We have been dining at the Chesterfield for twelve years. We go primarily for the music and dance floor but the food is excellent. Adam Austin on the piano is the best!
Just an really old, tired place. Server could care lass; clearly did not want to be there, and could not crack a smile...avoid Megan. Salads were horrible, warm ingredients, dressings worse than from a bottle, avocado had brown on it. Mixed drink very weak, wine was short-poured, and prices were quite high for low quality. We decided to bale quickly before entrees and more drinks, thank goodness. Felt like a tired restaurant, serving tired food, to a very tired crowd. Just go to buccan and endure the wait, you’ll be happy you did.
Great ambiance and delicious food.
Always a pleasure to dine and have drinks there. Whenever in Palm Beach this is our favorite place to visit...
We will return. The food was great. The key lime pie was in a cupcake style, never had that before. It turned out to get a 3 out of 5. It wasn’t the freshest and you could taste the freezer. The cheesecake was thick but had the freezer taste as well as wasn’t as good as a Cheesecake Factory dessert. The main course salmon was the best. We will return, just want eat dessert. Drinks are awesome. Price was good. No issue with price.
Beautiful restaurant with a great bar & very talented piano player
food, service could not have been better
We always dine at the Leopard Lounge and have been for over 25 years. Leopard lounge is outstanding and staff is awesome.
EXTREMELY overpriced and small portions , poor value
Had a great date night out at the well aged Restaurant and lounge. During the meal service was amazing, prompt but not overbearing and the atmosphere was quiet and enjoyable. As the evening went on into the night the music gets a bit louder and the lounge “bar” scene is larger. A great place to enjoy a good meal with your significant other!
The service was very slow. Out waitress was outstanding but there were too few wait staff. Not wait staff staff problem but management issue. Unfortunately we were there to sample for a future event.
Great Place.....food needs improvement but the atmosphere is great. Keep it up with the music, the band was excellent
We had a very nice evening and spent over two leisurely hours at the Lounge. The food however was just OK not in line with the prices. They could do better or hire someone who can.
We love the ambience and the music was wonderful. We had three people in our party and everyone ‘s meal was terrific.
The restaurant has been renovated since last year and is open , brighter and very nice. Our service was a little slow but the staff was very friendly.
It was terrible on every level.
Lovely restaurant with attentive and professional servers. Food was very good and we enjoyed our dinner.
Service was exceptional! We had drinks and were not rushed to place our dinner order. The food was absolutely delicious! Love everything about this place. And they make the best champagne cocktail EVER!
Bartender, servers and piano player all exceptional!
Food is Wonderful and the atmosphere is a throwback to Sinatra. Nice music playing and Friendly, Accomodating Staff! We always go when in the Area!
Good food and good wine
Great experience! I will be back often!
My wife an I have been to The Leopard Lounge several times, and in the past, for several reasons we have always loved it. This time, we went back with two best friends (all of us from NJ). I basically brainwashed our friends making them believe that dinner was going to take place in this glamorous and refined place. We were all dressed up for the occasion, and my friend and I did wear jackets. We arrived around 8pm. As soon as we walked in, the first thing I noticed was two men at the bar wearing shorts and T-shirts. After all I had told my friends about this place, I felt very embarrassed. Was this a sign that the famous “The Leopard Lounge” is no longer the place it used to be, the place that my wife and I liked so much?Very disappointing.
Plus a couple of other negatives including an arrangement of white orchids in a corner next to our table that had several vases with plants without flowers, only their bare stems. Very sad!
the crab cakes were very gluey.
the ambience was terrific.
Great date night venue for “not so young” that like dancing to songs we actually know. Great fun. Definitely would go back. Entertaining.
We love The Leopard Lounge! We try to celebrate our anniversary there every year or every other year. This experience did not disappoint! The service was spectacular - thank you Elianna! The meal was delicious from the smoked salmon to the Rack of Lamb to the NY Strip Steak and the Chocolate Lava Cake! The cocktails are always prepared perfectly too! We especially enjoy the entertainment and the opportunity to dance during our cocktails or in between courses or after we finished our meal. Thank you for making our 39th anniversary celebration very special!
