Food fantastic, great choice. Service good but no acknowledgement of my birthday which is a shame as they did last time. We were the first customers of the day so there wasn’t a huge amount of atmosphere but that’s was fine. It’s a cool space, lots of memorabilia.
The menu catered to all four of us dining (two adults and one 13 and 8 year old). The youngest was able to participate in “kids can cook” and had slot of fun (I never had sausage in a quesadilla, it was delicious of course). Both adult entrees (tenderloin and tuna) were cooked perfectly to our extreme rare level. We had reservations elsewhere the next night, but with the convenience staying at the Hard Rock hotel and the great experience our first night, we came again. It was another great experience.
We visited the restaurant for the breakfast buffet.....that doesn’t exist!!!!! Website advertises buffet but they don’t have one-apparently only during holidays.
This was supposed to be a $ but truly more like $$
Great dinner and great service. Nice offering of tap beers!
My family and I enjoyed a great Easter brunch. Cannot imagine a better experience.
Your staff went to great lengths to accommodate my granddaughter's dietary needs.
She is currently a very strict vegan as well as being gluten-free. The chef personally visited
our table and listed all the special entrees that he would be willing to make for her.
I was very impressed with the manner in which he and our server truly went the extra mile
to insure that everyone would be completely satisfied.
Kudos also to the team of lovely young ladies who greeted us as we entered the area.
They were warm and welcoming.
Thank you to all who helped make our day such a wonderful experience.
This is a hidden gem in Orlando, Florida! Six holiday brunches per calendar year; delicious food, nice presentation and attentive staff. Easter brunch was top notch; worth going back in the future. The Easter Bunny made rounds and kids were kept busy with holiday stuff. All kids had kid pricing up to age 17; very family friendly . Well done Hard Rock!
Family Easter brunch was fabulous! The food choices were wonderful and everything tasted delicious!
We come to the Kitchen every year for Easter Brunch and have a great time but this year it was different experience. I was fortunate to get the reservation time that I was looking for when I called the restaurant after booking through Open table. We did arrive 15 to 20 minutes later than anticipated as I had hurt my back and didn’t even think I could attend with the rest of my party. We tried calling to alert them that we’d be late but no one picked up. Upon arrival, my husband spoke to one of the 3 young ladies at the host station. She said she hadn’t canceled the reservation and would get a table cleaned for us and seated. Well, 30 minutes later, we asked again and got the same response. It took over 45 minutes to get seated. We were offered a table at the patio, high top, and we had a person on a wheelchair ??? What? Anyhow, when we finally were seated all the way in the back thorough the maze of tables, with a wheelchair, we were being seated at a table That could clearly accommodate only six people, of which we were a party of eight. There is no way we would fit comfortably. They were empty tables around and one next to us so we asked if they could please put those two tables together so that we could actually have room to which they said of course. Why would we have to be the ones coming up with this? I think the scheduling issues and table arrangements could have definitely been worked better and more efficiently. This is the last year that we will be attending brunch at the kitchen. I rather go to the Gaylord palms or Rosen where you get your moneys worth in food selection and service.
Food was very good but our server was just ok. He was nice but was slow to clear plates. It looks like they could have used more wait staff. This was Easter Buffet so clearing plates should have been a high priority.
Easter and my birthday
I did not expect a buffet or I would not have made a reservation. I had my 1 year old grandson and I was UNABLE to enjoy all the buffet stations because I could not leave him alone and the high chair was not on wheels. I spent $65.oo and ate a $20.oo meal. P.S. my daughter is a nurse at a very large hospital in Orlando and works the night shift and could not join us and my son-in-law is in Iraq and he obviously could not join us. I just wish I could have ordered off the menu so I could have sat down, been waited on and enjoyed my meal. Thank You.
Awesome Easter Buffet
Four of us went. Our server seemed very nice but I had to remind him after 20 mins that I hadn’t gotten my wine. The blue cheese/balsamic potato chips and pretzel sticks with beer cheese were great appetizers. My husband had chicken paillard and my son had the Mac and cheese and they both ate every bite.
