Love the Art Deco atmosphere, the live music and the special drinks. Pricey, but one of few unique experiences in the Times Square area.

I went for restaurant week and the portions were extremely small. My main dish (chicken) was the size of a business card and I had a martini which at $22 was the most expensive martini I have ever had. I used the restroom downstairs before I left and walked through the main dining room where the other people sit and their portions were much larger and they weren’t crammed near the bar. I went to another restaurant for restaurant week the following night and was much more impressed with the service and treatment all the way around. I was not impressed with the Lamb’s Club. If you are going to participate in restaurant week, don’t treat the guests as second class citizens. It’s too bad because I saw they have rooms for private parties and I may have recommended the Lanb’s Club for my company holiday party but I wouldn't now after my experience.
Always on the look out for decent places in midtown/Times Square and this hit the mark.

Quiet, but with an atmosphere. Food was not groundbreaking but executed well.
Excellent food!! We went here because its a food network giant and its restraurant week. We were really duped by the way over priced drinks that cost half of the Pres-fixe dinner menu. You got us! Won't happen again!
Service was superb and the live band was really an added bonus. Restaurant week choices were very good.
Restaurant Week - Mixed Review - We were seated at a nice quiet table on the side, second floor - although this is called 'the bar,' it does not feel like bar seating, and actually with the tall windows overlooking the street, preferable to the dining room on the main floor - my appetizer (burrata) and entree (chicken) were delicious, as were the desserts we shared ('cheesecake' and 'chocolate mousse') don't adequately describe the interesting presentations - My husband's burger, on the other hand was a big disappointment, compared to the burgers we often enjoy at a nearby steak restaurant - server Sarah was friendly and professional, as were the rest of the team members we met . . .
Always ask to sit downstairs. The upstairs was to loud like a night club. When I spent $250 on dinner at like to be able to hear my wife.
Pre-theater dinner and restaurant week.
We ordered from the Restaurant Week menu and perhaps this was a mistake. The portions of food were very small, as was the amount of wine poured for the expensive by-the-glass selection.
Entrees were inconsistent - one considerably better than the other and vegetables were VERY disappointing ($14 for side order!)
Excellent bourbon Manhattans, yummy meatballs and onion rings to share, quiet upscale Art Deco setting. Great bar for conversation.
I just happened to be in town for business during Restaurant Week. I am a fan of GZ and knew this would be my opportunity to experience the restaurant. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The ambiance was very Standard-esque, which I love. I will be back in March and hope to visit again!
This is the quintessential perfect restaurant. Gorgeous building, trendsetting decor, comfortable and cozy all wrapped into one. Spacious seating allowing you and guests to enjoy great conversation easily. The service was impeccable. The food was over the top delicious and each plate so carefully prepared. The flavors truly sang...I’m still relishing each bite hours later. A true culinary experience.
HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. Insulted not once but twice "Sir, your 'Restaurant Week" reservation is in the Mezzanine, not the Main Dining Room" , first by the greeter, then the waiter who had not been told that I was allowed to dine in the more exclusive main dining room. I believe the primary purpose of "Restaurant Week" is to introduce customers to new dining experiences, encouraging them to return in the future. Not at The Lamb's Club ... it was obvious that their exclusionary practice was to segregate the customers with the advertised "special rate" from the "full price" patrons. Did I mention that the restaurant was EMPTY? There were 2 large parties and 3-4 patrons like myself scattered throughout. I have dined previously at The Lamb's Club, which is why I returned last night. The memories of ambience, good food and service were OBLITERATED by the insensitivity shown by the staff. My kale salad could not compare to the kale salad I had tonight via ROOM SERVICE at the Hyatt Centric Times Square - thank you Hyatt for a perfectly prepared salad, not an unappetizing area of gray kale and red cabbage served at The Lamb's Club. The salmon and dessert were delicous but I couldn't enjoy them, with the bad taste in my mouth served up by the Management of The Lamb's Club in their discriminatory fashion described above. The fireplace had lost its warmth and even the conciliatory champagne served by the Manager to make up for all that was wrong - neither could alter this negative experience. Sorry, but I cannot recommend The Lamb's Club for "Restaurant Week" or for any occasion based on this experience.
Food was good but service very disorganized. At those prices they should of had it more together. Overall it’s good.
If you decide to eat after Theatre, please know that the menu linked to the open table bar site is not available after 10pm. Only a snack menu is available. We showed up at 10:15pm, were asked if we would like a dinner menu or snack menu. We told them dinner. Once the waitress showed up, we were asked the same thing. She asked a passing chef what was available and he said the kitchen shut down dinner at ten. We settled and ordered snacks, which were delicious- Chicken wings, meatballs, roasted peppers. We will be back to try the early menu.
I have to say that the service was very disjointed. It took 15 minutes to get the glass of wine I had ordered and the restaurant was less that a quarter filled. The bar was about 40 feet away from the table I was sitting at.
To wait for ONE HOUR for food to arrive after ordering it is ridiculous at a restaurant that seems to think it's first class. They simply couldn't handle the crowd they had. In future, they should shut the upstairs when they have a crowd beyond their abilities to serve them.
Our favorite go-to place in the Theater District!!
Geoffrey Zakarian's Lamb's Club is an oasis in the middle of the crazy, chaos of the Theater District. We have never had a bad meal here. From start to finish every course is delicious and inventive. We aren't usually desert eaters, but each of us ordered one and every desert was amazing!! We highly recommend the Lambs Club . . . even if just for a craft drink in their gorgeous upstairs bar!
Arrived for a pre-show 'knosh" and drinks and were seated promptly and comfortably!
Room was large enough to feel spacious and quiet enough for across the table / private conversation.
All-In-All, a FAB start to our theatre evening with great food and a nice wine selection!

