The individual folks working at this sprawling hotel restaurant were nice enough, and the food wasn't terrible, but the organization was terrible. I had to beg a passing server to run my card because mine had disappeared (it took about 10 minutes between getting the check and me flagging down someone to run my card, and during the entire meal I had zero refills on coffee, water, or juice). A friend of mine who ate at the restaurant the next day ended up getting his meal comped entirely because the service was so slow. If you need to visit this restaurant I'd encourage you to use the buffet; expecting a server to visit your table more than once seems like a fantasy!
Made reservations at the restaurant, Kitchen Table, for a group of 8 at 12:30 pm for lunch. Restaurant was 80% empty when we arrived at 12:20 pm and they wouldn't sit us because the waiter was on his lunch break. We waited until he got back before we sat. Menu is very limited. Make sure you eat before you come here. The food was very low standard. There is a bar in the lobby called the Flash that had better food than this "full service" restaurant. Service was poor. We asked several of the other wait staff for our checks or refills on drinks and they told us they would get our waiter even though they had the water pitcher in their hand. The atmosphere is very 1980s. Tables were scratched and skylights were green with algae. Enough said??
This meal was with an important business vendor. The food was very overpriced & was just okay. Appetizer was fried tomatoes, the batter on the outside was too think to enjoy the tomato on the inside. My coworker ordered the tortellini & for $18 he only got 3! On top of that the taste was very bland. I ordered the crab cake sandwich & it was probably the best meal at our table. It was very delicious. Overall my experience with The Kitchen Table was sub-par. I would not bring another vendor to this location.
A medium rare burger that was well done and cold. Cold fries. No onion rings as advertised but that's as well, as my companion's onion rings looked and tasted as though they came from a can. I ate here four times and had one reasonable cheese sandwich. But $30 including tip for a waffle that was both cold and crumbled because it was so dry (and thick). I've never written a negative review but I was astonished how bad this place was, and because of a tight schedule, I didn't have the time to explore other places in the area until the last night and morning.
Abysmal service- incredibly slow and when food finally did come, it was wrong. The server did not know that a wine we ordered from the wine list was available. The manager admitted it was a best seller, and could not understand why the server would say it was out of stock. After more than ten minutes, the manager brought the wine.
We returned food twice. One of our party was drinking coca cola with no ice - the wait was way too long, and when it came, it had ice - three different times!
Then the server had the temerity to ask us to recommend her for the management program.
For Sheraton patrons, this restaurant is just downstairs. It's light and cheery with lots of room between tables so it's quiet and your conversations are private, yet it has a friendly feel as you see people come and go. The food is delicious, but typical of big hotels, it's a bit pricey. The hamburger was delicious with thin a crispy onion rings on top. The waiter was very willing to modify.
Server was very attentive & accommodating, but that can't make up for the quality or variety of food. Options are very limited with in-hotel dining at the Sheraton.
Great in every way. Fun place.
Visit was on 6/15/15, because of the occupancy our only option was to eat from the buffet which was hamburgers, tater tots, salad and cookies. Very disappointed in the quality of food.
This is a nice restaurant in a nice hotel... I will go there again