Went back a second night bc we liked the place so much. Great staff and food!!
Part of a family trip, super kid friendly (7-12 y.o.), great menu (bacon covered meatloaf), huge salads, staff are fantastic, very friendly. Setting is great. Liked it so much we went back 2 nights later (Kitchen burger) bring your appetite. Different staff second time, same great service.
Quiet and friendly- my pizza came out cold and my family said their entrees were decent.
Entire facility needs training on hospitality code no personal attention to detail especially from hard Rock Hotel staff and restaurant. Reserved at 8 o’clock dinner reservation which was later than we wanted but was told all they had. Showed up there were two dozen tables open staff reported they had
The food was food was excellent with great choices. Not only did they have an omelet bar but they had a griddle where they make customized waffles & french toast. Also, we were pleasantly surprised to find that they validate parking! Will def go back!
This was the best brunch we have had in quite awhile. Expansive selection of items including made to order omelets and pancakes/ French toast. Service is always friendly.
Great. Food was delicious.
Food was great and table phone chargers a plus but ambiance was bland and waiter had a bit of a snooty attitude.
Sunday brunch had many options. Fruit was fresh. Baked goods, muffins, banana bread, chocolate croissants were the best. Bacon sausages were cooked well. Waffles pancakes and toppings were good. But the omelettes has too much oil in it. Everyone at the table complained about the greasy eggs. Since the chef makes it for you ask for no oil or at least less
The food was fine, average at best. The rosemary cornbread was the best thing we ate. They don’t seem to have enough staff to cover the tables, and for some reason it took 10 minutes to get a refill on a glass of wine.
Loved that it was actually casual. We went here for dinner our first night at The Hard Rock hotel and found the hostess and wait staff very friendly. We had the chicken chorizo soup; very tasty and filling. Also tried the rosemary cornbread and pretzels; both were really good! Next we had margherita flatbread and the whole wheat flatbread with chicken, spinach, mushrooms, sundried tomatoes and ricotta — both were very good! We enjoyed our meal so much we came back for breakfast and then 2 nights later brought our daughter there for dinner. Definitely recommend!
We had a great dinner, but there was a little confusion about which Hard Rock location we had made a reservation. We though we had made it for the city place location. After waiting 1/2 an hour we were told we had to go to the hotel.
Our waiter Bowen was great and made up for it. It turned out to be a great evening after all.
Service was interesting, server was less than enthusiasm to be work.
Wonderful service and lots of choices on the menu. Not terribly busy and very pleasant place to enjoy.
The food was delicious and the service was excellent! My family enjoyed their meals, but I LOVED the chicken pot pie. Sooo good! The carrot cake was excellent, and we really liked the deviled eggs app, too. The prices were also outstanding for the quality and amount of food. We’ll return next time we visit Universal Orlando.
Could use an update but food was yummy and service very good
We waited over 45 mins for our food, was not that busy. Wife’s salmon came almost raw. My burger was average, would not go back. Service was terrible, I was disappointed. Only advantage is the price.
Great service and excellent food at a reasonable price for a theme park high end hotel.
It was my daughter’s 3rd birthday and We had made this reservation specifically for the Character Breakfast. We had learned they no longer offer the Character Breakfast and yet it is still advertised. Other than than, service and food was very good.
Everything there is great quality!
The food is excellent! Our server John was awesome! We had a fabulous night and can’t wait to go back again and again!
Si te alojas en el Hard Rock Hotel no podes dejar de visitar “The Kitchen”. Muy rica comida, opciones gluten free y excelente ambientación.
The kitchen at the hard rock never fairies and it’s excellence… Ken behind the bar is awesome makes every visit their special and enjoyable
Love the HR concepts and venues, and this was just a different feel from HR Cafes. I'd go again for sure. Hamburger was great!
Great magic show. It's unfortunate they no longer have the character dining.
