Great place, it will be missed!
Nice ambience for a casual restaurant with twinkly lights. Very nice server (Quinn?). They were out of the entree I selected so chose next item and it was good and huge portion (biggest half chicken ever). The side of roasted cauliflower was forgettable and mushy. Not great. I ordered a glass of the Pinot noir and it was warm and vinegary so sent it back and ordered a beer, beer was fine. They offered a small bowl of complimentary kale that was slightly roasted. Just blah. The burger my friend got and ordered medium was quite rare. He ate it and said it was fine but it wasn’t great and seems like something that should be easy to master. All in all, nice space but just so so food. With a very nice server.
Crispy pork ribs, roast chicken, and lamb burger. All were amazing!
We’ve come to Tap and Trotter many times and have always enjoyed it. But we felt the food was not as good as it has been. The burgers were best. The grain bowl was uninspiring. Overall it was a bit disappointing.
Excellent food, service and ambiance although music selection was a bit off... “who let the dogs out?”
Such a great spot for really good food and drinks -- WITH kids!
There’s no other place I can think of where the food is so original and tasteful and as good as or better than a $35+/plate establishment; where you can enjoy a bright sunny cheerful brewpub atmosphere; where you can bring the kids and the kids’ meals are just as delicious; and the attention to detail from the staff is unmatched.
The Kirkland Tap&Trotter works for a date, a birthday, a casual get the gang together, a business meal, an anniversary, or just a hearty meal.
Yes FIVE stars.
Wonderful food, we shared 2 apps and 2 entrees among 3 people and everything was delicious - especially the pasta.
RUSHED SERVICE. FOOD OK BUT I EXPECTED MORE. PROBABLY WILL NOT GO BACK WITH SO MANY OPTIONS.
Food was okay. Somewhat expensive. Not too special. Service was good. Noise level was moderate.
We had a nice time, but the food was mixed. The beet salad had a strong seasoning that none of us liked, the grain bowl was dry and underwhelming. The lamb burger and lamb ragout were great. Our waiter was adequate. I would recommend it to someone who wasn’t limited to the vegetarian options.
Excellent restaurant with good service and excellent food. From a visual perspective one would think that the food served is bar food but the variety and quality of the food is superior. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Everything was pretty good. Nothing was great.
Went with some friends to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Service was excellent, food was great, and it’s a very cool spot. Recommended highly for a more casual night out.
$22 lamb burger ????? But GOOD - Wait staff were prompt - Mixed drinks just so-so - cobler 50% -
Just great food.
Food excellent. Kids menu appreciated. Staff was very accommodating. Looking forward to next time.
Our chicken was amazingly burnt on the outside and raw on the inside, would not recommend.
Great for kids. Very friendly staff.
We had gone for Mother’s Day dinner and loved our meal. We tried the veggies and even our kids tried and liked the fiddleheads. The parsnips were not as crisp as I expected, maybe they could have been served separately instead of on top of the yogurt. Everything else was wiped clean. The kids Sundae was perfect size for sharing as well.
I will definitely be going again
Fabulous location for celebration with the family. Loud enough that kids don’t stick out, and kids menu that both the kids and I love to eat. Excellent craft cocktails and real food for Mom and Dad... the whole package.
The food was excellent and very quick.
Connor was great as were our dinner choices!
We were really disappointed with the quality of the food at Kirkland. Most of the items came out limp and soggy, not what we were expecting for a place that advertises the big grill. The sides that came with my entree were comically small, two bok choy leaves and some soupy beans that tasted like they were out of a can. The tofu tasted almost completely unseasoned. The prices were also way too high, especially given the lack of quality. The best thing we had all night was the Iggys bread at the start. The service and ambiance was great and the drinks/bar were great as well.
Delicious ..great service, kid's menu with real food ..value..A cool cool place.
Excellent pork chop special. Pretty calm for a Saturday night around 6pm, but things seemed to get a bit livelier toward the end of the meal.
Good food and great service
Great place! I don’t equate loud places with “energetic” tho.
Just had another great meal from Tony Maws. KT&T and Craigie on Main have never disappointed us. The food is thoughtful and delicious, the service is friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is great. We're fans. We weren't planning on a big steak this time, but when we saw the 32 oz. ribeye on the menu, we had to share it. Perfect. We all loved it. Great onion rings with it. Yes, we're the kind of people who appreciate a great onion ring, so consider our review in that context. We'll be back. Again and again, probably. Thanks, Tony!
Excellent!! Great service, great food! We've been there several times before. Nice selection of beers, which is always nice. The server was very knowledgeable about the gluten free alternatives.
Tap returning is like enjoying a meal and drinks with an old friend.
Food is delicious and there is an interesting variety of menu items. Cocktails are also interesting though I do wish there was a little more variety. Service was at times a bit rushed despite the restaurant being quite empty, but our server was still very helpful with suggestions when we were unsure what to order. The mussels and the lamb burger were favorites.
The restaurant was nice enough, we went on a low key Monday night. The atmosphere is great, the food was so-so, but the service left much to be desired. Though we had a reservation and the place was mostly empty we were seated at a table right next to the door and hostess stand.
Very good menu and creativity
Will go back
Best fried chicken ever! KTT only makes it on Sunday afternoons - in limited supply. It’s well worth the trip to get it!!
It was fabulous to catch up with my friend and little one. There was space for a stroller and a hungry toddler. Food was excellent and as always so were the cocktails. I got the pork belly and eggs and the pork belly and kale were so perfectly cooked. The eggs were great but pork belly and grilled kale outshines eggs! My kids hot dog was great as well! Love it when kids menus are not just Mac and cheese.
The round tables are tiny. When asked to be changed, they refused even though there were several empty ones. :(
