The Ladbroke Arms
Such a great experience, went there early for drinks before being sat at our table and the ambience was great. Staff were very attentive and friendly, food was great and we'll definitely be back!
Third visit here and, again, had lovely food. I've eaten many a mushroom risotto, but this one was without doubt exceptionally good. Relaxed, and dog friendly.
Really enjoyed our meal here on a snowy evening. Charming staff. Delicious food and good fun. Thank you
Above average local pub
We went for Valentine's Day dinner and found the food and service impeccable. Prices were very reasonable as well. Very nice atmosphere as well. Lively but not too loud.
Best Sunday roast in west London with great wine selection
A nice atmosphere and very tasty food. A great local haunt.
Very noisy. We we’re 4 people aroubd a tavle and able to hear what the two on the other side of the table said.
As well, we arrived for our booked table 8.30pm and was only served the starters 9.00 and mains 10.15... and the place closed 11.30.. they apologiesed with extra bread, but not fair to wait that long.
Can only recommend this place for Sunday roast or outside eating. The place itself is lovely and good as a pub.
Excellent service in a friendly and comfortable neighbourhood pub. My Irish visitor and I were treated to an excellent dinner; and served by friendly and courteous staff.
Always a pleasure to eat at the "Laddie" where the food is beautifully prepared and cooked. It's also a great proper pub to go and have a couple of pints with friends or even solo...
Great inventive and delicious food.
Very friendly and helpful service.
Very uncomfortable table for two next to steps and half in a doorway.
Excellent service and delicious foo. Very friendly environment
I’ve been coming to this restaurant for 5 years. And last Friday was the worst experience by far. The lamb and steak arrived cold (after waiting for an hour for it!). We sent it back, and the steak came back chewy and hard. And they didn’t bother heating the lamb, it was still cold. There was no one to speak to as the waitresses were avoiding the back room entirely. We complained again when someone finally came over 40 min later- and her response was “well what do you want me to do?”. We explained I couldn’t even eat my steak bc it was so rubbery. She just shrugged her shoulders and left us to it.
The bill came, and we asked to speak to the manager. She apologised as they were short staffed and it was a busy night, so we were given a “discount” on inedible steak and cold lamb. We then asked to remove service bc it was so appalling. Hugely disappointing.
I was recommended Ladbroke Arms by a friend who was a regular costumer a couple of years age. Sunday dinner with the grown up sons was terrific.
We throughly enjoyed our first British Sunday roast
Very cosy and nice place. A lot of people there for lunch, but not full. I would recoment to book a table.
The Ladbroke Arms is a great local restaurant. It has retained its pub atmosphere in the front, whilst embracing fine dining. It has no music, which makes it perfect place to sit and converse, so great for business meetings.
Nice food! But felt sorry for the vegetarians in our party. A bit overpriced. Otherwise enjoyed it
Thoroughly enjoyed our evening, staff wonderful and very helpful. Twelve ate. Two didn’t enjoy the steaks, but the other ten choices were lovely.
Ladbroke arms never disappoints. Friendly and helpful staff, fantastic atmosphere. And the food is delicious and changes every week. What else
Awesome quality food cooked to perfection and quick service
Lovely pub for a casual lunch in London. All the dishes were superb but the desert chocolate shuffle with pistachio ice cream was upper class
Nice environment, friendly staff but some improvement needed when it comes to loģistics. We were served our soup first, then the "waiting beer" and when the soup were almost finished, the wine.
One of our main course was linguine . Quite alright in taste but it wasn't linguine.
The 28 Day Aged rib_eye steak was alright, not fantastic but good. I can't say that I was over enthusiastic that the whole steak was covered with sause... Could have been served seperate, would have improved my experience anyhow.
All in all a very genuine gastro pub with friendly atmosphere but with improvement areas..
Thanks Ronaldo and all the team for the warm welcome, sorry about the mess, Grazi's Hens Party couldn't be better!!
This used to be our favourite local restaurant to celebrate special occasions but we would now hesitate before returning
Was a lovely venue for a casual midday lunch. Will definitely be back the next time I’m in nottinghill :)
Great food, charming service - what more could one ask for?
It took one and a half hours to get our main course. It's obvious the kitchen cannot handle the volumes. The staff can only say that they had too many large parties. You would expect after such a long wait that your meal be discounted or even comped. In better news the food was good however the art of service is simply missing.
Food great. Location excellent. Great buzz. For the second visit in a row the service let us down. Very slow despite requests.
Very nice pup, the service and the food was excellent. Great and original ambience
Staff always extremely welcoming and friendly. Great wines at reasonable prices. One complaint is that serving of chips / fries is fraction of size / bowl it used to be!! Love the Laddy otherwise.
Solid Sunday lunch, good cooking and service, out door or at least fresh air, good value. Worth returning to.
We booked for a Sunday at 7pm by mistake and turned up on the Saturday for a table for 6. It was my mistake. The staff were brilliant and fitted us in. Service and food was wonderful with a great buzzy atmosphere. It was only the third time I have been there but it just gets better every visit! Definitely worth a regular visit going forward.
This was my second visit to The Ladbroke Arms and the food and service was as excellent as the first. I've been twice for business dinners and both times my guests have said the food was some of the best they've had in London.
Splendid evening at The Ladbroke Arms
This charming pub set in a gorgeous residental area of Nottingham Hill is a little gem !
The friendly vibe, jolly atmosphere & amazing attentive staff are a joy to behold.
People from all walks of life, sat chatting, laughing & sipping the wonderful array of quality wines on offer or fine ales, makes this the place to be.
The lovely front terrace with its pretty hanging baskets & "come take a seat & chat a while" benches all add to this oasis of happiness.
Then enter the main event ........the food !
WOW !! this is on a different level , SUBLIME
Every element on each plate, tickles & tantalis the tastbuds & takes you on a magical journey of wonder. If you are looking for a fine dinning experience with a twist at a reasonable price then this needs to be your destination.
Everything is freshly prepared & cooked to perfection & presented like a work of art.
Well done to everyone who has a hand in making the Ladbroke Arms our new favourite place to eat in London.
We had a very good experience at the Ladbroke Grove: all the dishes ordered were extremely well done and super-tasty. We'll definitely go back!
Cozy ambience, buzzy, great food! Recommend for lunch or dinner with friends and offers a classy British pub experience -- also fun for anyone visiting from abroad.
I have been to the Ladbroke Arms a few times and love their food and ambiance. Will definitely go back - on this occasion service was a little off (drinks did not arrive and they forgot the vegetables) but it never happened before, must have been an off night :)
We visited from California and booked 10 people for dinner The steak is mediocre very tasty but not cooked well The belly is very small but tasty and the side is interesting The service is great
Wonderful experience and will definitely go back. Would only recommend they keep the lights dimmed as was quite bright when we got there and the ambience was immediately improved when they lowered the lights at our request.
