Decent Argentinian azado restaurant. Service is good. Compared to other locations in South Florida...the Orlando one doesn't give you as much value. Seem to be too much a la carte and nicks and diming on sodas, empanadas, deserts etc. Overall ok but not a place I will frequent. Many more choices providing higher quality meals, better atmosphere and overall better value. A solid 3 star experience where a strong 4 is so achievable.
I read the reviews and checked out the website. When you go there, a sign let's you know they reserve the right to change the menu. The food was the cheapest of quality. I was so disappointed I wasted good money for this. At least the staff was friendly.
Food was just Ok, bought the two for $50 Groupon which was a savings of about $6 per person - didn't realize that instead of giving us the normal dinner meal at a discount (which is what I am used to with Groupons) that the drink and the dessert was subtracted. Had a party of three so had to buy one meal regular price - wine that came with the meal was horribly dry - and undrinkable for my wife and I. Hindsight 20/20 we should have just stick with Texas de'Brazil. Food and experience way better.
Great food. I love steak and it was cooked perfectly!
Meat was bland and you get the same cut regardless of how you ordered it.( Rare) cooks are sweating on the food while you order it.
Meat believe it or not off the grill....cold, tough, and tasteless. Not good at all. I tried everything up there. The only thing that was remotely tasty was sausage which was rather pink inside so I was even nervous to fully eat that. Will not be going back! Way Overpriced as well!
Great service. The food was flavorful but was not as temperature hot as i would have luked it.
Very Disappointed. First off the photo's on the website and the actual place are nothing alike. It was dusty and dirty. While waiting on our other family member to arrive we decided to wait at the bar. The bartender took forever to acknowledge us. The place was pretty empty and no one was at the bar. He just keep doing what he was doing. My husband asked if Id like a glass of wine and as I looked up at the wine glasses hanging right over my head they where so dusty that it grossed me out. So I decided I would skip the bar. The bathrooms where dirty, the stall door did not even latch. The meat station was scarce with meat and the open pit they show was not even working only the BBQ grill portion. The staff cooking was pushy and rude. When we asked about the different meats they laughed at us as if we where stupid. They basically gave you what they wanted us to have. I had to tell the guy "NO" I don't want that. The meats had sat on the grill so long everything was dry and very difficult to eat. As for the salad bar it was ok but nothing to get excited about. You can get sides at the table, but only french fries, mash-potatoes , or sweet potatoes fries. I was so disappointed with our experience. My husband called the manager over and he told him the meat was not edible and he told him I will get you more. And that he did, the same cold tough meat he had before. It was Fathers Day and my husband just reached the point he refused to eat. When we left he spoke to 2 managers which basically told him the Tourist like it. My husband told him, I'm leaving your restaurant hungry and they just smiled as if they did no care. It is very over priced for what you get. The meal was $34.00 per person plus tax. Mixed drink cost $24.oo. So we left paying a bill of $160.00 3 meals , 2 drinks and the tip. And my husband did not even eat. We left there only to have to go to another place so he could eat dinner. Do yourself a favor and pick another place to eat...
Enjoyed all that was offered and the atmosphere was great staff friendly
The staff is excellent and they really make you feel welcome and the quietness allows for conversation but the flys really turned me off I ate maybe 10 dollars of food before the flys ruined my appetite by landing on the food. After that I just could eat so I paid 50 and ate ten dollars worth of food so no I can't recommend to anyone.
My server was outstanding he was on time with drinks politeness and customer service was on point. When I mentioned it was my girlfriend's birthday they came out with a cake on the plate with candle lit and sang happy birthday.
The food was very filling I could not get past the first plate with as much meat as I had on one plate...
The desert with a thick caramel flan was amazing..
The only downfall halfway through our meal a customer could not control her baby from crying and was kind of noisy in the way...
And I will say the alcoholic drinks we had taste good but you know sadly I would assume I did not feel like it was enough alcohol maybe the ratio of portion of the shots were not as I expected in such a large drink
Really loved this place. Great food, friendly staff and fantastic value for money.
Will visit again at very opportunity.
This restaurant had pretty good side items and chicken but if you want to go for steak, which is what they are known for, don't go. It is thin and tasteless and it feels like I'm at Golden Corral. I would've rather ate at outback. I do not recommend, if I could leave 0 I would.
The salad bar was fantastic, lots of good and unique items. Howeverbthats really the only good thing i have to say. Its $30 a person and the wine and meat were mediocre at best.
