The Knick consistently serves delicious food. The service is excellent! It's a great place to see and be seen, also.

The Knick is our "go to" downtown dinner spot. We are rarely disappointed. There are, occasional high traffic instances where the kitchen will fall uncomfortably behind with 30-40 minute waits. These nights can be frustrating, but 95% of the time we can count on exceptional service, great food at a reasonable price and reasonable wait times on the kitchen. I would happily recommend the Knick to others, but I kind of want to keep it to myself

We ate early and the place really got noisy and crowded by 7:30 pm. The food was good and reasonably priced. I am glad we were not too close to the bar, and could carry on a conversation. Personally I prefer a quieter setting, but people really seemed to like the ambiance.

We met up with 2 of my cousin's to catch up. We were so involved in conversation that I didn't pay close attention to the food aspect except to say it all tasted good, and the service was good.

Love the heated outdoor patio for sitting in the sun in winter! Food always and consistently delicious. Prices fair for similar restaurants but ambiance so much better!

Food was fresh, delicious and plentiful, and the staff, was super friendly! Reservations are recommended, but they were able to seat us right away on a busy Friday evening before a Bucks game!
Sunday brunch and Friday evening visit won’t be our last! When visiting Milwaukee-Definitely give the Knick a try, It won’t disappoint!

Love the vibe at the Knick! Food is creative and delicious. Had the Cuban sandwich and spicy shrimp happy. Would go back and order the same again!

Delightful breakfast experience ! After an early morning art museum visit this restaurant gem is a short and pleasant walk away. Meals prepared to perfection, delivered by thoughtful servers, quiet ambiance, healthy portions and, delicious food. Breakfast potatoes (real!) crispy brown, eggs fully cooked, plated well and seasoned to perfection. Definitely will rerun for more.

Our service was prompt and professional. We were given a table by a window making the meal extra fun...watching people. The food was ample and delicious!

My son’s 18th birthday, also joined by my daughter and her boyfriend who both attend Marquette University. The Knick is a long-time family favorite, as it is always excellent in every way. Brunch menu has something for everyone. Server was upbeat and helpful. Food was excellent quality, nice portions. and really a good value. Ambience is great as always. Just a great experience for a special occasion or an everyday meal.

The Cafe is elegant yet relaxed enough that on the coldest day of the new year people were at ease with heavy-duty gear, jeans, etc. The Brunch menu is not extensive but carefully curated. The salmon omelette ($14) was excellent. Service on a busy Sunday was outstanding. I made an online reservation and recommend that.

Our reservation was for 7 pm. We arrived just a bit early and seated promptly. We had some friends join us just for a drink so the host asked if we could move to a larger table in the bar area, which was fine. But then it seemed they forgot about us. Took almost 30 minutes to get our drinks, another 15 before they took our dinner order. Finally had our dinner served about 90 minutes after our arrival. After my husband went to search for someone to serve us they seemed to do much better in terms of checking on us and getting drink orders (more friends joined us later in the evening). But it was a bit odd how long it took initially. Otherwise a fun evening.

The ambience here is fantastic! It was happy hour time frame so a lot of people and noisey, but annoying. Our waitress was nice and attentive. Its very dark at the tables and hard to see the menus. I had to use the light on my phone. I would reccomend a candle of sort on the tables. The food was really good. My mom had the pork chop it was very tender. The only negative thing about it, is that it comes with s cherry glaze, which IS excellent, however, it also is over the potatoes and green beans etc etc. I had the herb chicken. Excellent. We also had the Creme Brulee, yum! Looking forward to dining here again. So many more things to try. Almost forgot, the brussel sprouts are a MUST have try!

Our server was excellent! The food was very good. The only critique is that there was too much butter on the scallops dinner that took away from the flavor of the scallops. Everything else was very good.

The food at the Knick is always very good. I enjoyed the crab hash dish. The toast was excellent. Coffee is also very good. Hubby had the polish sausage and eggs and liked it. Generous serving of meat too. Nice cosy place. Our server was very pleasant and helpful. I’ve only eaten breakfast here, but plan to try it for dinner sometime.

Server able to split the meals in the kitchen with nice presentation on both plates. You would never know each player wasn't it's own meal.

the whole dining experience was wonderful. from checking in was a breeze, wait time was minimal, food was excellent and priced right, no rushing of getting us out of the restaurant, very relaxing. Highly recommend

New Year’s Eve. My wife and I enjoyed our meals, the service was excellent and we got out before the craziness began!

Had dinner with my son and we enjoyed a tasty dinner with dessert. The appetizer special was delicious, well-presented and original. Dinners were well executed versions of classics. Service was friendly and drinks were good. We'd definitely return!

This is our go-to spot for dining. Versatile menu. Great service. Love the ambience. Had the best booth in the house for the first time. That was great. Lovely decorations displayed for the holidays. All of our entrees were very good. And so were the salads and soup of the day.

Was seated right away was greeted with friendly people food was very good. We had a great time.

Love The Knick but don't like the light level since the outdoor dining area was covered...making it very dark in the restaurant.

Came to have brunch at one of our favorite restaurants. We can recommend the croissant sandwich and the biscuits and gravy. Great service and great food. Be sure to come for brunch.

We have never had an unsatisfactory meal there. Good place for a date or small party.
