Enjoyed the Flavor of Palm Beach menu for lunch on 10/8/2019 for a small fee of $20 on a set menu. What a VERY quiet lunch. There was a small Kiwani meeting/luncheon and maybe 2 other tables with guests. Our server was very sweet and helpful. I orderedthe homemade chicken soup (very nice tureen), the crab cake (had a small side fruit and some lovely baby arugula). Crab cake was full of crab! I had a choice of ice cream with various toppings or very chocolate cake. Both were very good. The wine list was also reviewed and found to have some very reasonably price "by the glass" ($12 to $24)
Love this restaurant. Takes you back in time to real club type dining like in the movies. Live it !! Great bar, service and food !!
Eccentric, different, lively and fun. Great "Only in Palm Beach" crowd and excellent dinner.
Good food well prepared and served exceptionally well
Elegant and funky at the same time. The decor is old school steak house, dark leather and mahogany with framed animal drawings on the wall. The ceiling, however is psychedelic drawings of naked women playing musical instruments. There is live e entertainment that was apparent but no obtrusive to private conversations. The wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable about both the menu and the history of the restaurant. We went during the week, so it was quiet and easy to get personalized service. Apparently on the weekend, the character changes dramatically, with lots of "pickup" action and more vibrancy. The food was excellent and worth the moderately high prices. Definitely worth visiting, but choose which personality you want (quiet elegance during the week or vibrant action during the weeked). Valet parking is free.
The Leopard Lounge in The Chesterfield Hotel, Palm Beach, Florida was an amazing find. Celebrating my wife's birthday at the Leopard was one of the best choices since asking her to marry me. The dining room is classic "old school" white table cloth elegance. With warm, dark wood through out creating a welcoming ambiance that adds to the overall dining experience. John, our Maitre'd greeted us by name even though it was our first visit. Seating us at a quiet, romantic corner table made conversation easy with each other and our two guests who joined us for the evening celebration. Our lovely, accommodating server, (name lost in a brain freeze unfortunately) took our cocktail orders and returned in short order. Giving us time to enjoy some catch up conversation and our perfectly made cocktails before taking our dinner orders was paced nicely which made our overall dining experience even more pleasurable. The ala carte menu offers a wonderful variety of choices which would satisfy the most challenging palates. There is a terrific 3 course pre fixe menu which also offers a wonderful selection of appetizer, entree and dessert. After taking our dinner orders, our cocktails were replaced. Not long after some additional conversation & sips of our refreshed drinks our entrees arrived, steaming hot and cooked to order. The kitchen staff must be amazing, because the plating was creative and the food equally delicious as exhibited by the smiles we shared as we tasted each delicate morsel. Be sure to order the fried onions, you won't be disappointed. Two desserts were shared to end a perfectly delightful evening. The Leopard Lounge is definitely a go to place for a very special occasion as it is pricier than a regular evening out, but worth the expense for superbly prepared food, romantic ambiance, great service and........wonderful musician(s) off the main dining area providing quiet classics for dining and dancing. We will definitely return for additional great experience.
This restaurant is ranked as one of the Top 10 restaurants in Palm Beach so my expectations were high. Although the food quality was okay, it was by no means fine dining, and the service was fairly average. Definitely not worth the price of over $400 for a dinner for two. I wish we had just stayed at our own hotel (The Colony) and not bothered to go elsewhere. This restaurant caters to a rather elderly clientele, but it was fun watching patrons dance to the live music.
Overall it was a good experience. Service was very good and our waitress ( I do not recall her name) was very friendly and helpful. The food was good, particularly the Parmesan risotto. The live music started about 8:30/9:00 and they were good, playing mostly older music with the occasional Latin or current tune. Definitely an older crowd who truly are enjoying the lives! Good fun, good food, and a good place to people watch while you have a few drinks. Not a place I would frequent, but definitely a repeat at some time.
Great food & ambiance!
Dancers Rejoice!! The Leopard Lounge is so perfect in many ways!! Great Piano with a dedicated Dance Floor, plus Food that is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Wife's Birthday and she had the Crab Cake/Filet/Cake special (was INCREDIBLE) and i had the Seafood Salad (Lobster and Shrimp - Crazy Good) with the Lobster Risoto. We had GREAT Cocktails and excellent service in a beautiful setting. Summary: Fabulous!
When we arrived we were not informed that the air conditioner was out. The service seemed rushed and off - not sure why. Additionally, there was an 18% gratuity added to the check for a table of 3.
I have lived in Palm Beach County for decades and have heard of the iconic Leopard Lounge at the Chesterfield Hotel in Palm Beach. It was on my mental list of places to get to and I finally got there. I wish I had gone sooner and I plan to go again in the very near future. It was just lovely. My brother and sister were visiting from California and I thought it would be a fun adventure. The restaurant is not large which is nice, there is a small dance floor and a wonderful piano player and lounge singer that entertains you through the evening. The food was fabulous! Do not miss the crab cakes. They are all crab, very little filler and can be had as an appetizer or served over salad. I had the scallops which were beyond excellent. Every bite was absolutely delicious. Every dish was very good and all of us loved the dining experience. The music was not overpowering at all. We loved being in an environment where you could get up and enjoy a dance after dinner. We tried several desserts, Chocolate lava cake, apple tart, key lime pie and they were all very good. This is an interesting historic place to visit but more importantly it is a fabulous restaurant that deserves to be visited on a regular basis. I’m sorry it took me this long to get there!
