Everything was awesome
Great time, great Atmosphere, nice staff, great food!
Love The Kitchen. Best breakfast in town. Going for dinner tonight
Forgot my salad - shrimp was nothing special. The brocolini was just so só - the service was slow
Wonderful breakfast! Great atmosphere, service, and food.
Thank you good food
Very cold in the restaurant. Not much meat in my entree.
Great food and excellent service. The titles of the kids items entertained the kids.
It’s unfortunate, because this used to be a great restaurant. We’ve been several times over the years and seems to keeping declining in service, food, presentation and value. Our drinks were clearly watered down but cost $16+... don’t mind paying for a great cocktail, but that is not what we received.
Salads used to be served in colanders, the Kitchen burger, used to be amazing... even had a large steak knife through he bun and fries in a basket. That’s NOT what we received. The burger was nothing special at all with a small handful of
fries on the plate. My husband ordered the seafood bolognese... only shredded particles of seafood could be found. We skipped on dessert because we weren’t going to pay for an overpriced dessert to again fall flat.
Sad to say... but that will be our last time visiting the Kitchen for dining. We kept giving it a shot in hopes it was a one time thing but nope... this is the standard now.
I sincerely hope Universal Orlando addresses the hotels and dining because what was a one time... looking to take the top spot over Disney... is now falling short in my opinion. Disney resorts pride themselves on service and experience.
Food was wonderful as was service. Perfect way to end a long day in the parks.
Food is very good at the Kitchen! We always eat here when staying at The Portofino Bay Hotel!
The customer service was excellent!
The food was delicious!
The Birthday dessert was amazing!
Food, beverages and service were perfection! Our first visited started off with dinner at The Kitchen and it was a wonderful way to begin our fun in the sun!
My fiancé & I both enjoyed our steak dinners. They were cooked perfectly and tasted wonderful. This was the best meal we had while being @ Universal. The waitress was very good too. I would highly recommend to anyone. Definitely worth it.
Linda our server was very considerate of my mother’s celiac disease needs when it came to choices on the menu. Dawn the manager was very gracious with explaining the steps that the cook takes to prepare the food. Food was excellently done and tasted delicious. The steak was better than Big Fire’s by far, and didn’t cost as much. Both our pasta dishes were perfect. The breaded Calamari wasn’t too rubbery and the breading was crispy and tasty. My party had a very good experience with this restaurant. If we come down again we will make sure to have breakfast.
Eggs Benedict were over cooked, basically hard boiled. The food was ok, not at all what I would have expected for the price. Waiter was very attentive!
I would try again for for dinner, perhaps breakfast is not their specialty.
Breakfast at the kitchen was amazing. The serving sizes were awesome and the food was all delicious. The same cannot be said for dinner. Granted, it was a Saturday night, however the servers were so quick to get you in and out everything felt rushed and the food was mediocre at best
Food was good. Went there for birthday had the best cake ever. Expected a little more music in the background bc of the hard rock name but apparently I booked the wrong hard rock and that’s at the other hard rock. All in all everyone enjoyed their meals and had a good time.
Great food Jeffery took care of the allergy needs perfectly. A fun place to eat with cool stuff inside.
We enjoyed The Kitchen. They have the best kids menu with the cutest names (I Don't Want That/ I'd Rather Have McDonalds etc :) Kids ate all of their food. My friend loved her salmon dish. I had the garden pasta dish, which was disappointing; I had thought it would come in an olive oil or cream sauce with the veggies, and be on the lighter side, but it was served with marinara sauce and small vegetables chopped up in it. The dish looked pretty much identical to the kids' pasta dish that my son ordered (with some peppers and onions thrown in). We had a great server, and liked taking the water taxi back to the park.
Everything was delicious
Everything was good other than the service. The waiter spend 20 minutes at the table next to us chatting, then our food came out but one order was missing....had to wait for them to cook it, seemed like the waiter was too concerned chatting then getting the order correct. I normally don’t complain but we will not be returning.
The Kitchen never disappoints, my dinner was just the way I ordered it and I finished every morsel on my plate. Waitstaff was very attentive. Can't wait to return!
Everything was fine and good, but that’s it. I realize being on resort can make things overpriced and generic, but this was a bit much. Very average menu, average service. Not bad, not what I’d expect though from the hard rock
Was here for easter brunch. Service was slow..as in 35 min between courses. Ask for a soda refill and wait 10-15 minutes. Desserts were grocery freezer quality. Costwise, about $25 worth of food eaten for $300. I understand easter brunch but this brunch was not worth the cost or the wait. Of you aren't staying at the hotel and don't get parking validated, expect a $47 parking charge.
Outstanding food, great service, wonderful Easter brunch! Highly recommend!
An abundance of good food. The staff is very attentive.
We never have room for desert so we went specifically to get “the kitchen sink” and it did NOT disappoint!!
Celebrating brothers birthday ! Everyone was excellent ! Would recommend the restaurant to everyone ! Thank you for such a great time and meal!!!!!
Tasty food, nice server, a little expensive, and the bathrooms are outside the restaurant, which is fine but different.
Best place we have eaten on this trip. Will be coming back again.
First meal on vacation and it was delicious. The waiter was very attentive and polite.
The Kitchen had amazing food and service. Everything was fresh!
For drinks and lounging, definitely VELVET!
It’s was good for a restaurant hotel - if anything a bit pricey
Excellent service and food, the best/funniest kids menu I’ve ever seen!!
Excellent food and service! Would definitely be back.
It was really good and nice food, price a little bit too expensive but great food
The food was bleh and overpriced
