   I had chicken Alfredo with a side salad that was very good. Nice inside. Then sat on patio till they closed drinking wine. Was a really pleasant surprise. I love sitting on patio. Service was exceptional. The only thing I missed was I was told there. Would be kareoke and they stopped doing it. Was in the mood for music.

   Everything was wonderful to the attentive (though not intrusive) service. Thanks Zoey! To the food and atmosphere. Shrimp fettuccine Devine! Fish and chips, superb. Jalapeño margarita, wonderful. Every time we are here we leave ready to return again. Definitely a must dine spot!

   This was a great night out for my husband and I. Sierra was a great server and everyone was welcoming. The Fish and Chips was wonderful. My husband had the chicken Alfredo. We would definitely get these again, but looking forward to going back to try other items as well. Definitely a place we will return to!

    Always a wonderful dining experience. The staff is wonderful, the food is great and the atmosphere is perfect. The waitresses always take care of the customers ( we have been served by all the waitresses and all are great). Overall a great restaurant.

    I asked for romantic seating. They seated us in front of the restroom door. It took an hour before our appetizer came. They brought me a glass of wine which I specifically said that I do not like dry wine. My other glass of wine had a gnat in it. Gnats were all over the table setting. Service was nearly nonexistent, yet they were not busy. We paid $33.95 for a poorly cooked, grisly ribeye. The potato was $5.95 extra. My filet was ordered medium. Arrived rare. Sent back and returned five minutes later over cooked. My husband’s rare ribeye was well done on the top half and pink on the other. My food was sent back so I did not eat. $88 bill.

    This place is very deceiving from the outside, WHAT A GEM!!!! When we opened the door it was like we stepped into a medieval castle! The catfish was great and plentiful with choice of different kinds of French fries and hush puppies. The waitress was awesome and very helpful. Will definitely come back when we return to Jefferson.

    Eating there was as good as any experience you can have in Dallas. The food is absolutely spectacular, well presented and elegant. My wife’s steak was tender enough to cut with a fork. I am a vegan and the vegan dishes were prepared in a spectacular manner. Actually in such a way that I was unsure it was actually vegan! One can also have a breakfast treat there even if you don’t stay in the bed and breakfast and the breakfast dishes are equally great. Do yourself a favor and book a date night out here. Considering that wine and drinks come with your dinner, the price is extremely good. The breakfast is also a great value because mimosas and bloody Mary’s are available at no extra charge.

    They were recommended by our bed-and-breakfast. The food was good, the staff was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere unique and fun. Nothing going on onstage, so the two of us had a quiet anniversary dinner. Would recommend to others.

    It was a nice place. It's not a fancy place. It has a medieval atmosphere (KNIGHTline). Food was good at a good price except for the vegetables that came with our dinners. Wife's dinner had four really thin pieces of asparagus and mine came with semi warm, al dente, bland broccoli. It's as if the vegetables were an afterthought.

    We all enjoyed our food here and the unique atmosphere. Our waitress was so sweet and very attentive. I wish I remembered her name. I have a gluten allergy and they were able to accommodate that too.

    I understand this is a small town and with COVID things happen. However, we made reservations (like other people apparently) and there were several empty tables but said reserved when we asked the hostess about it she couldn't give us an answer just said they were reserved. So apparently, some people rate higher than others and get the better table the rest of us get set by the door where the staff go in and out. The service was despicable. The waitress is new, understandable she was slow and learning, but nobody offered to help her and we sat ans waited, I didn't get my soup until after my food, we never got any water or offered any water. It was a real shame how poorly everything was executed.

    Go here!!! We arrived at our reservation time of 8:30. They had changed their hours from the online posted time from 10:00 pm to 9:00. They never made us feel rushed. Our waitress kept saying stay as long as you like! Food was great. Drinks were really good too! It was so good we returned the next night! My entree didn’t come out the same but they took it back and fixed it no problem! Highly recommend.

    My wife has the salmon and it was amazing. Son had the chicken fried steak and it was way big. I had the chicken topped with cheese and bacon with a siracha bbq sauce. It was ok. Could have had more sauce.

    This was Valentine's Day Dinner. The meal was delicious. The dessert advertised Sir Lancelot Mousse was fair. We were thinking the music would be soft and romantic. Absolutely not! The singer performed tear jerkers that we anything but romantic. The music was extremely loud and became louder every song. We asked our waitress to hurry with our ticket so we could leave. We are locals and frequently eat at this restaurant and was totally disappointed.

    Wonderful, as usual. I guess we’re considered regulars by now. Whenever we go, it’s like going home. We have our favorite waitress (Holly) and Chef Mike and the owner, Richard always come out to speak to us. Yes, The Knightlight Tavern is the best!

    I always have and always will love the Knightlight Tavern. The best place to eat in Jefferson! It’s very hard to eat anywhere else when we’re in Jefferson, knowing The Knightlight is open.

    Was a recommendation of our Bed and Breakfast hosts. Service was awesome, staff was friendly. Ribeye was perfect but the Shrimp and Grits was even better. Went on a night with some live music, it wasn't too loud which was just right.
