Lobster salad on brioche and diver scallops with lobster risotto and sautéed spinach both recommended. Italian Wedding soup also well done. Good place to dance, people watch or both. Also met an interesting couple sitting next to us.
Grab an 8pm Friday night dinner reservation and a fun black dress and you’ll be all set for a great evening in Palm Beach! Delicious food, attentive service and great music to dance to. Very romantic. We did not want to leave! The Leopard Lounge will definitely be back on the list for our next visit.
The Leopard Lounge is stunning—the very best of Palm Beach!
My off the beaten path decision to dine here was validated with a wonderful meal. Could have gone to a name brand high-end chain steakhouse but wanted something with high caliber food, service and local charm. This place checks all the boxes. Anniversary diner was a success. Greeted by a doorman at entry to hotel, table ready to go and great service by wait staff. Super cool, low key, all class, spot on Palm Beach. Highly recommend if you think you can handle the suphistication. Lol.
Excellent service. Beautiful interior. Reminds me of the supper clubs of the past but modern and upscale. Fantastic jazz musician plays nightly. Our waiter was truly wonderful and very knowledgable of the menu. Food is delicious and portions are perfect. We really enjoyed ourselves and will most definitely return. Lovely!
Sunday brunch with my daughter! Eggs Benedict the best ever! Crispy muffin and tender Canadian bacon and perfectly cooked eggs and yummy hollandaise so yum!
A Very old and Beautiful restaurant with live music. Older crowd. Nice ambiance. Food is superb. The staff was very nice and attentive.
Go for a drink -- the place is a real throwback to old Palm Beach. But don't risk dining. Food and service are uneven, to say the least. On a recent evening, we ordered the soup of the day, and a sauteed shrimp dish for the main. The soup, a mediocre lobster bisque, turned out to be the sauce for the shrimp! "Hey Louie, just throw a few shrimp int the lobster bisque... don't bother to cook the shrimp as described in the menu.
This was our second trip to the Leopard Lounge. The bartenders were good but one younger woman was a little surley and not so friendly. Male bartender was very good, friendly but seemed to be friends with two gentlemen and stayed down with them. Our table was right outside the kitchen which was a very busy area all night. Also, they charged $10 to split my dinner that I shared with my husband.
We don’t really pay attention to prices so I thought it was cheesy of them to charge a fee. Lucy, our waitress was excellent. We loved her. The food was very good too. All and all it was a good night.
Had a wonderful experience at the Leopard Lounge! The food was delicious with exceptional service with their wait staff.
Scones were burnt to a crisp.
Clotted cream was brought to my table and left outside 7 mins before scones arrived.
My tomato and cheese sandwich was soggy.
Service was not attentive .
Leopard lounge scores TEN in all areas. Our server Gabriella was FANTASTIC BEST EVER She gladly fulfilled every request. The lobster shrimp cocktail was fantastic Champagne cocktails perfect Only disappointment was entertainment unable to fulfill requests despite very generous tip. But that won’t keep us from coming back. LOVE the feel of the Leopard Lounge
Great place, great food, great fun. Go there at once!
Our Waitress emily was a delight!
Great bar scene and cocktails with live music at night.
Quite enjoyed the ambiance and the presence of a talented pianist / vocalist who was there but did not overwhelm table conversation. The complete experience from the bar to the table was comfortable and pleasant for all. The Chesterfield is a piece of old, stately Palm Beach. Will return when I am in-town again.
Really enjoyed the food . The music was great and that always adds to the experience it is much more exciting than just sitting at a table. The waitress was very personable and attentive.
Lovely restaurant, but crazy noise level, especially by those who want to be heard above the live music which is loud and highly energetic. This place is excelent if you don't want to have comfortable conversation.
Great food and service.
We always enjoy this special place.
Very nice room and the food is very good.
The dance floor is hardly used, which left us a lot of room
My husband and I love this place. Not only do we get a great meal, we also get ambiance, entertainment and an opportunity to dance. Altogether a home run.
This is definitely a place to go people watching, The singers they had were fantastic and could read the crowd pretty well. Crowd was older but were all dancing and having a great time.