Amazing food and fun environment , the perfect birthday celebration
The food is great and it’s a great fun place to eat and dance
The ambiance at the Leopard Lounge Restaurant is authentic Old Florida sophistication. Our server Aliana, is a wealth of knowledge regarding the history of this gem. She knows the menu forward and backward and provided perfect combinations to satisfy our cravings. Aww the perfect Classic martini, something my husband and I had not had in a long time, begged the question why we waited so long. Oysters, Chop salad, lobster/shrimp cocktail (do not pass on this), we shared the Chicken Curry and Shrimp Stroganoff, both were equally delightful! We passed on dessert as we were satisfied completely. Live music was playing in the background and it appears regulars love to have the opportunity to take to the dance floor. Thank you for such a deliciously rich evening.
Always beautiful room and atmosphere . Great music and dancing.
Beautiful restaurant with outstanding service and food.....went for dinner, a bit pricey but would definitely go back and WILL go back cause the quality of food tremendous.
Enjoyed the Flavor of Palm Beach menu for lunch on 10/8/2019 for a small fee of $20 on a set menu. What a VERY quiet lunch. There was a small Kiwani meeting/luncheon and maybe 2 other tables with guests. Our server was very sweet and helpful. I orderedthe homemade chicken soup (very nice tureen), the crab cake (had a small side fruit and some lovely baby arugula). Crab cake was full of crab! I had a choice of ice cream with various toppings or very chocolate cake. Both were very good. The wine list was also reviewed and found to have some very reasonably price "by the glass" ($12 to $24)
Love this restaurant. Takes you back in time to real club type dining like in the movies. Live it !! Great bar, service and food !!
Eccentric, different, lively and fun. Great "Only in Palm Beach" crowd and excellent dinner.
Good food well prepared and served exceptionally well
Elegant and funky at the same time. The decor is old school steak house, dark leather and mahogany with framed animal drawings on the wall. The ceiling, however is psychedelic drawings of naked women playing musical instruments. There is live e entertainment that was apparent but no obtrusive to private conversations. The wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable about both the menu and the history of the restaurant. We went during the week, so it was quiet and easy to get personalized service. Apparently on the weekend, the character changes dramatically, with lots of "pickup" action and more vibrancy. The food was excellent and worth the moderately high prices. Definitely worth visiting, but choose which personality you want (quiet elegance during the week or vibrant action during the weeked). Valet parking is free.
Smells like mold all over the place...needs a major internal overhaul
The Leopard Lounge in The Chesterfield Hotel, Palm Beach, Florida was an amazing find. Celebrating my wife's birthday at the Leopard was one of the best choices since asking her to marry me. The dining room is classic "old school" white table cloth elegance. With warm, dark wood through out creating a welcoming ambiance that adds to the overall dining experience. John, our Maitre'd greeted us by name even though it was our first visit. Seating us at a quiet, romantic corner table made conversation easy with each other and our two guests who joined us for the evening celebration. Our lovely, accommodating server, (name lost in a brain freeze unfortunately) took our cocktail orders and returned in short order. Giving us time to enjoy some catch up conversation and our perfectly made cocktails before taking our dinner orders was paced nicely which made our overall dining experience even more pleasurable. The ala carte menu offers a wonderful variety of choices which would satisfy the most challenging palates. There is a terrific 3 course pre fixe menu which also offers a wonderful selection of appetizer, entree and dessert. After taking our dinner orders, our cocktails were replaced. Not long after some additional conversation & sips of our refreshed drinks our entrees arrived, steaming hot and cooked to order. The kitchen staff must be amazing, because the plating was creative and the food equally delicious as exhibited by the smiles we shared as we tasted each delicate morsel. Be sure to order the fried onions, you won't be disappointed. Two desserts were shared to end a perfectly delightful evening. The Leopard Lounge is definitely a go to place for a very special occasion as it is pricier than a regular evening out, but worth the expense for superbly prepared food, romantic ambiance, great service and........wonderful musician(s) off the main dining area providing quiet classics for dining and dancing. We will definitely return for additional great experience.
This restaurant is ranked as one of the Top 10 restaurants in Palm Beach so my expectations were high. Although the food quality was okay, it was by no means fine dining, and the service was fairly average. Definitely not worth the price of over $400 for a dinner for two. I wish we had just stayed at our own hotel (The Colony) and not bothered to go elsewhere. This restaurant caters to a rather elderly clientele, but it was fun watching patrons dance to the live music.
Overall it was a good experience. Service was very good and our waitress ( I do not recall her name) was very friendly and helpful. The food was good, particularly the Parmesan risotto. The live music started about 8:30/9:00 and they were good, playing mostly older music with the occasional Latin or current tune. Definitely an older crowd who truly are enjoying the lives! Good fun, good food, and a good place to people watch while you have a few drinks. Not a place I would frequent, but definitely a repeat at some time.
