Very good food and excellent to have area for kids to play
It was great a little pricey if you dont hsve an appetite but the food and the service was great.........
Reservation made a month in advance, excited about the “kitchen” look of the place. When we arrived it was largely empty and rather than being seated somewhere that could see the food prep and the entertaining aspect, or even seated near to a pool view, we got a table as far from the center as possible. No view, no ambiance, very disappointing. Food was ok but nothing special, service a little worse. Not recommended.
Bruch I assumed was breakfast and lunch however, only breakfast foods were served and if there was any lunch it was a very minimal amount. It was very expensive to serve only breakfast. Service was great and parking was validated so overall it wasn't all awful.
Mothers Day Brunch
The Kitchen is always a great experience - fun ambience and great food!
The food was fantastic and the brunch for Mother’s Day made my wife feel very special! This is absolutely wonderful!
Food was amazing but our server was severely lacking. He was honestly awful. Barely stopped at our table. Took an HOUR to get his attention for a refill... great restaurant, wonderful food but it just is lackluster when factoring in our server. From my observation it was our server as a one, not the whole staff in general.
We enjoyed The Kitchen for Mothers Day and the offerings are top notch. We have dined here previously for Mothers Day brunch and is scrumptious. This time our family of 4 invited the grandparents to join us. Let me start with saying every bite was spectacular and we love the atmosphere. A large variety from basic options to specialized omelette/carving stations, delectable pastries, etc.. My husband says it was the best biscuits/gravy he's ever had! All of that said... Just a heads up on the bill/gratuity. Our total tab came to just under $300 for a buffet for a family of 6 . My husband and I were treating, so we would be taking care of the bill - however - my dad hastily insisted on "at least" paying the tip, took cash out and handed directly to our server as she gave us our bill (in an effort to make sure he was "helping out" and not allowing me to cover it in typical "dad" fashion). Upon then reviewing our bill, I noticed an 18% "service charge" had been added. So we wound up double paying the gratuity - which was pretty high, given our total bill. Maybe this policy was stated on the menu (which we didn't look at since it was a buffet). In the end, it was probably our mistake for not having foresight to ask about policies, but still felt a little sneaky that it could have been presented more clearly (and perhaps trained staff better on this specific subject)...Acknowledging buffet guests may not look at the menu -yet not bringing it to our attention upon seating, ordering or even at the time of presenting the bill. To accept the cash knowing we hadn't reviewed the bill. The gratuity is actually called "service charge", not "gratuity" (which I overlooked at first glance). 18% is a bit high considering it's a buffet and only water/coffee were delivered/refilled (where 20% is standard for full table service). I suppose we could have asked the server for it back, but that also seemed in bad taste. So we consider it a lesson learned.
Every time we are in Orlando, the Kitchen is a MUST! We absolutely love this place. Our Mother’s Day brunch was delish....as usual! Thank you The Kitchen
Excellent food, but a little pricey.
Food was way too salty. The service was good and the table magician was great.
Excellent in every way. Made my son's 11th birthday extra special!
We had the breakfast buffet and was it delicious! I was in heaven with the omelet station offering Eggs Benedict made to order!! Highly recommend dining here 😋
Server Tracy was friendly, helpful and full of great recommendations! Large gluten free menu to choose from and our meals were delicious. We were seated right away and the service that followed was quick but not rushed in any way. Prices were reasonable and we would definitely return!
We made our reservation through Open Table and when we arrived the hostess said they would prefer if we made our reservation directly with the Hard Rock and promptly cancelled our Open Table reservation - which cancelled our points. We were seated right away anyway. The food is okay - huge portions. We highly recommend sharing the club sandwich, etc. as the portions are huge. Service was excellent and follow up with the manager was very good. It is a restaurant that you will want to walk around and explore the memorabilia. It was good, but not great.
It’s a convenient place to eat if staying at the Hard Rock hotel. It has a casual atmosphere so you don’t have to worry about getting too dressed up for dinner. I got the red snapper and it was average. The fish was pan seared too much. My husband got the strip steak and said it was very good. I don’t know why they chose to serve the kids meals on plastic trays, much like the ones they get at school. Service was fair, at best. The waiter messed up both of our drink orders, bringing the wrong beer to my husband and my drink was mixed with water versus the soda water I requested.
Seated immediately and service prompt. Good food. Wings fab!
Great ambiance ,amazing food, reasonable pricing. Went with our family for breakfast and enjoyed every minute of it.
Excellent from start to finish. The best food and dining experience we had on our while trip!
Food fantastic, great choice. Service good but no acknowledgement of my birthday which is a shame as they did last time. We were the first customers of the day so there wasn’t a huge amount of atmosphere but that’s was fine. It’s a cool space, lots of memorabilia.