Love the ambiance, the piano, the food, and the outstanding service. It's nice to return again and again to this place where conversation can take place without having to shout, where the music lends a romantic mood, and where everything else accompanies the rest to make it a perfect evening out for a couple or for a group of friends.
Great atmosphere. Don’t miss the Shrimp Stroganoff!
Loved everything about this place. Classic high-class steakhouse ambience, live pianist bashing out rat pack covers, crisp martinis, and thick juicy steaks.
OUTSTANDING service! Had a quit and peaceful dinner with our wonderful waiter Jason. Staff cares about your every need and food is so fresh and delicious. Will come back again soon and highly recommend for special occasions or even a date night out.
A great experience of a Palm Beach lunch spot. I noticed the tiny dance floor in the lounge and wondered if we should come back for a late night spin around it?
What a wonderful boutique hotel and restaurant that's been around a very long time in the heart of Palm Beach. The staff is always polite and professional and gives you the best service. The bar is inviting and serves great cocktails and background piano music that is hard to find these days. Old elegant with great cozy atmosphere. My rack of lamb was outstanding served med-rare and hot as I ordered, the baked Alaska was good and the wait staff was very attentive.
Thank you for making our anniversary extra special too.
-easter brunch was eggxelent !
Very disappointing Easter Brunch!
They were behind setting up the brunch? We had to wait 40 minutes after our reservation time to get it together.
The all you can drink mimosas were in a water pitcher left sitting outside. The orange juice spoiled as a result. It took 3 requests to get cream cheese for the bagels.
Totally disorganized. So not worth the $250.00 for 2 people!!!
Both my Mother and I got sick from the food and spoiled
Orange juice upon returning home.
Contacted the General Manager of the Chesterfield.

Spectacular dining, dancing, music experience
We had a fabulous dining experience tonight at the Leopard Lounge! The food was absolutely delicious and our waiter was very knowledgeable and attentive! We will definitely be back!
Great place and food
NY Strip certainly not prime meat.....was "chewy" Clientel poorly pressed.....loud
Lovely romantic restaurant.
Would like some new menu items.
Same menu forever.
Two us had afternoon tea which was delightful!
Great. Not to be missed Palm Beach experience. Terrific food ambiance service and entertainment.
Had a reservation here for my birthday. Specified this on opentable but seemed to not know this when we were checking in. Quickly gave us a good table. Waiter at first was attentive since we were earlier in the evening, but as the tables filled up, service became spotty. Had to wave down to order and when our meal arrived only saw once more for over 30 minutes. Had to wave down again for check. No dessert offered or Birthday dessert. Once too frustrated by then. Food was good but service was not.
Very good and very expensive
Wonderful food and service. Music and dancing make it even more special and unusual for the area!
Service was extremely disappointing. Turns out they add 18% automatic so the servers don’t care. The food was just meh. We reserved a table for 7:15 on a Friday in the height of season (mid March) yet no one was there to eat, but service was still very slow. I appreciate not being rushed and taking my time during a meal, so when I say it’s slow, it’s sloooow. The server did not come back to check on us nearly often enough so I only had two drinks in nearly 3 hours time. My friend and I both ordered one of their specialty martinis. The first time, her glass was full and mine was partly full. The second time, mine came in a smaller martini glass than hers (same drink.) It was my birthday and I was handed an obligatory dirty old stuffed singing bear but no sweet treat. Yuck. The piano player stopped playing at 8, so I asked about the advertised entertainment that was supposed to start at 8 and was rudely told they would start at 8:30. So we waited. Once they started, it was oldies, with a couple of depressing songs. Around 10pm they finally got as current as disco hits and the place finally filled in - on our way out to HMF at the Breakers. Definitely a much older crowd here, which you expect in Palm Beach, but it was old even for that. And we are not spring chickens. Will not be back any time soon. Better places to go in PB.
Loved the atmosphere. Mediocre service. Mediocre food experience. Will return!
Good food and the people watching was memorable. Lots of singles dressed in glitzy outfits wandered in to dance and mingle as the hour got later!
We had a big group. The service was medium, the food was pretty good, the atmosphere is really fun!
Our service was poor. Our waiter Jason never checked on us once during the course of our meal.
We were given a gift certificate for a romantic interlude as a wedding gift. It was a delightful evening out.
Great food and music not too loud. I had the rack of lamb which was perfect. We had some nice wine and desert.
Terrible service. We went for brunch on a Sunday. The restaurant was almost empty, but our food took forever, it was mediocre when it arrived, and no one ever come to check on us. My husband had to walk inside to find a server to refill our drinks. To top it off, even thought there are only two of us, they added an 18% automatic tip.
Delicious food, good service, fun atmosphere. Enjoyable evening