Went here with 8 friends. The music was great, 80's the night we were there. Not too loud but loud enough to hear from where we were sitting. The food was very good moderately priced for the area. The service was excellent.
What a great place! Great food great service great music great ambience highly recommended
I have been to the Leopard Lounge a number of times. Unfortunately this last time, on Christmas day of 2017, did not provide as good an experience as other times. The service wasn't great (the server seemed overworked), and the food was not the quality that I expected. Three of us (out of five) had prime rib, but only one came with au jus -- meaning that the other two tasted dry. We requested au jus for the other two plates, but by the time it came, the prime rib had gotten cold. The menu was price fixe, which meant that the selection was rather limited. The decor, of course, was exceptional, and that salvaged the experience. But at over $800 for five people we expected a bit more.
Here's what I don't understand. We were attending Christmas Eve Day Mass in Palm Beach and looking for a place to have dinner either before or after so I looked on OpenTable, there was not a lot available but I particularly wanted to go to the Chesterfield Hotel (Leopard Lounge) as it is quite quaint and cozy. But, there was nothing available (supposedly) except a 5:30 and 5:45 p.m. Naturally, I thought the restaurant must be fully booked for the evening and would be bustling with activity and Christmas Cheer. Not so. In fact, when we arrived there was only 2 other tables occupied..one with a family obviously staying there and one with an obnoxious man and a mortified wife (?). When we left after dinner 2 hours later, only one other party had arrived. The place was deserted. We thought perhaps there had been a mandatory evacuation on Palm Beach or at least...a mandatory evacuation of the Chesterfield Hotel/Leopard Lounge and we had't gotten the alert. Hmmm...can't help but feel we were gamed by the OpenTable reservation system into an early dinner...and an expensive fixed price one at that. Never again.
Great ambiance and good food! A good time was had by all.
In town for a family wedding; Chesterfield Hotel is a favorite. Continental breakfast came with our room rate, which was an excellent choice: self-serve except for hot cooked oatmeal, European and American selections are of good variety and thank you for the plain yogurt! If one does not select the Continental option, you have a US$10 credit toward menu items (check your bill: ours went from $60+ to $28 with the correction). The Eggs Benedict and French Toast were both excellent. The best part of the dining experience is the courtyard itself. Relaxing and restorative, as is staying st the Chesterfield.
Like that the server noted the tip that was included in our check. Like the musice and dancing.
Always outstanding. Never disappointing. Service is exceptional
We came to this restaurant tonight to celebrate my birthday.
Even though we told 3 people about it before (including on our reservation as you can see ) - they totally forgot.
The Leopard Lounge is our favorite restaurant in Palm Beach. Beautiful period decor, fine food, ambience and live music. If your have “fine taste” and can afford it, you will be very content at The Leopard Lounge.
We went on a Tuesday night, and although the restaurant was not full, the food was AMAZING, and the bar scene really lively. I loved the piano player/singer. It's definitely a treasure in Palm Beach, and I hope others enjoy it as much as I did.
We have been coming here for a number of years. This time the band was as noisy as a rock concert. We were far away from the music and still found it hard to have a conversation with our table. We asked for the music to be turned down a bit, to no avail. It will be a long time until we go back. Too bad.
We really enjoyed our dinner. Drinks were well made and we love the atmosphere and bar area. We will be going back
Consistently the best in every way, especially the staff!
There were 12 of us and we had 2 servers: one for each side of the table. They did a fine job. The food was very good and the kitchen was accommodating to special requests. Everyone in the group commented about how much they enjoyed their dinners.
Food was great. Service was excellent. I will definitely return.
Food and service fabulous a little loud when full. Not a deterent to your enjoyment we will be back soon
Went for "Flavor Palm Beach" menu was offered right up front along with their normal menu. This was one of the pricier restaurants but worth every cent. Service was excellent on this evening but even though the bar area was busy there were few diners in the restaurant proper. The food from the first course on was outstanding. My appetizer crab cake was large enough to add a salad and call it a meal. The filet mignon was perfect and cooked exactly as ordered. Chocolate lava cake with ice cream was our chosen dessert, extremely rich and very decadent. We dine out frequently and very few go completely as expected, but the Leopard Lounge nailed a perfect meal.
