curry which she loved, I had a steak which was perfectly prepared, I also recommend the 3 Ceviche to start. It's a great people watching spot. Only complaint would be with the valet. It was too long of a wait coming and going. Not at all efficient.
We arrived at the restaurant at 7:15 and were promptly seated. Had a drink and then ordered our food. I specifically requested the steak to have no butter and medium rare. The steak arrived with butter and raw. We asked for a new steak. The second time it arrived the host said it was a new piece, but it wasn't. I had cut into it before and it was the same piece, this time well done. He argued with us. The time now was 9:45 and we no longer wanted the food. They did remove from bill but it was too late.
This dinner was to celebrate our 44th anniversary. I will not return!
They had no record of my open table reservation. Complete lack of a professional and courtoeus response or apology. Rather chose and arrogant and negative demeanor to my pointing out that I had a reservation and a confirmation #. A really negative beginning to the evening. Otherwise met my expectations in terms of food and service.
When in Palm Beach, RUN don't walk for a most elegant dinner in one of the historic hotels in this area. The holiday decorations just added another element of ambiance to one of the nicest rooms I have ever had dinner in . The menu selection consists of creative preparations of some of everyone's favorites. My wife and I started off with a fabulous signature Shrimp and Lobster cocktail [large enough to share ] . Entrees included an over sized Veal Chop which I couldn't finish and my wife had a creative Shrimp preparation made especially for her due to her food allergies. It was superb ! Piano music and a singer helped make the evening one to remember.
The Lobster Risotto missed the mark........because there was only a VERY small portion of lobster. Perhaps two or three bites, and I mean bites. I don't quibble, but $34.00 for a portion of rice is a bit excessive.........it need far more lobster than was served.
When living part time in PB, it is great to find a real palm beach find that has great staff, fresh delicious food & a good glass of wine by the glass 😛& wonderful atmosphere plus you can get up & dance to some amazing live music/singers! This will start to be one of my local Resto's 😋
