   We had such a great experience here. The food was fantastic, and the service amazing! Our server Lena gave us a free drink, appetizer, and dessert because we had guests from out of town and were celebrating a few different things. We couldn't have asked for a better night!

   Never disappoints- I always try a new dish and happy that I do. The lamb and pita appetizer is hands down the way to go. This dinner is on the pricier side so be prepared for that.

    Excellent waiter-Geronimo. We have a dinner group and are somewhat regular diners here. He was the best waitstaff we ever had. Food is always reliably good. Prices are moderate.

    One of the best meals I’ve ever had! Every course, from the appetizer to the entrees, and finally, dessert, everything was delicious! Our server, Henry, was very attentive and helpful with suggestions. The ambience on the outdoor patio so nice and peaceful. It was a perfect dinner and I’ll definitely be back!

    Everything was excellent. This is by far one of my top restaurants in Greenville and a must visit whenever we come to town. There isn’t a bad thing on their menu, the sangria is the best I’ve ever had and service is always good.

    The view of the river and the service are excellent. However, the quality of food is only mediocre. I got the paella, and my husband got the steak. We also got the fried goat cheese for appetizer. All were just ok. For the pricing, I would expect higher calibur of cooking. If I went back just for the view/ambiance, I would just get the cheaper flatbread and call it a day.

    The food was tasty but not warm. We hated to send back so many plates as there were many items on the fixed menu. But it was a little disappointing. Service was otherwise good and the restaurant is lovely.

    We booked for Mother’s Day, but we’re not told that there is a prefix menu. We did not know that until we sat down at the table. We should’ve been told that before hand.

    Was disappointed that they had a family style Mothers Day Menu only. Only thing from there regular menu was the Brussels sprouts which were really good. But rest of menu was disappointing, with exception of salmon and berry salad which were tasty. We had scheduled reservation for Mothers Day a month in advance not thinking the regular menu would not be offered. Will definitely check next time.

    We had the most wonderful Mother’s Day experience with the family style menu. The food was outstanding and the service was exceptional. The convenience of having a set family style menu was perfect. Everyone at the table got to try every dish, and we mothers were not forced to make one decision. A truly perfect dining experience we look forward to repeating again!

    We sat outside and it started to rain very lightly The manager quickly moved us to another table and was extremely accommodating. Our waiter was not overly friendly, but otherwise we had a very nice time and the food was delicious.

    I cannot believe Lazy Goat has ditched one of its best entrées: Duck confit patatas bravas. I had even checked the online menu a few days before my reservation to confirm it was still on the menu, and it was. Yet, when we received our menus, the dish was nowhere to be found. Our waitress confirmed it had just been replaced with octopus. OCTOPUS. I thought Lazy Goat had ceased ditching its most excellent entrées a few years back, when they removed my husband’s favorite, the Even Lazier Paella. But nope. Lazy Goat, you are truly living up to your namesake: LAZY.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our Ladies Lunch at The Lazy Goat. The food was great and the service was good. We felt that our server had a few too many tables and we felt bad for how busy he seemed. Other than our empathy for our waiter, we loved it and would definitely go back! Pro Tip: the goat cheese balls are amazing.

    Disappointed. Had early reservation (not busy yet) but service was SLOW. Our server delayed coming to even take our drink order! Brussels sprouts were great but quite a small plate. Pasta was warm and bland (2 kinds ordered). Great location overlooking Reedy River but overpriced. And I remember the food being better a few yrs ago.

    The food was delicious. We had brussel sprouts for an appetizer, steak and a spring pasta special. Everything appeared to have been cooked with care and an eye for excellence. Both the inside and patio of the restaurant were clean, and had an enjoyable atmosphere. Our service made an already wonderful meal superb. Cocktails were also a delight.     Food was delicious. We started out with fried goat cheese and lamb appetizers and then got the tagliatelle with steak and the paella for entrees. All of it was delicious but the lamb appetizer and homemade pasta really were exceptionally good. Our server was great and the atmosphere was excellent. We were seated indoors on the lower level so it was quiet enough to be conducive for conversation but also had a great view of the river and path.