Good but not great. Salad bar was passable. There were some decent selections. Food was fresh and crisp; several options for dressings and sauces. Meat selections were good, but not great. The ribs were very good. Top sirloin steak was good and cut according to preference ( medium rare, etc.). Meat server was not all that friendly, but all other wait staff were pleasant and eager to please. The serving area for the meat could use a little improvement, but on the other hand if you don't mind a rustic presentation then you might like the open cooking environment where you can actually see the hot coals and food being cooked before your eyes. With the Groupon it was a fair price, and overall we had a good meal. Drink prices were reasonable.
A+++++++ Excellent food and service.%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
Extremely disorganized, we made reservations and was dismissed and had to wait in a very rowdy and disorganized line that exited through the door. Our server was great and the food tasted okay. They need to rethink how guest can get meats without having to be in a line waiting over 15 minutes to get meat.
Worst time on my life. Always wanted to go but not worthed. Make reservation 2.30 got the at 1.45 wair for 2 hours to be seated.and then keep waiting for somebody to assisted....... finally going to fogo the chao. Bestttttt foooddd ever
Waiting time was terrible the front desk person was skipping people on the list I had a reservation but she said it's first come first serve even with reservation that person was rude and nasty when I approached to her to ask why I got skip on the list a person who just walk up got a table before all the people was waiting for over 1 hour and the respond was because he had 6 people and the other have 4 and 7 the guy who was serving the meat was giving you what he want not what you ask everything was very disorganized no manager avaliables to talk nothing I will never choose for special events
We had an awesome experience. We will definitely be back. I have already told my friends they need to go to the knife to enjoy amazing food, amazing wait staff, and ambiance.
The restaurant was clean and, the staff friendly. The salad bar was good and always full. The main dishes were prepared right in front of you. I would recommend for a group of people. The rooms are big so there is plenty of room for a party. It was a good experience.
You have a lot of things to get better, I was really disappointed, I thought it was going to be a better experience, you should have more variety of meets and you should improve the desserts, I would not going back.
This is a meat lovers dream. Little different slant on Brazil steak, you walk to grill and pick out your own choice.
Was good, worth the money if you like meat.
We had Sunday lunch at the The Knife. The whole experience started with every employee having an attitude of hating there jobs. The salad bar was plain and the meat was tasteless. If you asked for anything when you could understand them the answer was we don't have it or its on the opposite bar that you were at. I love Brazilian steak houses but not this one. Try one of the others in town.
The food was OK. It is way overpriced & the service was TERRIBLE. $25 doesn't include drinks and if you want one, it'll run you $17-$30 each! NOT KIDDING! This place is NOT worth it!
The restaurant wasn't too crowded when we got there and we were seated immediately. The food was amazing. The salad bar had many really good dishes and sauces to go with the meats. Great house wine. The guys at the grill were generous and friendly. Our waitress was a little detached, kind of walking off mid sentence, but otherwise helpful. I was a little skeptical because of some negative reviews, but experiences are what you make of them. We will definitely be going back.
Just, ok. First time there, was much better. Too many missing menu items, grill guy grumpy that night
Awesome service, the manager omar was very attentive with us ,love the food .
Excellent variety in meat cuts; a better alternative to the Brazilian churruscarías. The also include a bottle of wine per person with the meal, which is a great value for the price.
I have been there before it was much nicer and the food was better. The place looked worn and the food was over cooked and the drink my daughter had was very sweet. The service was good , the cook was very nice but I didn't enjoy the food. I was disappointed :-(
My husband took me there for my birthday, food was awesome, service was great. Would come back again.
Food was sub-par, service not good. Overall horrible experience....regret every dime I spent!!!!!!
Food was terrible and the service was terrible. It took nearly 2 hours to for a 1 hour lunch.
My family and I went for my fathers birthday. We were very dissapointed that they did not have empanadas that day. The server told us that it was because the empanadas were being made for a large party that was coming in. We were a party of 11 and we as well as the rest of the consumers in the restaurant should have gotten them as well. I have had their empanada there before and was looking forward to eating them, I was very dissatisfied that they did not plan accordingly to have some available for the rest of the guest.
I will not go back to this restaurant anymore. The place was dirty, the salad bar was not fresh, I had a Potato salad that tasted bad. Since I entered to the place, I did not like it but anyway I took the risk to eat over there. This is a place with the quality of a Golden Corral but with prices more expensive due to you pay $33 per lunch person against Golden Corral that you only pay a half of the amount. I got sick after eating in that place.
Food was horrible. Service was even worse. Waited almost 20 minutes to get check. Steak was more like eating leather shoes. Sangria, was blah, might as well have been HI-C fruit punch. Salad bar was not a salad bar, choices are very limited.
We were sat at a table, then we went to get food to cone back to people sitting at our table. They sat people at our table, so we had to move. I was upset about what happened and if seemed none of the staff seemed to care. The food was great. Wait staff not good at all.
I was not impressed with this restaurant and I was expecting a better choice of food.