The menu catered to all four of us dining (two adults and one 13 and 8 year old). The youngest was able to participate in “kids can cook” and had slot of fun (I never had sausage in a quesadilla, it was delicious of course). Both adult entrees (tenderloin and tuna) were cooked perfectly to our extreme rare level. We had reservations elsewhere the next night, but with the convenience staying at the Hard Rock hotel and the great experience our first night, we came again. It was another great experience.
We visited the restaurant for the breakfast buffet.....that doesn’t exist!!!!! Website advertises buffet but they don’t have one-apparently only during holidays.
The server was nice and you get a lot of food for your money. The decor is gorgeous!!
This was supposed to be a $ but truly more like $$
Great dinner and great service. Nice offering of tap beers!
My family and I enjoyed a great Easter brunch. Cannot imagine a better experience.
Your staff went to great lengths to accommodate my granddaughter's dietary needs.
She is currently a very strict vegan as well as being gluten-free. The chef personally visited
our table and listed all the special entrees that he would be willing to make for her.
I was very impressed with the manner in which he and our server truly went the extra mile
to insure that everyone would be completely satisfied.
Kudos also to the team of lovely young ladies who greeted us as we entered the area.
They were warm and welcoming.
Thank you to all who helped make our day such a wonderful experience.
This is a hidden gem in Orlando, Florida! Six holiday brunches per calendar year; delicious food, nice presentation and attentive staff. Easter brunch was top notch; worth going back in the future. The Easter Bunny made rounds and kids were kept busy with holiday stuff. All kids had kid pricing up to age 17; very family friendly . Well done Hard Rock!
Family Easter brunch was fabulous! The food choices were wonderful and everything tasted delicious!
We come to the Kitchen every year for Easter Brunch and have a great time but this year it was different experience. I was fortunate to get the reservation time that I was looking for when I called the restaurant after booking through Open table. We did arrive 15 to 20 minutes later than anticipated as I had hurt my back and didn’t even think I could attend with the rest of my party. We tried calling to alert them that we’d be late but no one picked up. Upon arrival, my husband spoke to one of the 3 young ladies at the host station. She said she hadn’t canceled the reservation and would get a table cleaned for us and seated. Well, 30 minutes later, we asked again and got the same response. It took over 45 minutes to get seated. We were offered a table at the patio, high top, and we had a person on a wheelchair ??? What? Anyhow, when we finally were seated all the way in the back thorough the maze of tables, with a wheelchair, we were being seated at a table That could clearly accommodate only six people, of which we were a party of eight. There is no way we would fit comfortably. They were empty tables around and one next to us so we asked if they could please put those two tables together so that we could actually have room to which they said of course. Why would we have to be the ones coming up with this? I think the scheduling issues and table arrangements could have definitely been worked better and more efficiently. This is the last year that we will be attending brunch at the kitchen. I rather go to the Gaylord palms or Rosen where you get your moneys worth in food selection and service.
Food was very good but our server was just ok. He was nice but was slow to clear plates. It looks like they could have used more wait staff. This was Easter Buffet so clearing plates should have been a high priority.
Easter and my birthday
I did not expect a buffet or I would not have made a reservation. I had my 1 year old grandson and I was UNABLE to enjoy all the buffet stations because I could not leave him alone and the high chair was not on wheels. I spent $65.oo and ate a $20.oo meal. P.S. my daughter is a nurse at a very large hospital in Orlando and works the night shift and could not join us and my son-in-law is in Iraq and he obviously could not join us. I just wish I could have ordered off the menu so I could have sat down, been waited on and enjoyed my meal. Thank You.
Awesome Easter Buffet
Four of us went. Our server seemed very nice but I had to remind him after 20 mins that I hadn’t gotten my wine. The blue cheese/balsamic potato chips and pretzel sticks with beer cheese were great appetizers. My husband had chicken paillard and my son had the Mac and cheese and they both ate every bite.
Went back a second night bc we liked the place so much. Great staff and food!!
Part of a family trip, super kid friendly (7-12 y.o.), great menu (bacon covered meatloaf), huge salads, staff are fantastic, very friendly. Setting is great. Liked it so much we went back 2 nights later (Kitchen burger) bring your appetite. Different staff second time, same great service.
Quiet and friendly- my pizza came out cold and my family said their entrees were decent.
Entire facility needs training on hospitality code no personal attention to detail especially from hard Rock Hotel staff and restaurant. Reserved at 8 o’clock dinner reservation which was later than we wanted but was told all they had. Showed up there were two dozen tables open staff reported they had
