The Kitchen at Hard Rock Hotel Ratings and Reviews
Food portions were huge and delicious. We loved the pretzel breadsticks that are served with a meal! Apparently characters roam the restaurant on Saturday evenings, which was a fun surprise for us. Be sure to save room for dessert -- and bring a crowd to help you finish!
Concert going on in the hotel lobby could be heard in the restaurant, so it was kind of noisy. The place was full even for a later dinner time, we ate at 8:30. Service was kind of slow due to how busy it was. Food was good with good menu selections and choices for the kids.
The staff were all very nice. Service was slow but it was busy. Our steaks were cooked perfect but the sides were cold and our daughters chicken was so dry that she couldnt eat it. For the price I dont think I would be back as there are alot nicer out there.
We stayed at a nearby resort and wanted to try The Kitchen at The Hard Rock Hotel. The food was excellent, and they were very accommodating of my gluten allergy. I mentioned that to our excellent waiter, Bowen, and he put some gluten free bread in the oven. It didn't look like anything special but it was the the best I have had. The only negative that evening was that the restaurant was absolutely freezing with the AC, even with sweaters on, so we decided to eat outside. As nice as it was outside, I would have preferred sitting inside, as it is a beautiful restaurant. The entrees were all excellent! We rarely order dessert, but Bowen brought the sample tray around, and we ordered 4 desserts. They were superb! Overall, it was a great dining experience. We dine out 4 nights a week, even when home, and we will stop back here on our next vacation to Orlando!
We had breakfast here and it was incredible. A must try is the Elvis french toast and fresh squeezed orange juice. We loved our waiter. He was so friendly, outgoing, and helpful. We decided to do the buffet. The buffet is massive. They have an omelet bar( eggs, omelets, eggs benedict) and a grill bar( pancakes, waffles, and french toasts). Then there are 4 other different areas. Ones the regular buffet area that has scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries and a couple others then one with grits and oatmeal where you can put cheese on your grits or raisins on your oatmeal. Then one with fresh fruit and yogurt and then an area for toast(bagels, bread) and then a cereal area. All were amazing. I highly recommend going back again and again!!
Food and sodas are a little pricey, but it is a resort I guess. Mac-n-cheese is the best around ($15...no side choice) but the Caesar salad was overpriced for what it was ($11 for lettuce, a couple of croutons and a few cheese shavings). Server was a little slow, and we were promised bread which never came, but our meals did come fairly fast. This visit was for a "date night" with my 10 year old daughter before a concert at Universal. Minion character paid us a visit which was a great touch for such a night.
Terrible service.. took forever to put our order in. The food took forever to come to the table, and when it finally did, it was all COLD!
Server was unapologetic. We finally had to speak to a manager.
The staff should know how to service semi large (8 ppl) parties with no problems at this location (Orlando).
We are Orlando locals that were looking for an Easter Brunch our entire family would enjoy. Kids ages 13 to 2 years old. The Hard Rock Kitchen Easter Brunch was perfect! The food, service and decorations were amazing. My two year old enjoyed meeting the Easter Bunny, and decorating cookies while the bottom less Mimosa was a real treat for Mom. Dad enjoyed the Lamb and extensive dessert selection. Overall a great place for Easter Brunch. We will be back next year!
This is an excellent Easter Brunch offering. So many choices all tastily prepared: yummy pastries, hand-carved meats, pancakes, French toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruit, omelet station, vegetables, cheese and crackers, delicious desserts, and Easter candy galore. The servers are attentive and friendly. Reservations required. resort atmosphere. Tables available outside as well.
It's a convenient choice if staying at the property but I couldn't see making a special trip to property to go here. Thier angle is comfort food with a twist. The outcome is only average as the dishes are none over-the-top and in several cases they would have been better served stinking with the traditional preparations as thier "twists" we're not successful.
We had a great time at The Kitchen! We were excited to see what Characters were going to be there for the Character Breakfast. The kids were very excited. The food was great...a nice variety of items and the service was excellent as well. We would for sure come back on another trip down to Florida!!
A group of us had dinner here and everyone was satisfied. Nothing stood out but it was all satisfactory.
However, the breakfast buffet was wonderful! They have all the usual station but also a station where they will make you fresh pancakes or French Toast- Elvis style with peanut butter and bananas. Their pastries and bread items were all fresh and tasty.
We stayed at the Portofino and their buffet was not good in any way- this was $2 less and there was no comparison in the food.
We were seated exactly at our reservation time. Great service. Easy to serve yourself from the buffet. Unfortunately the hollandaise sauce was bad. Tasted like vinegar and looked like clumpy pudding. It was horrible. The coffee was very strong. Even diluted, it was undrinkable. The orange juice was fantastic.
For those not familiar with Hard Rock restaurants, it's a chance to try something different. Legends of rock and roll are everywhere. Good choice of drinks. For groups with kids, the noise at the bar will shock a little, but you just have to avoid the central bar and everything will be fine.
