Very interactive and unique experience. Lots of food and you can have as much of whatever you want. They really do cater to your needs. Great price considering you have the ability to eat any and everything. You won’t leave hungry unless you don’t ask for more. I’d dine here again.

Fantastic experience. Great vibe and social event. Out of 62 people there was only one person who obviously was not happy. Too bad for her.
The entire experience lasted from 7pm to 11:30pm with room to stay and eat more but by that time I had already consumed 5-6 thousand calories. We both woke up the next day with a food hangover. Definitely all worth it though.
Hats off to the staff for making the night memorable and catering to everyone’s needs and wants. We will be back!

By far the best dining experience I have ever had. It felt like I was invited to a dinner party at a friend’s home who happened to be a celebrity chef. Expensive yes, but worth every penny.

Going to the Kitchen was an amazing experience. There was not a single thing my friend and I did not enjoy. Everything was on point. I have already recommended my parents and friends to check you guys out. Thank you again for making a night out with my best friend memorable and fantastic. Oh, and the wine was delicious. The new Reisling, Soil to Soul, to die for.

This was the third time for us at The Kitchen (3/21/19). It was outstanding. The "ringmaster" was excellent. The spiel for the various courses was more brief and less snooty than before and that was refreshing. It is terribly overpriced but we knew that going in. Still, the wine/food pairing at St. Francis Winery is about $80 per person, for example, and every bit as good, so $300+ per person seems hard to justify. The food was excellent and there was plenty of it. Anyone who goes away hungry just isn't taking advantage of the buffet on the Intermission or the announced opportunity to order seconds for any/all of the courses. We'll be back as soon as there is a special occasion to justify another $685 for two tab. It is always an experience, and for that it's worth it, sort of.

First off... "No" is not an option. We decided to book reservations for this place after friends raved about it, telling us there food bill was 800.00, but it was amaze balls! We had to book 2 weeks In advance. It books really fast, but check everyday or call because cancellation do happen!

We had our reservations on a Friday night. I tried to starve myself, because I'm always on a diet and wanted to waste all my calories on dinner. Let me tell you if you come here being on a diet is Not An Option !!! Once chef Kelly made his intro I know I would be eating and drinking everything!!! Honestly if you come here just get what you want! Don't come on a budget or on a diet. When you come LIVE!!

I'm not even going to go into details on the main courses. What I am going to tell you about is the secret menu. The secret menu is super special because it's basically... ANYTHING YOU WANT!!!! We had great baked cookies a peanut butter & jelly burger and.... they ran to the store to get us reese's peanut butter cups!

As for alcohol I would recommend trying the paired wines with the courses. They have 2 different choices one is more of a house and the other is a specialty. We got one of each, both we're just as good.

Besides all the amazing food the best part was the people. The staff was great! The service was amazing, I felt like I knew everyone. The guest were also super nice and friendly we met a ton of new foodie friends.

A highlight of the evening was when we ask the chefs about hollandaise sauce, because I recently tried to make it at home and drastically failed. They brought us to the back at the end of the night and personally showed us how to make it. Now I'm at home at 3 am trying to perfect my hollandaise.

I was already planning on making our next reservation here! This was by far the best dinner I have every had In my life. I will be back again and again!

Overall ambience was great. Initial waiter attention to detail was lacking: as everyone got their water and ordered drinks with exception of us. Tries too hard to sell drinks. Like going to a car dealership than a restaurant. Most food was ok. Small dishes lacking flavor. Some dishes were too salty and overall cooking not as consistent.

This is a regular reservation for us a couple of times a year, always bringing along friends or family members. It has been one of our favorite for a very long time. This trip I was especially excited because much of the menu was centered around mushrooms which i love. That being said, I was a little disappointed in the last two dishes (pork cheek and Montana beef) as they tasted almost identical - the consistency, the sauce on the meat and it was so extremely rich that I literally could not eat the second dish. My favorite was the dumpling. We also had a bit of a sharp drink host. We ordered the reserve wine pairing, in addition to an extra bottle of bubbly, but at the beginning of the night he was gone for long periods of time leaving us parched. Not typical for The Kitchen. Still one of the most delightful experiences you can have in Sacramento for a 5 star meal.

Our overall experience was fantastic! What you are paying for is the experience. It’s a 4 hour event of food, drinks, and laughter. The reserve wine flights were amazing! Paired perfectly with each dish. They make you feel at home here. You can do and order whatever you want. It’s limitless. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Indescribable dining experience and can’t wait to go back. Every single staff member from server to executive chef delivered the best service we’ve ever had. Hands down a must try experience for all! The only thing you will regret is not going! Try the wine pairing. It was fun and the pourer was so knowledgeable on all the wines being poured which added an unexpected element to the pairing.

I would say the ambience is very nice the chef had great enthusiasm, overall i had a good experience with all the people who served or was entertaining. It’s been a few years since I’ve been to the kitchen. This time I would say overall as far as the food I was quite disappointed. They say they accommodate you if you have any dietary needs the only one I had was I do not eat raw food, for the price you’re paying I was expecting kind of an exceptional meal. With that said the chef decided instead of serving me the scallop ceviche I was just given cucumbers it wasn’t thrilling. Also my second act instead of putting something else in it, it was just taken out of the dish again more stuff was removed. The intermission was a bummer for me as most of the stuff was raw and it was almost impossible for me to figure out which ones weren’t, they did not specify which were cooked.
I will get to the main two courses, both of them were almost exactly the same, both beef dishes were pot roast style. The first one really upset my stomach I could not enjoy the last two acts. I feel like the downfall for those who are making reservations is that you do not know what the menu will be as it’s booked out in advance. Also I’m not sure if they alternate chefs, everyone has their own opinion on flavor and taste and I wasn’t feeling it. Unfortunately this experience from the kitchen was not that great to me and I probably would not come back for the price I paid. Had the menu been accommodating more to “my dietary” like specified instead of just taking things out, or offered more of a unique menu where things were not exactly the same I would definitely come back again. I really loved Chef Noah he had great menu acts, it also was great to see the owner back then come to some of the presentations. Like I said it’s been a few years since I’ve visited the kitchen with the same high expectations, unfortunately this time it just did not live up to it.

The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. The wine and various spirits were hand selected and matched the unique food. I've been a few times, food is good, some of the dishes melt in your mouth and others you can honestly say no thank you. It's a fun energetic environment that lets you explore dinning in a different way. If you've never been you should. I think the quality of the cuisine speaks for itself, however, the different chefs roll out different mouthwatering food so you never know what to expect. Didn't particularly like 2 of 5 courses my last visit.