Ask for the matinee lunch menu and order the burger! You won't be disappointed! Seat in the upstairs bar area. The ambiance is so New York!
Love the vibe and offerings, as well as the location. Was taken aback by the drink prices ($28 for a glass of sauvignon blanc). But if I closed my eyes and didn't look at the bill, it was perfect. Great place for a meeting, real conversation.
Went there for a pre-theater dinner, told the staff about it and had to prompt them at every turn. Shashito peppers, cold, duck breast, frozen, service, slow. The only highlight was the Dover sole which was great.
We asked if we could hear more about the tasting menu. We were told the options, which included the tuna app, beet salad and filet, also a pre-dessert, and a main dessert. My husband asked if he could trade out the tuna for the oysters.
Server said that typically they will not, but she would ask. After a significant amount of time, she came back and asked if we had any questions about the menu ( She knew we were pre-theater, as she had asked us went we first sat down). We explained that yes, we did have a question about the tasting menu, and she remembered and then asked us if we both wanted to change, or just my husband. I indicated that I would go with the regular tasting menu, but if it was easier to accommodate my husband for the request, I would go with that. He also said that he would prefer the burrata instead of the beets at that time.
A while later, she came back, and said that the chef could change out my husband’s tuna and beets, and keep mine as the offered tasting menu.
His oysters, which were delicious, came out. Next came two orders of burrata. Where was my tuna? And beets?
She explained that they must have misunderstood and we were going to get the same menu after all. Ok, but where were my oysters? She said they must have included both servings on the one plate. OK – but that would have been nice to know, since now I didn’t have an app!
But next was really bad, because we asked if we could get going, since we were going to be late now. So another server apologized and quickly got us our meat course. Which came out as lamb. We were expecting filet? The second server apologized and said that she was sorry, the menu was always changing, the original server must have made a mistake.
Very nice atmosphere, food was delicious.
DJ music was way too loud. Enjoy the space and the service was fantastic.
I loved everything about the restaurant. However, the service triggered one of my pet peeves. We were into our meal and wanted a second glass of wine. Our server walked past our table several times and never acknowledged us. We finally asked a bus person to get our server. He didn’t come. Finally a floor manager saw my wife and realized that she wanted something. He immediately got our server. My demand for all restaurants is that every time a server walks through the restaurant he/she make eye contact with someone at each table they serve. That way if something is needed it can be addressed right away. Otherwise, the restaurant and our meal were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the jazz entertainment.
2nd time here. 1st time dinner was delicious. This time appetizers were all good but mains of fish and steak were not good. Fish was way over cooked and dry as a bone. Steak was nowhere near the quality it should have been for the price. Disappointing! May try again but not any time soon.

This was the second time for me at this restaurant.
First time just cocktails. They have a nice cocktail list and make nice drinks but overpriced by at least $4.00 per cocktail.
The food that we ordered was very tasty but the portion size was ridiculous. Spent over $200.00 for 2 people - appetizers, entrees and dessert. Left hungry and hit some theater candy at Hamilton..... what a show!!
I have had several meals in the past and they have all been great. This is the first time we ordered bar food and it did not disappoint. Meatballs, arancini and calamari were all fantastic.
Great spot for pre theater. Location of course. But perfect small bites and entre selections too. Live music an added touch. Try the Amish Chicken!

We inadvertently booked the "bar" instead of the dining room, and turned out to be a good mistake. Food and service very good, and the atmosphere upstairs is very nice. An open, airy atmosphere, less stodgy than downstairs. Live jazz starting at @ 7pm. Very attentive service, food delicious.
Booked a table during restaurant week for a pre theatre dinner. Front of house staff were welcoming, however the extremely rude female waitress killed off any positive vibe as soon as she came to our table. We were told that we needed to allow a minimum of 30 minutes for each course of a 3 course dinner special. She then advised that she couldnt serve any food at all from the menu, took the menus away and replaced them with a snack/bar menu. We asked if we could order 2 courses instead but were told this was impossible. Could not believe why a commercial restaurant kitchen cant make 2 courses in 80 minutes???? Terrible experience
