Wonderful date night during AZ Restaurant Week. Exceptional service!!
Our server Cohen was great and very attentive! The food and beverages were delicious!! Looking forward to going back soon!
Another excellent experience at the Keg. Great value for outstanding food and service.
Combination birthday anniversary. Great food. Great service from Chance.
Chance made sure we had a wonderful evening.
Great appetizers, good steak. Service was bit slow and a little scattered. I had to remind the staff to bring an item I had ordered (cocktail, appetizer) one of which (the cocktail) I never get by the end of my meal.
The food was to die for. The kitchen was a little backed up so service was a little slow, but our waiter let us know in advance so it wasn’t an issue. Loved!
We have always loved the Keg but the menu seemed to have changed with mainly Sirloin now. Our server was amazing and very attentive. We were just a little disappointed with the choices.
Since the pandemic I have found the quality of the food a many restaurants to be subpar. I’ve been disappointed by many of the upscale steak house. But not The Keg. The steak and lobster was superb as was the service. If you’re looking for quality tasting steak. I recommend The Keg.
I am in town from Texas and wanted to meet with friends for dinner while I am in town.
I always look forward to an opportunity to eat at the Keg, always a good experience.
Perfect birthday dinner with the family. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Great steaks and our favorite twice baked potato!
Regularly come to this location but tonight there was a massive hair in our food. It was so noticeable it should have been seen before they sent it out. Management was nice, remaking the meal, comping most of our meal and giving us a free dessert… but then also forgot and charged us for the dessert. Overall any other restaurant we would’ve left but it was a rare ugly experience. One other thing to note on this location is the knives and forks scrape the plates to the nth degree so if you are sensitive to that at all it’s pretty unbearable at times.
Great environment and service. Plus the food was amazing.
The food , ambiance, and service was great! Nick was a great waiter and made sure we knew exactly what would be plated. Double bake your potato trust me !
The steaks were dryer then expected. Great waitress, she had a lovely personality. The noise level was to much especially around 7p where it felt I had to almost yell across the table to have a conversation.
The mix drinks and wine were perfect.
Our server, Nick, was fantastic. Very attentive without being intrusive to our conversation. The food was wonderful. Only negatives were that the Brussels sprouts were undercooked and the key lime pie had zero lime taste, which defeats the purpose. The creme brûlée was delicious as were the rest of our drinks, appetizers, and entrees.
Outstanding birthday dining experience! Unbelievably tender steak with a unique blue cheese crust! The twice-baked potato was heavenly, and the warm bread a nice bonus. Our server was gold medal quality with spot-on menu suggestions and stellar customer service. He even brought me a large slice of their signature dessert to celebrate on the house!! Overall, The Keg hit it out of the park and truly made my birthday dinner fantastic!
My girlfriend and I go every year for our anniversary, the entire staff was outstanding. Our waiter, Scott , Was on point and made sure we were taking care of. We could not have been happier with the food, service and the atmosphere.
we had a reservation for my birthday for 8 and it took us 20 minutes to get a server. we were all servers at the table so we knew it was very long before we could get our drinks. Overall server was good once he came around.
We love the Kegs. 1st time to sit in the dining area at this one in Tempe. Birthday for my daughter and it turned out special. Our waitress (Erika) said she just finished training but it didn't show. Erika was polished, calm, efficient and friendly. Our food and drink orders were served in a timely manner and the appetizers and dinners were cooked to perfection.
This was our first date night in a while and it had been over 2 years since we'd visited The Keg.
The food and service were both great. The reservations we made assured we received a table right away. All in all a very great night and will be back again.
The music was a bit too loud where we were seated.
Never disappointed with The Keg! Juicy steaks and amazing appetizers with good drinks:) don't miss out !
Great service. I got the prime rib which was delicious. My wife got the lobster tails which was also good. Clean restaurant. Good ambience.
Awesome restaurant! Would and will definitely go again. Nice ambiance for a date, business dinner, or just to have a great meal with some friends. Just a little louder than I anticipated, but nothing extreme especially since it’s fine dining/steakhouse/grill house. Excellent, fast service service! Great food! Nice cocktails! Clean! Nice seating arrangements! Overall 4.9999978 out of 5 stars :)
Only negative I have is the location, lol. Tempe is extremely crowded, primarily due to ASU (Go Sun Devils!), and the traffic shows for it. A lot of the area around the location of the restaurant was funneled and gridlocked due to the everlasting road work and construction, which in turn leads to A LOT of horrible driving. Arizona has an overly excessive amount of absolutely horrible drivers. Literally every second or third car you see someone fumbling with their phone while attempting to drive , and what I’ve noticed since retiring in Arizona back in 2018 is people here don’t drive to get to their destination…they drive to prevent you from passing them. The owners should definitely find a more intimate location for the restaurant instead of being right off the highway, in a shopping plaza, near heavily road worked and construction areas, lol.
I will still go back the next time in Tempe!
Great food. Great service from Julian
We have been to this location many times and we’re always pleased with everything they did. Last night was our 51st anniversary and we were disappointed with our meal. We asked for an unseasoned steak and got seasoning which my wife does not like and the lobster was cold. Yes I will go back but not on a weekend.
Our waiter was Julian and he was excellent! We had The Keg filet mignon dinner and it was outstanding! Elegant place but not stuffy, one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Phoenix/Tempe.
The food was delicious, the service was delightful, the prices were high. Like a friend of mine said recently, it seems restaurants are trying to recoup 2020 losses in one transaction.
I was there with my friend that I haven't seen in months. We had an amazing server his name was Cowan took great care of us. Food was amazing . Had a wonderful time . We were there for several hours and wasn't rushed to leave. I usually go to the Chandler location but enjoyed this location alot better. I will always come back to this location again
food was excellent as always, wait staff had some helpful suggestions about menu items. over all a very fine experience.
We love the keg, usually come at least once a year for my husbands birthday. I look forward to getting a steak everytime, however this last time it tasted like I was eating at Texas Roadhouse. It was wayy over done, no pink even though I asked for pink and WAY too much seasoning. I was pretty dissapointed since I expect better quality coming from the KEG. I’m not sure we will be returning. The service is always fantastic, but the food has gone down hill unfortunately. As for noise level, the music is always a little loud as well for the atmosphere I’d rather something a little quieter
Our hostess Darby greeted us with a beautiful smile and vibrant energy, almost as to say, "I am glad you are with us today."
Our waiter Keegan was personable and professional. He was the type of sever that you would have invited to sit with you at your dinner.
This was our second visit to the Tempe Keg and it will certainly not be our last.
Had to return fish talapi. Very dry and over cooked.
Prime rib cooked as ordered but cut of meat was poor. At least half of meat was not edible.
Waiter was good and they did not charge for replacement of fish dinner. Staff was very apologetic but food was poor.
I was looking forward to crab legs and when I requested was told menunhadnt been updated. Could have been a notification inside the menu
Been to the keg many times but haven’t in years since meeting my fiancé. She’s a vegetarian and steak houses don’t necessarily mix well. However this time we went seeing they had a couple vegetarian options. Needless to say that part fell very short. Hummus, cold, on a plate slapped with cauliflower on top isn’t really appealing to hardly anyone. I know it’s a steak house but if you’re gonna offer alternative options make it worthwhile for that person who’s being a good sport and going to a steakhouse like my fiancé does with me.
Great service, delicious food, best steakhouse in Arizona!
Both me and my husband’s steak was too salty but our calamari was superb and our apple martini was too. Great service from beginning to end.
Always an excellent meal at what you'd expect to pay for the quality of the food and service.
