The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Niagara Falls Courtyard Ratings and Reviews
The dinner was awesome and the fact we had awesome staff made the dinner that much better. We had a waitress named Rhonda and she was great, very fun and amusing. We had a nice booth and we were able to find drinks to our liking. I definitely hope I get to go again.
I went with my girlfriend this past weekend for an early Valentine's day. We had an excellent meal starting with mushrooms Neptune and baked brie. The steaks were awesome as always, I had the top sirloin and my girlfriend had the prime rib. Both steaks were cooked exactly how we wanted and the meals were delicious. We would definitely go again.
We had a fabulous server. My date has sensitivity issues with food. Erica was very accommodating and made sure that everything was as requested. The chef cooked our food to perfection. The steaks were tender and juicy, vegetables crisp but well cooked and potatoes light and fluffy. We were given a huge piece of cake for our birthday celebration as well. We were very happy with everything start to finish. Was an absolute perfect time.
Not enough servers to keep up with patrons. Water wasn't refilled once in the entire dinner. The highlight of the service was the manager, he was personable and talked with us in pleasant conversation. They brought my wife a free dessert for her birthday, that was unexpected yet appreciated. Overall I would come again.
We had early reservations (5:00) and did not expect to see the crowd that was already lined up for seats...
even so, we were seated quickly and made comfortable with a friendly waitress and drinks
The food was absolutely perfect, steak done exactly as ordered, sides fresh and colorful...
Best evening ever! Food, staff, atmosphere...All A+
we have always liked going to this keg for the great food. the price was always very good as they give 20% off to locals. on our last visit the food and service was very good but they now only give 10% off for locals. comparing the keg prices in st catharines to this keg i think we will be going to the st catharines keg in the future and still save.
Our original reservations was for 6:30 p.m. and we arrived at 4:55 p.m. as our plans changed. Although we arrived early we were seated within 15 minutes. Our steaks were cooked exactly as we asked for them and the vegetables were fresh. The creme brulee was amazing! Nice view of Niagara Falls if seated near the window. The prices on entrees were $6-$7 more than other Kegs. I guess the price increase is all about location!
We enjoyed our dinner, but were disappointed when in the reservation we mentioned it was a special occasion and then nothing.... I’ve seen other people on celebrations there get cake or champagne or something... our waitress, while rather nice, was REALLY absent minded. It was also incredibly noisy and all around us empty tables were not being cleared. Being window seats overlooking the falls, it would be nice if they were available-especially as we didn’t get one. I still enjoy the keg, but so not think I would trust them again when I want to celebrate a special occasion. I also received an email from opentable shortly after our meal asking why we didn’t show up.
I usually love the Keg, but this location was a major let down and a waste of money. It was a date night , 9:45 pm and they seated us right next to screaming kids, when we asked to move we were given attitude about changing areas. The food was a real let down, I had what looked like a fruit fly stuck to a crispy onion. For $150 for two of us, we could have gotten better service and much better food quality at a fraction of the cost else where. I will not return to this location.
The environment was cozy and seating was private. Waitress was professional efficient and pleasant with excellent knowledge of the menu.
The restaurant was clean and well kept.
The food was exactly what we anticipated at The Keg.
Overall a pleasant enjoyable and very tasty eating experience.
Our waitress was excellent on New Year’s Eve. I booked a party of 2 and my parents wanted to join me and my boyfriend. She said not a problem at all and brought us more glasses. Her service was incredible. She was quick, brought everything very quickly and efficiently and she made great conversation too and was very welcoming. I would come to this keg again just got her service!!!! I don’t remember what her name was for sure, but I do remember her saying she lived at the beaches. She had blonde hair and glasses !!!! What a great experience because of her :)
We stayed in the hotel attached for New Year's, in Niagara Falls. The Keg is one of our most favourite places, since the food is always prepared just right, tastes wonderful, and the staff are very good at what they do. All prices in Niagara are very touristy, higher than our regular local Keg, however, which holds true for every place to eat. Great place for our family meal and comfortable atmosphere. Food was prompt and hot. Best French Onion soup of anyone else's. Love the little half size desserts, as a final touch.
Tippicly a restaurant that goes bye its name and not the good food
Used to be the best steak arround you could find
Now it is nothing special and therefore over priced for what you get
Simple garlic bread was not possible
You ask for a steak without the bacon because i don't like bacon
What you get is a steak that taste like bacon because it was wrapt in it
Small menu and no flexible service
Restaurant it self does not look inviting ore cozy at all
Will not come back here
We didn't get the table we requested, but was very close. the Server was new, but did a good job. Unfortunately they didn't have the wine we ordered ( but it was in the glass wine cellar) -
and our appetizer was a overcooked( we had the baked brie and the breads were burnt and the brie was liquid) - . the main meals were delish! -
food was good and service was good.
